peca, with all due respect (which is none), you're a moron.

from the book "earth and it's people", my AP world history book:

Is it in this context that we must see the career of jesus, a young carpenter from gailee region of notheren isreal. Offended by what he precieved as jewish reliouse and political leaders' excessive concern with money and power and by perfunctory nature of mainstream jewish religiouse practice in his time, jesus prescribed a return to the personal faith and sprituality of an early age. he eventially attracted the attention of jewish authorities in jerusalem, who regarded popular reformers as trouble makers. They turned him over to the roman governer, pontiuse pilate. jesus was improsoned, condemned, and executed by crrucifixion. his followers, the apostle, carried on after his death and sought to spread his teachings and their beleif that he had been resurrected (return from death to life) among their fellow jews.

i got that straight from the book, not even in my words. word by word it's from my book.

i'm not saying the bible is right, or what he tought was true, buT HE WAS A REAL PERSON, YOU ########S.
Y ami que?

Actually, I hate MLK Jr. He means absolutely nothing to me. He didn't do much; the Civil Rights movement would have occured eventually without him, and considering he lied and cheated to get his Doctrine, and he stole his "I have a dream" speech, he's just a petty liar and egomaniacle piece of trash. I have much more respect for Malcolm X than I do MLK Jr... but, to be honest, I don't find any Civil Rights leaders of that era to be that 'great.'

My top three pics are Jesus, the Apostle Paul, and James Madison. Jesus because He's my Savior, Paul because he wrote many books of the Bible, and Madison because he's the father of the Constitution. :unclesam:

Another great figure... I forgot... Bill Gates... just look at windows.. yay..

blaze985 11-01-2004 09:40 PM

Allow me to rephrase, VF. I don't like all the freaking praise MLK Jr. gets when he's undeserving of it. Want to know the truth? It's a freaking movement brought forth by an entire race. One man, especially MLK Jr., did almost nothing. I've read all the books, I've studied it in-depth. He did some things, but the majority was done by others.
