token: i dont appreciate u'r tone...

do u know how BUSY i am ?? do u know how many hours of coding it will take for me to give someone admin access in the chan (or to make ANY changes to the game for that matter) ??

no... all YOU have to do is sit there and go "i want this, and i want that" but for every "this and that" i have to find 3-5 hours (or more) of my own #### TIME to program (of what seems to me like a request by ONE person)...

if u have 20 people in the forum backing u up.. fine... until then, we have 1000 other problems that need to be fixed LIKE LAG...

and i'm 100% sure NO ONE here will disagree with me when i say that fixing Lag is more important than anything else in this game @ this point...

now... i have spent the last 2+ weeks working on a brand new net-code (which will improve the lag as well as the overall gameplay)... to be honest, i dont see any updates to the game until this is finalized (which will prob be another week or two)...

i'm tired... i haven't got a lot of sleep l8tely (our main authentication server has been crashing every few hours for the last day or so, and i'm goin crazy trying to find out why)... so the last thing i want to read is u'r bitchin Token, or hear that u'r bothering lefty over this little "request/bitching" of u'rz...

i reckon having more admins is a good idea but u i dont think you should allow them to permanently ban people
all you should do is set something up so that some people have the abaility to kick the person off the server for a limited time...say half an hour and then if they dont stop doing whatever you kicked them for one of the full admins can ban them

The board isnt the problem, and power here isnt somthing i want/need. sympothy? if im not mistaken, the day i posted that, i denounced what i said, and gave my reasons for it. and yeah, my fuse is short, so what? why is making another sysop or two even a problem? it isnt like you could abbuse the power. you dont get ftp acces, if im not mistaken, and you cant make it so you automaticly win, or anything. it would do nothing but good, so why the #### arent there more?

that, mig, is a genious idea. and yes, tm, i do understand how much time goes into this. and i do understand that lag is more important. what i didnt know is how much tiem it took to appoint an admin.

can you blame me for that? no, you cant. im not behind the scenes at all. but right now, we have nothing preventing anything in the chat other than flood control, which was a good thing to implement.

honestly, i dont care if you like my tone. wanna ban me now? go ahead. wanna ban me from the game? be my guest. alll i EVER did with this post was try and HELP the people in the chat. if you wish to ignore than, fine. if you dont ahve the time, so be it.

and on the elfty thing. what the #### am i supposed to do? when i ahve a suggestion, i ask him to tell ya about the post, because you two keep in contact with each other (to my understanding). i ask him to upload avatars because ewalk seems to have died, hes always on aim, and its conveniant. when i ask him to tell you somthing, its because HE can let you know, directly. if i post somtihng here, it is to suggest somthing to the MEMBERS. NOT you. simply because without member support, nothing will get done.

Yes, i woud. but, im not. nor do i want to be. ive modded many boards, and done a good job. im not campiagning for this, because i could give a fuck whos the new sysop, as long as they do there job right.
