SFO Archive Forums - What do u ppl like abt asia?

Most of you only mentioned Japan I ll talk about other.

1. South Korea-very advance city. Its very similar to Japan since they r quite close to each other in area such as culture and language. They recently just stated as car line of their own.

2. Hong Kong- it was a British colony so it's very modernized and very advance. It is so known as the international stop of business people so culture is rilly diverse. English, French and Japanese is somewhat bended with the local language.

3. Middle part of Vietnam is part of a French colony so cities in these area are very french-like, is should be preserved but it is also enriched by the advanced cultural values of the mankind. There is also a mix of race in this region where ppl speak a pidgin of French and viet.

4. Philippine, Singapore- Philippine was a Spanish colony. Some parts are also very Europe-like, very modernized. Spanish was also bended into this culture. During World War II, Singapore was occupied by the Japanese then it was relieved by the British. Its economic focus away from trade towards becoming a provider of financial and other services with a high-tech oriented manufacturing sector. At the same time, social and political stability were assured by various government policies. All this helped attract considerable foreign investment and create an economically prosperous state, with a major international standing, despite its small size. It is also a favorite tourism spot.

does anyone else no any other advance asian countries or cities

i think australia is not part of asia...

o yeah, i also japanese economic is going down the drain. in only a few years it could turn ugly...
