The two warrior was looking at each other to know who will move the first.
Drake*"Are you afraid little girl?? You're all alone now, just you and me"
Angela*"I won't hold myself, so be prepared."
Drake*"So brave, I like your style. To bad that you have to die. Now lets fight"

On this words, Drake jump on Angela. Angela move fast and block the attack. Using the wing on her rod, she fly over the head of Drake and land on his shoulder. She squeeze Drake's head with her legs and make a 180 to break his neck. Angela land on the floor and was surprise to see Drake's moving again.

Drake*"I'm already dead lady so this attack won't kill me understand?"
Angela look the scene and was terrified, Drake take his head and put it back. Welf was looking at Angela and try to not listen his heart.
Welf*"She can't win, why she put herself into trouble like this?
I hate to say that but I have to do something for her."
Welf concentred himself and create copy ok Angela.

Drake*"What are you trying to do Welf? You know that your trick don't work on me!!!
Welf*"I'm not trying to trick you Drake!!!
Suddenly, Drake was transform into Angela and all the soldiers were confused. Some of them start to attack Drake thinking that was Angela.

Drake*"Stop hitting me stupids."
Welf*"Come on gang, lets run."

All of the party start to run away.
Gabriel*"What are we doing now??"
Welf*"Run away from him, we are not powerfull enough to beat him."

After a short time, the illusion stop.
Drake*"Damn Welf, after them. I want them alive. You'll die by my hand traitor.

Welf, "Now, RUN!"

The group began to run while Jace and Gabriel were clearing a path through the hord of men. They headed for the inner parts of the forest. The bounty hunters, however, did not desist from persuing the foursome. The group ran and hid, ran and hid, but they began to grow weary.

Angela, "I can't keep going for much longer."
Welf, "Me neither! We've been running forever!"

They stopped.

Gabriel, "Welf . . . could you make it look like there are trees surrounding us?"
Jace, "Indeed, they certanly would not be able to cath us . . ."
Welf, "If they can't see us . . . Alright! I'll shroud is in thick trees and tall bushes!"

Welf bent over, and his arms were crossed. He seemed to be concetrating very hard. After a moment, he threw his hands up in the air and the illusion was created. Soon enough, the bounty hunters ran right past the bundle of trees, bushes, and tall grass without seeing the escapees.

[As the group hid under the illussion Welf created, night began to fall and the enemy soldiers retreated to find food and a place to sleep]

Gabriel: " is everyone okay?"

Angela: " yes we are fine....." *shivers* "to bad these trees are only an illusion"

Welf: "here human" *passes Angela his cloak* "maybe that will shut your mouth"

Angela: "thanx Welf" *covers herself in his coat"

Welf: "Gosh twas nothing o^_^o"

[Gabriel watches how Welf looks at Angela]

Garbriel: {can it be? a lesser demon and a human?}
"hmmmm" {i think Welf is attracted to Angela =\}

Gabriel: "HEY ANGELA I THINK WELF LIKES (ummmph*!!!!!"

Welf: *covers Gabriels mouth*

Welf: "shut up, that cloak was making me too warm anyway"

Jace: " LOL you guys are a riot"

[later as the group settles in to take a rest Angela decides to stand guard while the others sleep]

Gabriel: " nice night huh"

Angela: *gasp* " you startled me "

Gabriel: " im sorry, its just the stars are beautiful right?"

Angela:" yes very beautiful..........hey ummm Gabriel can i ask you something?"

Gabriel:" yes"

Angela: " for someone who is always so cheerful, how come you look so depressed and gloomy all of the time?"

Gabriel: " i dont know, i havnt noticed...... i guess i wont be happy until i rescue my mother from Kalidor"

Angela: " oh i see, so thats why you kept refusing to run away from the battle?"

Gabriel: " yes, i wouldnt want my mother to have to wait another second imprisoned in Kalidors castle."

Angela: " so you believe that she is still alive?"

Gabriel: " i dont really know, but my life is a small price t pay to find out."

Welf: " YAP YAP YAP, is that all you girls do?

Angela/Gabriel: "shut up and go back to sleep"

Welf: " fine, just keep it down.....*mumbles*stupid humans -_-"


Angela: " well Gabriel you had better get some sleep, we have a long way to go before we reach Gilgitesh......"

Jace: " Yes Angela is right"

Gabrie:" doesnt anybody sleep around here?!!!!?"

Jace:" well a true warrior is always ready and besides its almost time for me to take over guarding our location ^_^... but anyways I suggest we make a stop in the towm of "RIM ELM" in the morning..there is a map maker there who is an old friend of mine, im sure he will help us out in anyway he can.

Gabriel:" Great....RIM ELM here we come"

((during that night..))

Angela turned on her back, and pulled the cloak Welf gave her a little closer to herself. She was gazing through the branches of the trees above, into the now starry night sky, and was lost in hopes and wonders. She watched the wind sway the trees in a symphonic way, and loosened her grip on the cloak to allow her hair to fly with the wind. A few locks of hair flew past her nose, and touched her cheek gently. She then looked to see how Jace was doing in his turn of watching over the group, and noticed that he was asleep. Smiling, she got up quietly, placed the cloak down over a long, slender rock, and snuck off into the forest.

She ventured deeper into the forest, but not too far from the group. She ventured just far enough to enable a small echo screen between herself and them to take effect. Stopping to climb up a large oak tree, she climbed to the top, and sat on the tallest branch. She looked once more into the night sky as the wind blew through her hair once more, and she looked around to see whether anyone was watching her or not. Taking into her mind that no one was there, she held herself against the strong, cold winds that made her hair flow like silk that cut into the speckled black all around her.

She opened her mouth, and began to sing the song that she had yearned to hear once more. The song brought a few tears to her eyes, and she let them drop, past the leaves, and onto the cold, hard ground. As she sung, many memories passed through her mind, and the tone of her voice became sweeter still. As she sung the song, animals were becoming drawn to the voice that rang softly into the night, and some stars even seemed to twinkle just a little bit brighter; and when the song was finished... Angela closed her eyes and held herself once more, and thought of the one who used to sing this song to her when she was little. She walked back to the campsite ever quietly and swiftly, so she could hold her memories forever in secret.

Welf made it back to the campsite before Angela did.

WELF was there, looking at ANGELA.
he couldn't really understand why he was acting or even feeling that way.
after his mother died. he never loved anyone again. his father was such a brute and didn't even cared for WELF.
WELF was wondering about what to do. he came back to the site, leaving ANGELA behind him.
he looked at JACE and seeng how he was asleep.
he sat on a rock near by. closed his eyes and waited for angela to come back !

WELF(soft voice):"gotta stop thinking of her !"
Angela came by, seeing that everyone were asleep. she decided to get some rest too.
she picked the last spot, and falled asleep.

*welf smelled the place*
WELF:"all sleeping deep. now's my time !"
*welf took out a bottle of his bag*
WELF:"i'll redo that one, just to see her face when she'll wake up !"

*WELF openned the bottle and placed it in the middle of the camp.*
smoke came out of it, the place filled itself with it very quickly.
everyone felled deeply asleep.
*welf un-clothed GABRIEL who didn't even woke when he moved her.*
tho welf didn'T want to completely make her be nude in the middle of the forest. he let her kept the minimum !
welf then placed her close to JACE.
*he did the same for jace*
same for JACE, he didn't was completey naked, but wasn't far from it.

*Welf recapsuled the now empty bottle. putted it into his bag.*
*he then took some CRYTALS*
there was two of them. he placed one on JACE forehead. the other one he placed on GABRIEL's forehead.
WELF*pointing the crytals with both hands palm open toward the crytals*:"let the dreams be your guide to the world of love !"
at that moment both GABRIEL and JACE started to DREAM of each other. it started as them talking in the forest while JACE was on looking around. then talks became even more exciting. loved bloomed during these exchange of words.after so much speaking, both wanted to live their love to the maximum. so they removed their clothes. and did it. as the dream was fading away into nothingness.

everyone were waking up slowly.
GABRIEL and JACE had smiles on their face, until they openned their eyes.

