Oh we have something similar called terms, 3 terms in an academic year, a 2 week holiday at the end of each term except for summer (6 for summer) and a 1 week holiday for every half of term.

ProPer way(s) to say this all:
1 year has 4 Quarters. 2 Quarters make 1 Semster, thus 1 Year has 2 Semesters! And that "terms" or "Quaterly's" are called MIDTERMS/ MIDTERM EXAMS! And towards the end of tha year, you'll have FINALS/ FINAL EXAMS! Have I enlightened anybody yet today? Flllluck Irish Day! Just another day for tha Rich to get Richer, while tha Poor get Educated. |
