ok, since no one ever replyed to that kind of ####...
in big bold letter... <span style='font-size:17pt;line-height:100%'>!!! NO CAPCOM CHARS !!!</span> that mean tmyapp said only... MARVEL and SF chars. in no way will these ever make it... MEGAMAN, STRIDER, MORRIGAN, ANITA, etc... they will never be in there as tmyapp already said about a year ago that he never loved CAPCOM characters... he always loved the MARVEL characters ! which means this game should change name and be called MARVEL vs STREET FIGHTER. which is actually a tentative name that TMYAPP told himself ! ok, now onto the helpers idea... i will change the actual ones... GUILE = should be flash kick, not sonic boom (reason: his flashkick is more of his trademark then the sonic boom) VENOM = he's ok like he is... should only be a little faster in getting in. now he just seems like he is floating around at 0.5km/hours. SPIRAL = should SWITCH you and the other player, this getting you completely out of the way. not just teleport you. CAPT. AMERICA = well, his charging star is his actual trademark ! THE HULK = really, i don't know... what would really be him ? maybe the ROCK THROWING thing ? BLANKA = the electrical attack would be best suited for him... maybe he could come out to the center of the screen and then "ELECTRICAL STORM" the place ! (of course not enterily) PSYLOCKE = keep her like she is. DR DOOM = same as PSYLOCKE SAKURA = would do a ... keep her like she is ! SHUMA GORATH = i would rather see an UPGRADE like a power UP, then throwing himself at high velocity... i mean, what would be a scientist if he is only able to throw himself into battle ! (yes SHUMA GORATH is a scientist from another dimension, he actually destroyed it) well... you see my point... helpers should be doing what they are famous at... ZANGIEF = throw type GUILE = anti air type (aka FLASH KICK) see where i go ? anyway... all your suggestion are good TMYAPP and so are the ones of no soul... but character should be keeping their TRADEMARKS as their attacks ! that's really all that matter ! and thinking character cannot be in because they will be playable ones ? must i remind you that... PSYLOCKE JUGGERNAUGHT SAKURA SHUMA GORATH DOCTOR DOOM CAPTAIN AMERICA THE HULK VENOM will all eventually become PLAYABLE character ! why i know... they are all in the POLL when you vote for the next char... what does this mean ? well, eventually HELPERS will disappear one by one until we get only BLANKA, GUILE and those new that will eventually be in, but will never be in the POLL ! seriously, there is no limit to what an helper can do, still, it must remain true to the character ! i mean that i don't see GUILE switching the players around ! as for the helper not being able to be use when being hit... what will they be use if you rid us of the best anti-super defense we have ? actually... helpers should be able to come out whereever you are in the screen ! example: i launch a super but i cannot use an helper... that'S a rip off... if i hitted the opponent with a super, he deserves to get more damage by my helper too don't you think ? and last, but not the least.... helpers should stay true and have their TRADEMARKS, example of guile, he should have his FLASH KICK not his sonic boom ! did i over told it ? :colgate: |

what about having helpers come from the top and bottom of the screen instead always from the side. That way you could have Gen coming in from the bottom doing his multi-kick thing that hits you like 5 or 6 times, or coming from the top with his foot-stomp thing.
Or maybe even Rolento drops down from the top and drops out 4 or 5 grenades. I love the magneto force bubble idea that protects you for 5-6 seconds, although it would be similar to Dr.Doom except that it wouldn't hit the opponent like Dr.Doom's does. Maybe even get Jean-Grey to come in and use her mind to teleport your opponent to the other side of the screen (similar to Spiral except your opponent gets moved instead of you!) or use Phoenix as a helper somehow. I dunno, just a few ideas, insterested to hear your opinions, no flames please, just general comments as to whether my ideas are good or pointless. thanks |
How about changing captain america so the he comes on the screen, chucks his shield which follows u and hits 1-3 times.

how about someone comes out and like throws this thing at you that neutralizes all yoour attackes, I.E, you can punch and kick as much as you want but your moves will go right through your opponent.. it's sorta like the move from mortal kombat.

how about we could have a special helper for tag mode. a character comes out (i don't kno who tho) and can force the other partner out.

have characters who arent in the game come out and do air combos since we cant do them, or do super combos, not having the same power as playable characters,
take out guile and venom since he will be a playable character do something about spiral, have her come out and hit you like on marvel vs capcom 2 |
im always a fan of the health booster helpers or offense/defense enhancing helpers. that'll make some of the matches really interestin' when it comes down to just a few bits of vitality left. I also think you should make it so you can't use them while you are getting hit. it makes it that much easier for ppl to get some good combos in

heres 1 why dont we have 1 helper for tag..ken when u do double team the partner of ryu/evilryu ,ken comes out instead of their actual partner and does a sinku hadukin as well but make kens sinku weaker coz he aint as powerful when it comes down 2 ki power