WELF was on a tree near by watching in the distance, in case someone was coming near the gang.
about an hour passed since everyone fell asleep, still they are sure to have slept more then 6 hours. they are all feeling well !

ANGELA woke up in a different bed that she slept in. someone created a bed made of branches and leaves... they also made her some soft PILLOW. she was wondering !

WELF:"HAVE SLEPT WELL ?"
WELF yelled from the tree he was in.

[Welf hears Gabriels screaming and jumps from the tree to answer]

Welf: *picks up some of Gabriels cloths ad tosses them to her* "whats wrong with you"

Gabriel: " dubya tee eff just happened?"

Welf wispers: " hey what you do in your sleep is none of my business"

Gabriel: {was it a dream? it all seemed so real}

Welf :" well itseems you and Jace had a good time last night"

Gabriel: " GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR please tell me this isnt happeneing"

Welf: "perhaps you had a bit too much to dring again, hmmmmmm?"

Gabriel: *smacks Welf on his neck*
"I DIDNT HAVE ANY DRINKS YOU MORON"

Angela: *yawnz* " Gabriel are you trying to wake th whole forest?*


Gabriel: "im sorry for being so loud, everyone......"

[Gabriel looks in Jaces direction, silently the star at each other, then they both look away]

Jace:*clears throat* " well we had better get moving, Rim Elm is a few miles out of the forest...besides im sure those soldiers have finished regrouping by now"

Angela: "great once we get to town i can make you all some of my world famous strawberry shortcake"

Gabriel/Welf : *look at each other*

Welf: " did she say what i think she did?"

Gabriel: " ca ca ca cake?" *drools*.........

Jace: "yea she did"

Gabriel: " i havnt eaten anything good in soooooo long...the food at the inn was disgusting and most of the berries in this forest look inedible..
*reaches into her pokets* "aww im short on time, i left most of it at the inn while we ran from the soldiers -_-*"

Angela: " well we shall worry about that after we get to town ^_^, dont worry"

[Welf drops his illusion as the group head deeper into the forest...After walking for what seems an eternity the group sees thats someone has set up a small camp site in the wilderness near where they were hiding out]

Angela: *walks up to a small tent in the camp site*
"hello.....is anyone in there?"

[as she turns to face the group a large 10 foot tall man rises from the rinky little tent]

Jace: " Angela...behind you!"

[the large man grabs Angela by the arm]

Gabriel: "hey you, what do you want with us?

Welf: " hey big guy, you had better let her go now!!!!"

Large man: " Me am Oloth, Me am sorry for me rudeness but which of you be Gabriel?"

Gabriel: " i am"

Oloth:" hah little girl with big bounty on her head? hahahahahahah......*lets go of Angela*
*draws a huge club from his back*

Oloth: " any last words before Oloth collect bounty?"

Openning his eyes, Jace returned to the world of reality. He sat up and wondered about the previous night.
Jace, "What happened? Gabriel . . . But . . . my dream . . ."

Jace looked at Gabriel who was staring at him. He cleared his throught.

Jace, "We should leave now. For Rim Elm. It is East of here."

He stood up, walked to where his clothes were, put them on, and started walking ahead of the group. His light footsteps made almost no sound against the tall forest grass. He couldn't stop thinking about what had happened that night.

Jace, "What happened last night? I don't understand how that could have happened . . . Could it have been a dr-"

He stopped right in his tracks.

Jace, "I didn't have my dream! I've had it since I can remember . . . every night . . . but tonight. But how can that be? Was it an Illusion? Illusion . . ."

His eyes widenned.

Jace, "Welf, Welf, Welf . . . So, he must have done the same thing to Gabriel at the Inn! With the Inn-Keeper! I knew something was seriously messed up with that."

The group was slowly catching up to Were Jace was standing.

Jace, "Should I let her know? Or should I humour Welf a little bit . . . Well, it's not my problem. Nothing happened, so there's no point in telling anybody about nothing."

The threesome was still a few feet behind Jace.

Angela, "You left ahead of us! We had to pack up quickly and hurry to get back with you!"

Jace, "Indeed."

Jace continued walking, slightly ahead of the rest.
Hours have passed, but still the group continued walking. They came up to a small settlement. Jace immediately stopped walking. Welf also paused right beside him as Gabriel slowly continued to walk. Angela, however, walked right up to the tent.

Angela, "Hello? Is anyone in there? . . . Awell."

She turned around to look at the group once more. She was just about to say something when Jace interrupted.

Jace, "Angela! Behind you!"

Angela turned around to see the giant of a man who stood before her. He asked for Gabriel, then drew his club.

Oloth, "Any last words?"

Gabriel, "Yeah . . . I hope you like pain! Dust Tornado!"

[OOC] Hmm . . . I didn't really progress the story much, did I? Awell, when I was writing this, I totally forgot aboot Oloth. So, I quickly put a little bit down. ANd plus, it's late and I don't feel like typing anymore o.o[/OOC]

[From Kalidor's castle]

Kalidor:"You have failed"
Drake:"If your stupids soldiers can't do the difference between me and a little girl it's not my fault"
Kalidor:"Don't talk to me like that filthy demon or I'll reduce you to dust"

Kalidor:"I'll give you another chance, but this time don't disappoint me. Now take Raven and go."

*Drake leave the room and jump on the back of a giant eagle. The animal is the only thing that Drake as kept from his human life. His old buddy of the time he was fighting the demons for the sake of humanity. Now Simon Drake the paladin is dead, only the cold hearth demon is left. Seeking revenge against the gods how cursed him.

Drake:"Be prepared freaks, I'm coming!!!"

while eveyrone was going away form the site they were in, WELF ran back and took back the two crystals he had forgotten their.
WELF:"phew, i'm glad they didn't found them out !"
*puts them back in the bag*
*ran toward the group again*
pushing himself on ANGELA's side. he looked at her who looked back at him, they were rapidly joining JACE who was in fornt of them.

at this moment things were going fast in WELFs head.
they all saw the tent, he looked around for a second and the next thing he saw when he looked at ANGELA again, she was grabed by a GIANT MAN !

Welf: "hey TWIRP, let her go if ya wanna live any longer !!!!!"
the giant talked, but all WELF was putting all his attention at ANGELA.

as things were going fast around him, time kinda slowed down for him. he was seeing angela in trouble and he couldn't bare seeing that !

the giant let ANGELA go.
WELF ran to her side and looked at the monster receiving a dust tornado.
welf and ANGELA got out of the way. the fight began between GABRIEL and the monster.

WELF looked at ANGELA and said...
WELF:"let's get outta here now !"
*he took her by the arm*
he ran in the wood, ANGELA had no choice but to follow considering she was barely touching ground. but once she did she broke free from WELFs grasp. she was mad at him, she was looking at him with very mean eyes.

ANGELA:"how dare you grab me like that ?"
WELF:"i just want you to be safe !"
ANGELA:"that's no reason !"
WELF:"HEY LISTEN GIRL THIS IS NO G.AME ! we can't fight that thing like that, he must be very strong !"
ANGELA:"I DON'T CARE !"
*angela and welf looked back at GABRIEL who was fighting oloth. they were some trees away*
ANGELA:"they need me ok ! i just can't let them down like that !"
WELF:"but why ? you don't even know them ! so what's it to you !"
ANGELA:"i just have to do it."
WELF:"its all that GIRLs fault if those monsters wants us. stay with me, no more danger if you stay with me !"
ANGELA:"we are all seek because a bounty has been issued for our head. we all have different reasons but were still wanted. its better to stay grouped then going on all alone !"

