Actually, Kamehamea (spl?) really came from a King with that name who lived in Hawaii. You can even look up the name in the Excyclopidia. The creator, Akira, wanted to name the move something diffrent, and remeberable, and special, and his wife suggested this. You can get some more on it here (at leat I think so).
