It wont matter you cant hurt Marvel, u make is sound that this is ur whole life. So just get up open the window to see sun shine for the first 2-3 years.

u guy's are surprisingly, agreeable on what you say but all im saying is we have to get the "site" up and running!! you guy's are obviously smart, have any suggestions?

no, the site is not my whole life! it's just a good thing to do to kill time when im not out getting drunk at some partie. or doing something fun with my dawgs!~

That's just it....it's not gonna happen.

In the world of big business, nothing's for free. Everything has a price. Therefore, unless TMy smoothes out a deal with Marvel, promising Marvel quite a bit of time to continue running the site (most likely $12 per month for each person that plays it, which will run up profits of a few thousand bucks a month, if not more), the site will never come back up. And that's assuming that Marvel will just forgive TMy for the copyright infringement laws that he broke...they already appear to be on some sour terms (TMy COULD be forced to pay Marvel up to around $300,000 in damages in a class-action lawsuit), so I doubt that XMvsSF will EVER come back.

you know that this kinda stuff has happen before right?

For anyone who hasn't seen the letter that Marvel sent to TMy, here is a copy. This should clarify that there are indeed sour relations between TMy and Marvel at the moment, and that the site will most likely not be allowed to go back up, at least not if TMy intends to keep Marvel material on the site:

Now that would be a good idea....creating a fully-original fighting site online, using original characters, attacks, storylines, etc. I know for a fact that a few months back, TarkanX expressed interest in creating such a site, but i've yet to know his project. If TMy and Tarkan could collaborate and create a 100% original fighting site, that would be their best option. However, since I'm fairly sure that TMy isn't getting back any of the time he spent in the creation of XMvsSF online, he most likely wouldn't want to spend the time to start over from scratch using original material.