ANGELA:"glad to hear that, but they need me !"

welf didn't knew what to do... he just wanted to get away from trouble. it seemed like his fate was saying different. seeing ANGELA going to fight like that made him THINKS even deeper and felt a strange feeling that he never really had before !

he had FEAR, but not for him. he feared for ANGELA !
WELF:{what's this all about ? why do i feel like that for a human ? is this related to my HUMAN BLOOD ? why now, and not before ?}
too many questions to answer and so little time to think about it.
*he reached for his bag and took a potion out of it.*
WELF:"i'm doing it for her ! what the hell is this meaning ?"

WELF's muscles grew bigger, his yellow eyes compeltely turned RED. some starnge aura appearred around him. the aura was red too.
*welf looked at oloth and ran toward him.*
WELF:"ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHH HHHHHHHHHH !!!!!!!!!!!"
*everyones turned around to see where that came from.*
WELF:"YOU'RE MINE CREEP !!!!!!"

[OOC]ok, whoever makes the fight, WELF's potion made him go berserk. his strenght trippled. his speed doubled and his stamina doubled too ! one problem, he hits everything in his path ! the lenght of the effect is very long, so if the fight get off too fast, he's gonna hit everyone that is near him too !

for now his mind is set on OLOTH, so its him that he hits. but get oloth out of the equation and one of you or even all three are next ! understood ?

as for oloth, i don't consider him being easy to defeat. i'm considering WELF, in that state, being about the same as him. so don't think i'm gonna take him down alone ! even in berserk state, he really can't ![/OOC]

As Welf and the others begin to go at it with Ologh another figure waits watching in the shadows of the deep forest....*

in his bezerked state he attacks with newly spawned claws and ,miraculous new strength while Angela and Gabriel cast various spell at oloth but to no avail

Gabriel: "our spells arent having any effect on the brute!"
Angela: "he must some how be resistant to magic!"
as they speak Welf struggles with Oloth who even in his berzerked state is still storger by a slight margin and sends poor welf crashing into a pine tree*

Welf: "AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!! !!!" he roars as the pain only seems to be fueling his rage even more*
just as Oloth is advancing on the fallen Welf Jace leaps from behind and stabs him in the back with his sword*

Oloth: "argh!!! punny human! learn your place!" oloth beginns to roll wildly about on the ground in and attempt to smother Jace beneth him when this doesn't work he trys grabbing at him as Jace hold oon to the giants hair for dear life*

Angela: Gabrie shoot an arow at him!
Gabriel: I can't what if I hit Jace!?!??!
they they watch on unable to help hoping that Jace doesn't get himself killed*
Jace: now bleeding from various places* "take this beast!"

Jace purges his blade from the monsters back and in one fluent motion atmepts to end the battle with one final slash at Oloths throught* KLING!!!! the sound of his sword striking is heard for milesa round but is quickly absorbed by the deep forest... as Oloth falls to the ground. *

Jace:'did I get him? is he dead?' his asumtionsa re quickly proven wrong as the club in Oloths hand splits in two*

Oloth: Oloth may look not smart but oloth know how to defen oloth but now mad punny human broke Oloth favorite club!! OLOTH CRUSH YOU!!!
Jace trys to defend himself but is too slow to avoid Oloths punishing blow that sends him sailing to the forest floor*

Oloth: "forget bounty! Oloth kill you all!!!!!"
he begins to advance on the fallen warrior but is suddenly stopped frozen*
.......... he falls to the ground dead impailed on a tree*
Welf: "Uragh! Uragh!" beats his chest savagely*
Angela: thanks Welf!
Gabriel : Jace are you ok??
Jace: coughs up blood* " a little worse for wear but I'm alright." thanks for the help Welf, I'm surprised I though you'd have abandoned us for sure."

Welf: "argh urgggg sti...ll.... ne..ed...... kil...l
Angel: "Welf!?"
WElf: "ARUGHURAGH!!!!!!!" he beggins to advance on his friend still lost in rage*
just then a fleet of solidgers arrive on the seen*

Commander: "All of you surrender now and we will let you live a little longer or you can take your chances with that beast!!!!"

the watching person sees this as his cue to enter*

Person: "how about neither?"
Commander:" what who the hades are you!?
Person: "in a sence your worst nightmare"
Commander: are you with them? if you are surrender now or else!
Person: "I NEVER surrender!"
Commander: "fool! men slay whoever or whatever that is! I want its head!"
Person: "You DARE challenge the Great Shinagami? heh you're way in over you heads."
Solidgers: "KILL HIM!!!"
Shinagami withdraws a long black and sliverbladed chain scythe from his cloak and begind to spin it slowly then faster then faster and faster untill a great tornado swirls foward swallowing the solidgers and their comander flying them off into the sky*

Shinagami: he turns to Welf* "now for you big boy."

Welf: "ragh!!!" he charges at shinagami ready to mow him down like he did the giant.*

Gabriel: wait don't kill him!!!!
Shinagami: don't worry I won't. he gives her a reasuring smile before tossing some mysterious blue powder at Welf who gradually slows and falls to the ground asleep....

Welfs eyes turned back to bright yellow, his anger was gone. he returned to his normal state. as everyone saw him sleeping. a second later, he woke up !

WELF:"what the... did we defeated him ?"
Welf looked like he wasn't even knowing what had just hapenned !

Welf saw oloth laying on the ground, dead !
WELF:"did he hurted you ANGELA, i hope your ok !"

ANGELA:"you don't remember what happenned ?"

As Angela was wrapping Welf's wounds and cuts, she kept her thoughts on the battle and how it may have ended if Welf did not return to normal. She imagined herself and the others being killed, one by one, by a savage, twisted, and killer Welf. She shoved those thoughts out of her mind: she should not be thinking about that while tending to someones injuries. She looked at each bruise and patch of swollen skin with a bit of remorse, as she placed some stinging liquid onto each one. Welf stirred uneasily.

Welf: "I don't need your help to heal!"
Angela: "Oh, stop it, and hold still.."
Welf: "Would you stop it, I'm fi---OW!"
Angela: "See?! I told you to stop moving! Now look what happened.... oh.."

Angela proceeded to get another bit of bandage from her supplies, but she could not find any. Instead, she took one of her ribbons out, and wrapped it around Welfs re-opened wound. He continuously stared at her as she wrapped it around him, and didn't notice that he was starting to go into a trance like state. Unfortunately for him, Angela realized this when she looked up to see if he was wincing or not. She saw the face that was aimed directly at her, and noticed that Welf was giving a deep-thought look, rather than anything else.

Angela: "...Is something wrong?"
Welf: "uh....huh? What? Oh, no, nothing at all. Nothing at all..."
Angela: "...Well, alright then." She got up. "If your wounds open up again, tell me.. and I'll be watching you!"
Welf: "Whatever.."

Angela got up and looked at Jace, Gabriel, Welf, and Shinagami. All of them were conversing, about what she could not tell. They seemed happy though, and that is all that mattered to her at that point. Seeing them all talk, with small bandages on their cuts, and their bruises wrapped with ointmented bandages made her feel somewhat rapturous. However, she knew that eventually it would end, and that they would be traveling again, once more, and who knew whether they were going to stay together the entire way. She certainly did not know the answer to that question, and she decided not to push on the subject. She walked over to a shady spot in a flower bed nearby a stream, and lay back to look into the sky. Sky, vast with many oddly shaped clouds that could be bent into many things in someones imagination, and a few birds flying around gleefully.

She turned on her side and decided to take a small nap, while laying inside the flowers. She dreamed during that nap, and dreamt of many things, including her past battle with Oloth. She saw herself standing by the sidelines, helpless, watching everyone fight with everything that they had. They attacked with abilities that she had never seen before, and she realized that she had nothing to give to that. But she wanted to help! She wanted to do whatever she could to help them out. She never realized it, but she didn't want to be alone anymore, and she definitely did not want to watch like a small child from behind. She ran into the battle just as Welf was thrown through a tree.