How about the first "stoppable" helper.
A "telekinetic/telepathic" helper jumps into the game to preform a nearly "unblockable" assist when summoned. ...If the player summoning the helper is "hit" while the helper is still "jumping in"...it would cancel out the helpers assist....or possibly "change" the helpers assistance. I was thinking someone like Gene Grey fly's in...touch's fingers to temples....and the opponent gets "mind raked" and thrown to the far wall. Since it would be a nearly unblockable assist. The assist could be devestating if not broken..and would only allow you to use it a few times. OR The assist could be weak and allow you alot of uses. blanka can be jumped over easily.
With Ryu...ya just float in the air over him with hadokens. Spiderman..spiderkicks. Chun-Li..triple jump..same with cyclops. Gene Grey helper...stops that kind of "helper avoidance"..and could only be stopped if you actualy hit the summoner. I say "weak with alot of uses" and "nearly unblockable" so the helper can be used more tactile like. Or..better yet...lets just add a new playable chacter that can preform a similare move like that. :p Im just trying to think up ways to introduce "invisible" features..like telepathy and telekinetics....things that you cant block "physicaly" but can be stopped or inturupted through physical attacks. :) ya know, what i mean? ??? The weak side/unique side of this helper is that "another" helper can stop it...provide you havent used up all your blankas or spylockes already. Hence why you would need alot or them if the helper was stoppable. Or just make it unblockable...with limited uses and that does standard helper damage....wich is probably the easiest way to add such a feature as telepathy..just isnt as interactive. The main idea behind this helper is to "force your will" unto your opponent...meaning...you control what side of the screen you will be playing on "most" of the time by bullying your opponent to the side of the ring you want them on...and to be able to do it more reliably. :) The summoner would just need to make sure he/she had some distance before summonming the helper...then "protect" them selves with a projectile...or block...or just be out of harms way in general in-order for them to truly reap the benifits of the helper. Blanka is weak when in regular fighting as opposed to something like Dr. Doom. However, rarely are helpers used on the offensive (except for guys who like to waste their Guiles... like me). What I meant was that helpers like Blanka are much too useful for breaking supers. Currently, there are 4 characters who can bypass blanka by using air supers (Spiderman, sybiote spiderman, ryu, evil ryu). However, if you so happen to chose Cyclops, Chun li, Wolverine, or Sentinel, 7 of your hypers can be flicked away before they produce hardly any damage at all. This is particullarly annoying since it usually requires a fair amount of skill to win the extra round that forces your opponent to waste their blankas in the 2nd round, giving you a somewhat even match in the 3rd (assuming you get any helper besides blanka). If you get paired up with venom, spiral, or guile... you can't so much as break one of their supers unless you're really good on your timing. If you get psylocke, juggernaught, hulk, captain america, sakura, or shuma-gorath... it depends on how fast you hit it and whether you're frozen or not at the time. Most have a good shot at hitting a character in the air. Dr. Doom is wild since he depends on proximity to your opponent and not height or speed. So yes... if you're not planning on having to fight against an opponent who uses supers, then blanka really isn't all that much. But seeing as anyone who's been here for a week knows how to and does use supers... I think it's a pretty safe assumption that blanka is easily the best choice for super breaking. And not very damaging but nearly unblockable would be a good thing? That's insane... helpers should get you out of rough spots, not be your prodominant opening for an offensive. Anyways.. I think the helpers should be kept the way they are. What I liked back in the day was when if you fired a hadoken it would go through the special and hit the opponent. |
I think we should keep the helpers as it is bacause, already we have just about 10 helpers and there will not be any other fightin players to fight with. So I sugguest not to add any more helpers. Its kinda not fair to me in a way because we only have 6-7 characters and 10 helpers...Maybe we can leave it the way it is now.. but of course add more characters in.. ???

Hum, how about a helper that duplicates the character for like 5 seconds A helper that would freeze the other character A helper that would add 1 level to the level bar A helper that would make U vulneralble to attack for 5 seconds(like Doom but without the opponent getting it) How Bout Dhalsim doin his fire super Bison doin his spinning super across the screen Blackheart doin his black lighting or whatever the name of the attack is....... Thanos throwing a rock across the screen hum............. well those ideas are dumb I know but hey I tried...........I hope at least some people will like at least one of them :laugh: |
When you play against someone good, it becomes much harder to hit them with a hyper move. But when you actually do connect with one and a helper like blanka comes out and stops you, you get rather mad or frustrated or both. You shouldn't be able to stop a hyper move with a helper, I just don't think it's fair. Also, the number of helpers needs to be adjusted. Some have too many, some have too few. It also sucks when you get spiral and your opponent gets Blanka. Spiral doesn't help too much when you're nailed with a hyper while Blanka helps a LOT. Helpers are a huge random factor in the game that I personally don't like very much. It would make more sense for a helper to actually be your partner jumping out and helping you. That would require much more strategy because doing so could often be risky. Basically, have it like Marvel vs Capcom.

I have an idea...why not make it so that a helpers can counter each other? That would be interesting...all though I don't think you could counter a helper that would be trying to disrupt your hyper.

You people are saying like Marvel vs Capcom when in Marvel vs Capcom you could stop the helper thus while using a helper during a special the helper would be usless.
Why don't you make a helper that adds hits so like its a reflection of you or make you faster and all that other stuff. |
Spiral should make you teleport airborne so you can't posslibly get hit :)
And another thing, Zangief should be a helper, since they cut him out of the game and replaced his spot with Akuma. |
