Oh, and for your little story, try this on for size: If god has a "plan" for us, he knows what we're going to do and has our destiny written. So whatever we choose, it's not because we choose it, it's because god chose it for us. So really, do whatever you want, it's not you doing it, it's god's desitny for you. And no, i'm in no way church going, but this ill-bred sense of logic seems most popular around justifying one's actions for whatever reason. Yeah, the people who don't want to get shot in the head are hypocrites, but the priests who rape little boys aren't talked about. |

Although I believe in Al Qadr, I don't believe that you should intend to sit down and do nothing in your life for this purpose simply because I don't know what plan has been made for my life. I will come across decisions and make choices but I believe that even though these choices are already written down, I will be able to choose freely because I have no knowledge of what's written down. |
But if you don't... umm.. let's say LET YOURSELF GET SHOT IN THE HEAD, you shouldn't feel bad because it was god's intentions, right?

ok, God is omniscient (all knowing), so he knows everything....everything you will do. now this is where it gets confusing: we all have free will to do whatever we want. and just because God already knows what were gonna do, doesnt mean that we dont have a free will to make our own destiny. its not pre-destined, its just already known. yes, I know it hurts my head too. |

you know guys... religion around here is considered "almost" illegal !
for those few reasons... 1 - always ended up in big bad flaming about how one shouldn't try and change the others ! 2 - Always end up people flaing for being morons because they beleive in something. 3 - Always is bad in itself for debate ! anyway hope this doesn't end up bad... but i suggest you guys stay put... i for one won't talk much in here for my vision is a lot more prcise then wat i read up to now.... in any case gho on with it if ya must... but i warn you... this is pretty touchy a subject. |