She wanted to heal Welf at that point. She didn't care how, she just wanted to heal him, because it seemed like it hurt very much, and pain was something she did not mix very well with. She then began emitting bright white lights that flew all over the place from herself. A few of them touched Welfs wounds, and she was amazed to see the wounds heal fast. She just didn't know how any of it happened. Welfs mouth opened up, as if he were about to say something, but then..

"Angela! ANGELA, wake up!"
Angela: "What?! What's happening?!"
Jace: "You were glowing just a second ago! I thought something happened!"
Angela: "What do you mean glowing?"
Jace: "Well, you were showing off this strange, and eerie white light. Then you started throwing out little bundles of light at us."
Angela: "But.. I... I did not hurt you did I?"
Jace: "No... in fact, I think you've healed me!"
Angela: "What?"
Jace: "Let me explain..."

[ooc] And so Jace begins to explain to Angela what he mean by that. Of course, we're being literal. She can heal now, but keep in mind that she will throw out the light randomly sometimes, and that she's not that experienced yet. ^-^ In any case.. g'night everybody. [/ooc]

*welf took a look around*
welf saw JACE talking to ANGELA, he also saw GABRIEL conversing with the STRANGER. he looked at everyone and started to ask himself a lot of questions. why am i with them ? why am i caring for that girl and not for the others ?why do i follow her around ? why can't i play any pranks on her ?

WELF:"{i need to go. let her go...}
*welf started to move, but stopped as soon as he made a step*
WELF:{i just can't let her alone like that. but why am i having those feelings toward her ?}
*welf looked at angela's eyes.*
*WELF closed his eyes*
WELF:{Mother ! why did you had to leave me like that ? why did you abandonned me ?}
*welf openned his eyes and take a good long look at ANGELA*
WELF:{Being with you remembers me my mother. its too hurting me. i can't take it anymore... FAREWELL milady ! may you live a long life.}
*Welf turned his back and left the place*
Welf walked in between the trees, Tears were flowing from his eyes to the floor. he made sure not to be seen or followed by the others. he walked toward Rim Elm, it was only a few miles away and since it was the only town near by. he had no choice. but going right now, while others were still taking the break, would give him a long lead. RIM ELM was a small town, but it was a comercial town. so lots of merchant would be running thru it. then he could get on one caravan and go away from all troubles.

[ Little they knew what was waiting for them at RIM ELM. but their lives, was about to change... FOREVER ! ]

"....And that's how you can use that magic. Get it now?"
Angela: "Um... sort of, I guess...."

Angela had just listened to a winding explanation from Jace about the use of magic. She spent the entire time listening to what he said; yet the only useful things that came to her were the phrases "Magic comes from your soul, and can only obtained by you when you are ready both mentally and physically." and "You can use the magic by summoning your feelings, I suppose..". Other than that, he literally trailed off into a rather complex subject that had to do with three socks and a block of cheese. Angela yawned, and looked around the area, trying to see if everyone was alright still, and hoping to find some diversion to take her away from Jace. She saw Gabriel talking to Shinagami, and a few trees and bushes all around. But other than that, there was nothing too special. In fact, there wasn't anything different from the scenery except for those two, and Angela realized that Welf had left the area. She got up abruptly, spooking Jace a little bit, and ran up into the middle of the entire area. She looked around.

Angela: "Have you guys seen Welf?"
Gabriel: "Um... last I saw, he was going into the forest."
Shinagami: "Why?"
Angela: "He could be in trouble, guys! We'd better get to him fast!"
Jace: "Well, since he left without any supplies, he'd have to go to the nearest town, which is Rim Elm. So we should probably head that way so---"
Angela: "Ok, let's go!"

Angela had all their supplies on her back, and she immediately rushed into the forest in a competitively fast pace. Everyone trailed behind her, conserving their energy and keeping up at the same time. She was hopping passed a few higher branches, and running through the soft bushes; yet, it wasn't long before she became over-tired, and she fell down to rest. The strain placed on her was just a little too much, even though she wasn't carrying much at all: A few logs for a fire, a few pieces of dried meat from Oloth's camp, her wand, a few spare pieces of clothing, and a few flowers she had picked to give to Welf in order to cheer him up. She sat on the ground, and watched as the others stared at her in a confused manner. Finally rested up, Angel moved on and took her portion of the items as suggested (by Shinagami). Holding her flowers, wand, and some spare clothes, she moved on with Jace and the others through the forest, which showed off many beautiful rays of light shooting through the leaves adding lovely decoration to the brown dirt, and green grass. They finally reached it, and when they did, it was a somewhat strange sight. There were many oddly clothed people hustling and bustling all over the place, and all that could be seen were crowded merchant stands. As they entered, Angela took a moment to put Welf's cloak over her once again, and covered her eyes and face in darkness.

Angela: "Guys, I'm going to search for Welf, ok?"
Jace: "Alright, but what's with the cloak?"
Angela: "Oh! It's just...um...."
Gabriel: "Yes....?"
Angela: ".....Sorry, gotta go, bye!"

And with that, she ran into the town to look for Welf leaving the rest of them utterly confused and alone....

*Welf finally arrived at the city name Rim Elm.*

Welf:"Well finaly, this city is not like I was thinking. Where are everyone???"
*The streets were deserted. Suddenly, Welf heard something from a house. He read on the door /Tavern of the Red Dragon/. He push the door and go staight to the bar. The bar was full of drunks who were singing and dancing. The only man who was on his feet was the barman.*

Barman:"What can I do for you my friend???"
Welf:"Can you tell me where I can find a boat?"
Barman:" What is your destination my friend?"
Welf:" Far away from here where I can found peace and stop calling me your friend."
Barman:"Well there's no departure today but in two day perhaps."
Welf:"Great, do you have a room for me?"
Barman:"Sorry my friend but they're all occupied. Have a seat and tell me what's bring you here."
Welf:"It's not of your business, I'm just a stranger who want to get out of this mess."
Barman:"I wish you luck Welf cause you'll never succeed in your quest."
Welf:"How did you know my name???"

*The barman was starting to change into a sort of bipedal creature with grey skin. His eyes were yellow and glowing in the dark.

Welf:"A Doppleganger I should have known."

*WELF tryed to get out of the bar, but the men's where blocking the exit !*

Welf:"Let me guess, Kalidor's minions?"
Drake:"You"ll always make me laugh Welf."
Welf:"Drake, now what are you doing here."
Drake:"Hey what do you think? I want you dead remember. But this time I won't do the same mistake. Come on Welf, now this time you'll fight like the demon you are."
Welf:"Seems I don't have the choice. But sorry, I don't have any weapon.
Drake:"It doesn't matter, I can fight you with my bare hands.

*Drake and Welf fight each other with only one goal in mind: kill or be killed!!!*

Drake:"Everybody out, I want to be alone with him. Guard the outside, I don't want to be disturb."

*Drake's guards obey and get out. Now, they were all alone, fighting each other to death. The tables and the chairs became weapons in their hands.*

Welf:"Why are you working for Kalidor? You can be like me, living on your own.
Drake:"You know that I'm fighting only for the taste of blood. All I want now it's to kill you and someone is paying me for. How I can refused?

*The fight continue and finally end. Welf was tired and let himself fall on the ground.*

Drake:"Well, you're not a tough warrior. But I'll take my price, you're mine."
Welf:"Just a sec... "
Drake:"What??? Do you want us to wait for your little girl friend?"
Welf:"What are you talking about?"
Drake:"As has we speak, she's heading right here. So what do you think?"
Welf:"Take me to Kalidor but let her go. I'll do whatever you want."
Drake:"Well well well, ok if you want but don't think that I'll let her go next time."

*Drake takes Welf and put him on the back of his Giant eagle. Order him to bring Welf to Kalidor.*

Drake:"Leave a message for the rest of the party. I'm not finish with them yet...

?:{hmmm, RICHARD, what kind of mess did you put yourself into now ?}
*the black cloaked creature enters the bar*
[soldiers started to look at the entering creature and one of them tryed to look better then others.]
SOLDIER:"go away, the bar is closed !"
?:"is this a way to speak to a superior ?"
[knowing the voice, drake turned around to face the soldier]
DRAKE:"SHUT UP !"
*drake turn again but to face the creature*
DRAKE:"what are you doing here ?"
?:"Kalidor sent my unit to destroy this town and all its inhabitant. i came to tell you that you have only 16 hours left before i obey to that order. you better catch those brats before the delay is over !"
DRAKE:"i know my job demon, don't get in my way !"
?:"oh i will leave you alone, but if you didn't get them in time and you are still here in 16 hours, this town will be destroyed along with everyone who isn't in my unit ! that includes you and your pathetic soldiers !"
*and the creatures walks out of the bar*

?:"once my job is over RICHARD, i'm getting you out of there. just hold on to your life for a day !"

Running desperately through the town, passing by all the poor beggars and housewives, Angela made continued her strained search to find Welf. She didn't bother to ask around: she doubted that Welf would make his very presence known to the towns-people, and even if he did, there would be pandemonium anyway. She looked around for something, anything that would tell her where he could be. The minutes went by, yet there was no way of telling how many "ticks" and "tocks" had passed while the search went on in vain.

The sun was high in the sky still, and the town showed off many sparkles and pillars of pure, warm sunlight. Yet, it all felt cold to Angela: She could not feel much of anything, eckept for anxiety about Welfs current state. Eventually, after passing by many houses, a town building, a large library, and a row of merchant tents, Angela found an inn. She went inside to rest, and saw nothing too peculiar (though, it was mostly because she entered, and went straight into the rest area). She left nothing hidden to the outer world at this point, and was subject to many pointing fingers, accusatory voices, and a snicker here and there. Ignoring it, Angela began thinking of where Welf could be. The time passed by: seconds turned to minutes... and the minutes turned into an hour. The entire area was now very quiet, and boring; yet Angela could not think well: she had no idea where Welf could be...

Then suddenly, another personentered the area, and was showing off an amazing sense of darkness. Angela shivered at the feel as the person passed by; yet, the person slowed down, and stopped when they noticed it. The person was draped in a large cloak, and everything else looked like a shadow. The person was vaguely familiar to Angela...

"....YOU!"

The person wearing the cloak withdrew a sword from underneath her cloak, and it slashed through the table (luckily, Angela dodged). Angela watched sadly as the table fell down in a pile of delicately chopped wood, and turned just in time to see the cloaked person take off their cloak. It was a girl, with long, green hair that went into a ponytail, browneyes, and just the same skin color as Angela. In fact, she was wearing the same outfit, save that it was a different color. She was looking at Angela coldness, and she held her sword in her sheath, ready to draw and slash at the time that she chose. Angela held her rod close to her as well.

Angela: "...Wh....Who are you?"
...: "After all these years, you don't remember the person who has been haunting you for the longest time?!"
Angela: "What are you talking about?--Why won't you tell me who you are?!"
...: *shakes her finger, and smirks a dark smirk* "You shouldn't forget your 'Blessed Fwendy', Angela.."
There was only one person in the entire world that would ever call her that, and would call herself that... in fact, only Angela would be naiive enough to make such a nickname.
Angela: "..SANGE?!"
Sange: "Wow. Nothing gets passed you, huh, Angela."
Angela shivered in anger.
Angela: "What do you want with me? I already told you that I do not intend to go home until I solve that mystery!"
Sange: "I am here to take you home, friend."
Angela: "Then what do you want from me? I don't have time for long talks, Sange!"
Sange: "I'm here for your HEAD!"

Sange swang her sword heavily into the ground, in the area where Angela was previously standing until she jumped out of the way and began running for her life. She ran out of the inn doors, and into the streets, weaving in and out of the crowds, trying her very best to not get herself killed and to not let anyone get hurt. Sange was dashing after her, and was gaining on her, yet she slowed down because of all the people that came in her way. With each person, Sange hit them into unconsiousness with the sheath of her sword. However, Angela had to dash away as fast as possible, and weave around the crowd continuously, since she didn't have the heart to hit anyone, and she wanted to get away as fast as she could. Then, suddenly..

Angela bumped into someone.
"Hey! How dare you, you wench! Why, I'll..... heeeeyyyy...."
Angela looked up from the ground to see Drake standing right above her. Suddenly, amnesia took her thoughts away from Sange, and she felt herself persperate.
Drake: "Well, if it isn't the little spice girl. Angela, it has been a few days since I last tried to KILL you!"
Angela just blocked the slash.
Angela: "Now what do you want?! I don't have time for this..."

Angela hit Drakes weapon away, and rolled away from him and began to run. Then Drake said something that he would eventually regret.
Drake: "Don't you want to know where that little Lesser Demon is?"
Angela stopped. "What do you mean? Do you know where he is? What have you done with him!?"
Drake: "Shut up, and I'll tell you. You see, girlie, he is now with kalidor, and he is awaiting his death..."
Angela: "Why you.... WAAAAAAAGGHH!!"

Angela received a rude awakening when Sange appeared and hit her sword down into the ground, and crushed the ground as well. She missed by only a few millimeters. Angela suddenly got up, and began racing away as fast as possible, barely noticing that Sange and Drake were chasing her. As Sange noticed Drake was also after Angela, she started throwing punches, and started tripping him. Then, with a maniacal yell of "YOU'RE MINE!!", Drake slashed at Sange, and they both began fighting with their swords, trying to kill the other one, while still being able to kill the girl who was running from them, as if this were a site of cat and mouse. Angela was losing her ability to run: she could only run for so long, seeing as she never had to run so much. Angela was beginning to feel the fatigue..

...as angela was heavy breathing from all the running... she started to slow down, looking sometime behind her. the fight between SANGE and DRAKE got up a notch so they stopped completely and were fighting each other. as ANGELA looked forward again, she bumped into a cloaked creature, the creature was about 6 feet tall and very large. the figure couldn't be seen either, some kind of dark shadow was covering the creature's cloak ! angela took her rod to her chest to protect herself, she sensed the evilness of the creature. the creature stood there extending its arm toward her, she tryed to defend by hitting it with the rod, but the creature dodged and grabed angela by the neck, then squeezed it. angela couldn't get a hold of the creature, its hold was too strong for her. she felt unconscious, the creature placed her on his shoulder and held her there. then it disappeared in a near by street.

about 30 minutes later, angela's eyes opened... she was in a bulding a very old one, she stood up. holding her head which was hurting like hell. then she took closer look at the place. it was a ruin, an old abandonned INN. she started to walk toward the exit but then she stopped again...

ANGELA:"who are you ?"
?:"you don't need to know girl."
ANGELA:"you're a demon are you ?"
[angela could feel the creature's evilness]
?:"does it matter !"
ANGELA:"no it doesn't..."
*by saying that, she looked for her rod*
ANGELA:"where's my rod ? what did you do with it ?"
?:"you mean that little thing over there !"
*the creature pointed a drawer farther in the room and the rod was on it. as well as all other items she had on her*
*angela started to walk toward them*
?:"i wouldn't count on defeating a demon like myself, its no easy task for a pathetic human with no powers."
*angela stopped there...*
ANGELA:"you know me ?"
ANGELA:{he must work for kalidor, he seems to know me}
?:"let's stop this little talk show, let's get straight to the point. this town is gone in about 13 hours. if you really is a friend of RICHARD, you must know what hapenned to him !"
*angela was shocked by the TOWN news*
ANGELA:"what do you mean by GONE and who is this RICHARD ?"
?:"you must know only his last name. i am talking about your little friend called RICHARD WELF !"
ANGELA:"WELF ! what about him !"
?:"tho i hate humans like yourself, i have no choice but to ask for your help to save him from kalidor's castle !"
ANGELA:"what the hell, he got captured !"
?:"you're a fast learner, be glad he came in this town before you, cause all the gang would have falled into that trap !now you know where he is. go get him out of there if you care !"
*and ther creature turned his back on her walked away form the room*
ANGELA:"wait, why do you want me to do this. why don't you do it yourself ?"
*the creature stopped*
?:"an old friend cannot die like that, i cannot allow him to die !"
ANGELA:"old friend ?"
?:"i must go, seems like you got company, very dangerous ones !"
*the creature disappeared into the nearest corridor just when SANGE broke into the room*

Sange:"There you are!!! You can't run forever."
Angela:"Leave me alone, I've already told you."
Sange:"It doesn't matter, your head is my only concern."

[Sange slash at Angela but she dodge the attack. The two girls were fighting each other with all their strengh. Seeing a way to get out of this mess, Angela dodge Sange attack and run for the door. But the door open and Angela bump into Drake again.]

Drake:"Are you listening when someone is talking to you??? She's mine!!!"
Sange:"Mind your own business bone head"
Drake:"How dare you stupid girl..."
?:"Stop it Simon, don't hurt her"

[Drake suddenly stop moving. He seems to be paralysed by the voice. A beautiful woman appeared behind Angela.


?:"Don't you recognize me? Why are you hurting these people? You should be protecting them. Darling, try to remember!!!
Sange Angela:"DARLING???"
Drake:"Leave me alone you witch"

[Drake try to slash Angela but with the agility and speed of a cat, the woman took Angela on her back and get out of the building. They run for a long time to finaly get out of Rim Elm.]

Angela:"Thanks for the lift, but who are you anyway?"
?:"Sorry my name Maria and what is your name?"
Angela:"My name is Angela, can you tell me why you involve yourself in this and why you call this freak darling?
Maria:"Well, it's a little difficult but I'll try to be clear. The man you see in that building was my husband, Simon Drake. In the past he was a great warrior, fighting for god sake. One day he was in a mission, he was order to rescue peasant. I was one of them and when we see each other, we fall in love. A week have past, he tell to the priest that his love for me was to strong and that he want to built a family. The priest said that if he do this, he will burn in hell. Simon didn't listen to him and left. We live together for 6 month when that day arrived. It was a rainy day, I go to the village to buy food and Simon stay at home. When I came back, the house was destroyed. My husband was standing in front of the dust when I see him changing. His body metamorphose into this creature. Now he's calling himself Drake and kill for the taste of blood.
Angela:"That horible, what happen to him?"
Maria:"I don't know, I think it's a kind of punishement because he left the church for me."
Angela:"And why are you following him like that."
Maria:"Because I want him back, I love him and nothing will stop me."
Angela:"Well I think I will wait for the rest of the party. Beside, he is my only hope to find Welf."

*Welf looked around only to see rocky mountains everywhere around him.*
WELF:"well i guess its better then being in KALIDOR's palace !"
*Welf started to walk downward hoping to escape*
[but anything he was thinking of... weirdly for him, the only thing he could think of, was the safety of ANGELA, was she safe, was she scared, was she angry... how was she ?]
*Welf stopped walking then took out one of the two CRYSTALs he had used for JACE and GABRIEL in that forest... he placed it in his palm and covered it with the other hand, he then concentrated letting his thought fly away...*
[WELF now felt ANGELA's EMOTIONs...]
*WELF Stopped*
WELF:"She's... in trouble... ... ... DAMN IT !!!!!!!!!"
*welf ran down the mountain while placing the crystal back in his bag*
WELF:"i must find her nowbefore its too late !"

[BACK IN TOWN...]
*Drake still pursuing the others, he saw his GIANT EAGLE in the corner of his eye !*

Angela: "Maria, I'd like to help you bring Drake into his original state."
Maria: "I am greatful for your offer... but is that even possible?"
Angela: "I do not know... but anything is possible, right? Perhaps someday we can do it, and that day may very well be sometime soon if we can learn what we need to learn.."
Maria: "Then I can only hope that we can learn what we need to learn."
Angela: "I'll try my best..."

Angela looked past the trees and into the skies, and realized that it was getting darker. Her memory was kicking in as well, and she was remembering that Welf was still at Kalidor's castle, and that he could be in terrible danger at this moment. She turned to look at Maria.

Angela: "Maria, I've got to get my friend out of a little trouble.. I want you to stay here, and watch Drake. You need to be able to keep aneye on him if we're ever going to change him back."
Maria: "Agreed. Good luck, and be careful."
Angela: "Alright, take care!"

Angela ran off, into the forest, not knowing where exactly she was running to, but something told her to run that way. Maria watched as she ran off, and then disappeared in the trees to get back to Drake in order to watch over him. Sange was following Angela closely..

[During the night when the party was sleeping and Welf was up to his tricks]
In the woods was a Knight named Dante, who wore a ripped white cape and had a silver gauntlet on his left hand that had a white orb in it. He also carryed a long sword that had a blue aura flowing threw it. This was a sword made special to take out demons and if killed by it the demons soul will be sucked in the guantlet. Dante is also a summoner, he has the power to control and summon a demon called Thanatos the souls replenish the demons hp if he is hurt in battle. And if enough are collected the monster will evolve.


*Dante was running threw the night of the woods looking for a village where he could get more food. He was sitting on the log eating when he heard footsteps many of them. Grabing his sword he turned around to see 7 demon wolves the leader spoke out to him*

D.Wolf: " Whats this a human lol (or what seemed like a laugh) fresh meat is on the list boys.
*They started to move in on him

Dante *raising his sword* " So you wish to die quickly"

D.Wolf: " What? Foolish human do you not see we out number you.

*Dante grins raises his arm with the gauntlet, orb glowing white he slams his hand to the ground and thanatos appears like a ghost hovering in the air* Pic of Thanatos

*The wolfs seem to drawback of the sight of the blue demon then Thanatos disapears*

D. Wolf: "What! where it go??"

*Thanatos appears behind them swings his fist knocking 3 wolfs in the air and the wolfs were ignited with fire by the demon's blow.*
Dante: {Now is my chance}
*Dante rushes at the leader Demon wolf of the pack the wolf bieng distracted by his brothers bieng tossed in the air. Dante thrust his sword on the wolfs throat killing it.*

*The other wolfs flee seeing there leader slayed*

Dante "hmm they never learn, a guy cant get no rest around here"

*Dante raises his arm once more a blue aura came form the dead wolf and went in the gauntlet and so did the demon Thanatos.*Being summon back to his master

Dante then rested after the battle, he woke to a loud noise looking threw the woods, it had appear to be a tornado. And yelling he rushed to the scene. But when he got there all for him to see was 5 figures fleeing forom the scene, and guards spread out on the ground. And he turned seeing a gaint laid out to.

Dante "whoa! these guys must be tough but what would a demon be doing with 4 humans"

Dante soon started after the group to be lead to the village he planned on heading to.

Dante: {Whats this}
Drake: "Well, if it isn't the little spice girl. Angela, it has been a few days since I last tried to KILL you!"
Dante: { hey that's one of the people I saw run out of the woods.} Dante was lookin at the blue haired girl
Angela: "Now what do you want?! I don't have time for this..."
Drake: "Don't you want to know where that little Lesser Demon is?"
Dante: {Lesser Demon? He must be talking about the one I saw with the humans.}
Angela: "What do you mean? Do you know where he is? What have you done with him!?"

Just then a green haired girl flew from the crowd and swung a big sword at the blue hair girl by the name of Angela. The white faced tall man pulled her away they then started to exchange words then fought. Angela ran off away from them Dante followed but kept his distance.

Dante then saw Angela bump into a tall black hooded figure he reached out and started to strangle her.
*Dante rushed trying to get to the crowed but by the time he made it threy were both were gone*

[ooc] Sorry I didnt describe Dante but he is a average hieght guy with black short hair, very series and does not play around. And is a Knight from a far away kingdom, he is Brave and never turns down a fight and always seems to find himself out numbered but then he summons out his buddy Thanatos. Thanatos not like FinalFantsy monster he can stay out and float near Dante following him and Dante can give him orders to attack whom or let him freestyle and attack any thing in its way. When Dante has enough souls he can realse Thanatos speacial he slows down time and sends out homing beams to the enemy. [/ooc]

[OOC]well, yeah, glad to see someone coming into this story... hope ya don't quit before me :p and roll, its just that i don't really understand a part of your post... going into the forest, i know you meant that she kinda just knew where WELF was, but then again, if she is in the wood, she is far from him which is on a mountain ![/OOC]

WELF:"if i remember right, i must go down this mountain and then into the forest, and the village should be just after it !"

*WELF ran down the mountain seeing so many BIG birds flying high around him*

[as welf ran past a certain cave entrance, he heard a big noisy sound. what was weird was that it didn't came form the cave, but from the outside of it instead. he jumped behind a rock and started to look around, until well aside the side of the mountain, there was a very large giant sleeping there.]

WELF:{damn, i just hope i can get past him without waking him up ! }
*WELF started to walk very slowly trying to get pass the other side of the GIANTs position !*
[when some high flying bird decided to come down screaming loudly]
*WELF looked above*
WELF:{just my luck, why is this always hapenning to me ? }
*WELF jumped on the floor trying to hide behind some very small rocks*
[which was the only place to hide. the giant had stopped snoring, it moarned and continued to sleep. the bird had change direction and got back into the sky]

GIANT:"where ya think you're going ?"

GIANT:"why do they always run like that ? hope it wasn't my breath who scared him !"

[ooc] I thought of a better thing for dante the demon's he kills with the sword the souls of the demon is sucked in the sword, and number of souls gained can increase the power of Dante's sword making it powerful. And if a demon is killed by Thanatos the gauntlet gains the soul power and making Thanatos stronger. Thanatos is not invincible he can be hurt and even overpowered (at his stage now) :D [/ooc]

*Dante twirls around looking to see any sign of the hooded figure and the girl*

Dante: "Damn"
Dante: {it must have gotten away with the girl}

Dante then remebered the pale faced man, and the green haried girl with the big sword.

*He turned and ran back to the spot where they were dueling*

Only the tall pale faced man stood there alone face down with a stern look upon his face, he seemed to be thinking hard.

Drake: {Damn I could have had the girl too, but that green haired tramp got in my way. She is lucky to have escape right when i was to finsh her off.}

It seemed that when Dante ran after Angela, Drake brought the green haired girl to her knee's but to Drakes surprise she backfliped from his swing. While in a backflip she flung 3 daggers all hiting him in the chest. Then she disappeared in the crowd. Drake showing no pain or effect from the dagger pulled them out.

Drake: "hmmm this toys are too much for her"
Drake: { Whoever she is;after Im done with Welf and his little friend I'll handle her myself }

*Drake walked of in the crowd and faded away*
*Dante still stooded there trying to think what was going on but he knew he had to be in it, for he never turns down a adventure.*

*stomach rumbles*
Dante: "Oh man im so hungry"
*holding his stomach*
Dante: {I need to find a Inn,to get some food and rest this can wait}

The brave knight heads threw the village, looking for a decent Inn to stay the night. He finds one looks to be a suit place to spend the night he thinks to himself.

*He enters the Inn*
INN KEEPER: "Yes can I help you"
Dante: "Yes you can I like a room please I"
INN KEEPER: "that will be 20gp"
*Dante tosses a coin on the table*
Dante: "Keep the change"
INN KEEPER: " alright sir I need you to sign here
*The inn keeper pulls out a old book and handed Dante a old worn out feather pin dipped in ink*
*Dante signs it*
Dante: " So what has been going on around here?"
INN KEEPER: "Nothing much there is word going on around here about a girl with a pretty fine price on her. A bunch of bounty hunters come here for rooms and food and beer they usually sit over there.
*the inn keeper pointed to a round table to the side of the room*
INN KEEPER: "All they do is bragg about the creature's they have caught and how they will be the first to cacth the girl"
Dante: "ummm what does this girl look like?"
*INN KEEPER rumbles around under the desk pulling out a flyer with WANTED in bold letters.*
INNKEEPER:" Here."

*Dante's eyes flash wide in shock*

--Sunset: 8 hours until Drake carries out his orders--

Angela continued to run through the vast forest trying her hardest to keep up the pace, so she could hopefully make it to the castle before they began torturing Welf, or worse, make him behave. Sadly, the idea of making him behave didn't make her run any faster, just perhaps slower. In any case, she was running through the vast forest, hopping over stumps, jumping over trees, and avoiding the many animals using their survival instincts to try and rip out her lungs. Sadly for the animals, she was getting pretty good at running away, so she avoided them without a problem (and she didn't know whether or not it was a good thing anymore).

The sky was turning into a deep, passionate red, and Angela was beginning to sweat. The time was passing through, and it was getting slightly warmer for some reason. It didn't matter though: She only felt panic, anger, fatigue, and...some excitement. She stopped to take a quick look around. She was a few, ten miles away from the town now, and she was starting to close in on a particularly big mountain. She couldn't see it very well, but it seemed that the town was still in no danger, so it seemed they would be fine for a little while longer. Hopefully, nothing bad would happen on the way to the castle and back to the town. She continued on towards the mountain, sure that it was the correct direction to go.


....--Sunset: 7 hours, 30 minutes left--

[ooc] I thought I'd put in a time limit, sort of, since one was already put in. Now it's just being enforced. ^ ^; We'd better hurry. [/ooc]

[ooc] 8 hours I guess Dante needs to get the 411 now! [/ooc]

The old inn is now fulled of men drinking rum cheering on and telling storys. You should know that these were the bounty hunters the innkeeper was telling Dante of. Our confused knight was sitting in the corner of the Inn still puzzled by the picture and is thinking of how he knew the girl.

Dante {that face that outfit, that body, were do I remeber seeing this}
Bounty hunter#1: " Today is the last night boys we have to clear out!
Bounty hunter#2: "What you mean james?
Bounty hunter#3: "Bruce do ya ever listen do ya, *takes a huge drink from his cup, then wipes his mouth with his sleeve* " The man they call Drake is clearing out this place
Bounty hunter#2: "OH! that strange fella with the cold looking face, yep yep I know what ya mean. But what bout that girl"
Bounty hunter#1: "They last saw them in the woods but the clumsy guards were easily fooled by her magic."
Bounter hunter#2: "what bout that demon fella with them james?"
*Bounty Hunter 1 and 3 burst out in full laughter*
Bounty Hunter#1: Hehehe that lesser demon aint nuttin we can take him. Tomorrow we head out to the mountains thats were I heard they headed. I asked around the village some people told me they saw them heading to the mountains. Well atleast 3 of them, the girl and 2 men that is. Lets get some rest boy's we set out at morning"
*The three men get up and leave up stairs to thier rooms*

Dante sits there alone in the room still sipping from his mug. He jumps up with a grin upon his face. And grabs his sword heading to the door stright towards the mountain.

Dante: {No time for rest got to get to that girl before they do, 2 guys and a lesser demon nothing my friend Thanatos cant handle}

*Dante looks down at his gauntlet patting it, then continues to prusue threw the woods.*

*the creature raises his hand toward the warrior*
[as DANTE was about to slash, he suddently stopped and placed his hand in front of him, trying not to get burn by the upcoming FIREBALL, upon contact the ball just knocked DANTE a few feets back, barely damaging his armor.]

DANTE:"never will i change my mind about all this !"
*DANTE rushed in again, slashing thru the cloaked creature*
*as the cloak gets on the ground*

Dante: {Cant this big brute just go away}
Dante: "This is as far as you go Branek!

*Dante runs forward and unleashes 5 quick swings of his sword*
*But Branek saw it coming and block all the hits with his hand*
*Dante face dropped in shock*
*Branek raised his arm and swung at Dante*
*Dante flew 5 feet in the air landed hard on his back and dropping his sword.

Branek: " I suggest you stay down human and turn back now!"
*Branek turns his back to Dante*
Dante: {lets fight fire with fire}
Dante: THANATOS ARISE!
*rasing his gauntlet the orb glowed blue and the Demon Thanatos appeared floating by his master*
*Branek turns back a little bit surprise to see Dante summon a powerful demon*
Branek: "I warned you! Now you and your pet must die!
*Branek slams his fist together they glow red with fire*

Dante slowly gets back to his feet with sword glowing blue in hand. As Branek steps closer to them with a mean look in his eyes, and beaming red eyes.

[ooc] Dante orb glows blue and Thanatos is under his control he will not attack unless Dante orders him to. Until then he just follows him around, wating for a command. And for whoever is going to do the next post. Dante is the main fighter Thanatos is more of a assistant, so Thanatos can not go one on one with Branek alone and win. [/ooc]

**Drake attitude change a lot since he turn into a undead but he kept his hability to speak with the animal**

Drake:"Back so soon, where's Welf? Did you bring him to Kalidor?"
Raven:"Sorry but someone interfered. I was taking a break when a creature attack me from behind. She knock me out and take Welf. When I woke up, I chased them into the mountains but I didn't find them."
Drake:"Can I trust someone in this whole world? What kind of creature was that?"
Raven:"It was some kind of a lycanthrope, half-human half-fox I think"
Drake:"The witch!!! I should have known. She put that bastard into a safe place when I was dealing with those girls. Nothing will stop her I'm afraid, except if I do something. Only 7 hours and 30 minutes left... They must be searching for each other. Raven, take me where you lost Welf. He should be on his way back to the village. Sorry my friend, but you can't hide your feeling. You'll die together like the wimp you are."

[Drake jump on the back of Raven and fly away of Rim Elm]

Drake:"Even if I don't do it for Kalidor's money, you'll die for my own pleasure. Do what you want with this city Branek, these two are my only concern."

--Sun down: 7 hours left--

Angela was now hovering towards the mountain in her usual running speed, thanks to her trusty Winged Star Rod. She was coming pretty close to it, and, luckily, it wasn't taking too much time to get there. It only took two hours as opposed to her thoughts of three or four hours, and that was, to her at least, amazing. Yet, as she flew through the air, and and the trees and bushes, she was lost in rapturous excitement.

Passing by a few frisky critters, and a flower or two, Angela stopped just about a mile before the mountain to catch her breath: Angela's ability to fly was dependant on her rod, and her magical will. Since it was now getting darker, she wasn't sure of how easy it would be to get through the forest anymore. She looked at what she had brought with her, which was nothing much except for Welf's cloak, her rod, and some medical objects. She sighed, and looked into the sky, wondering how she was going to even have any hope of getting Welf out of the castle with these things in her inventory.

Perhaps she could just rush in, and start hitting people with her rod until she got what she wanted.... no. That wouldn't do at all. They'd probably just capture her too. Maybe she could plead amnesia, and say that she is looking for her brother, who is (coincidentally) named Welf, and then try to escape with him. That could work, she thought. But if it were to work, she'd still have to know of an escape route that they could use, so that they could escape. As she didn't know of any, and as she was all out of ideas, her worries about Welf's safety swelled up. She hugged her knees to herself, and buried her face in her lap.

Just then, something hit her, and she fell over sideways onto the cloak, and whatever collided with her fell straight over her and through an old, dead tree. She looked up to see a bit of red hair flying through the air, gently falling to the earth in a poetic fashion. She recognized those hairs... She got up and walked towards the broken tree very slowly. She brought up enough courage to finally say it. She poke the name of who she thought it was.

Angela:"...Aunt Jane?"

Suddenly Welf got up, and brushed himself of all debris. He turned to look at Angela, in a very brisk manner as well.
Welf: "Who are you calling Aunt, girl?"

He stopped and took a step backwards in fear: Angela was now peering back at him with deep-seeded anger. She moved closer to him, and waved her finger threateningly at him.

Angela: "Do you KNOW how worried I was about you?! How could you have run off like that, especially without telling anyone about where you were going? That was totally reckless, and stupid! And what do you call me when you see me again!? GIRL?! OH, I should've just let you stay in Kalidor's castle instead of rushing out here to feel so badly."
Welf: "...but I...hey, girl!"
Angela was walking away, ignoring him, and was holding all of her stuff.
Angela: "My name is not 'girl'.
Welf: "H--Hey! Wait up!"

Angela continued walking on, and Welf eventually caught up. When he did, however, he recieved a rude awakening from Angela when she hit him over the head with her rod, and started hovering in the direction that she believed the town to be in ("STUPID GIRL!").

---6 hours 30 minutes until Drakes orders are carried out--

[ooc] not much time huh and umm what happens when times runs out? [/ooc]

Branek charges at Dante, Dante then rolls to the left out of the way he quickly recovers and swings his word hitting Branek form behind. Doing a good solid hit.

Branek: "AHH... GRRR... YOU PAY FOR THAT ONE!"
*2 red streams of aura went into the sword*
Branek now seem to go in a outrage fit.
*Dante's gauntlet went from blue to red*
*Thanatos vianshed as before in the woods and appeared to the side of Branek*

Branek: "What the..."

*Thanatos swings back his fist and thows a punch at Branek*
The blow made Branek stumble back a bit but the fire had no effect on him. A red arura appeared from Branek's body again and went into the gauntlet. Thanatos teleported back to his master side swaying side to side like a ghost. The guantlet went back to the color blue*

Branek: {So the demon of his can teleport to a enemys weak point and attack. I'll have to keep a eye on that demon and the kid.}
Branek then notice that a red aura came form his body into Dante's guantlet.

Branek: "What! You what have u done what is that?"
Dante: " Well this Guantlet can steal the soul's off a demon with every hit my sword and friend does and plus it goes to my buddy Thanatos. Yes he feeds off of other demons soul"
Branek: { So that explains why the Gauntlet glows and I feel a little weak. Ill have to stop him}
Dante: "You dont stand a chance just let me by."

Branek body glows red as he opens his mouth gathering energy for his ultimate attack. Dante rushes at him with his sword held straight. And Thanatos vanished once again. Just as he does Branek release's Fire beam!

WELF:"well, last thing i remember before being losing consciousness, i was on DRAKE'S bird. going toward kalidor. when i woke up i was in the mountain and there was the sent of a women, i could tell because there are no men up until now that has that kind of sent."
ANGELA:"you mean you been saved by a women. well... yes i met this women who was after drake, you think its the same women ?"
WELF:"maybe, you do have her sent on you !"
*welf started smelling angela closely !*
ANGELA:"HEY !!!"
*welf backed again*
WELF:"sorry !"
ANGELA:"let'S get back to town before its gone !"
WELF:"What do y... ? ? ?"
*welf ears twitched suddently, he just looked in the air like he was afraid of something !*
WELF:"damn he'S coming at us !"
ANGELA:"who are you talking about !"
*WELF took angela by the arm and ran into the nearest bushes !*

[meanwhile in RIM ELM]
BRANEK:"so, you fight demons with a demon, don'T you think its ironic how you are reduce to fight like us, pathetic human !"
*at that moment some other cloaked demons came in, behind branek.*
SOLDIER1:"there is still 6h until the deadline sir... you can'T fight those till the end !"
BRANEK:"i know, but we can'T let him reach richard until we do our mission here !"
DANTE:"what the hell are you all talking about ?"
BRANEK:"none of your business young man. just go back in town and wait for it to happen, you'll see what will happen and then you're little friend over there won't be of any help !"
nowback f or i'll be force to call out my other friends, and believe me, they aren't the type to fight one on one !"
DANTE:"2 against one or even 3 against one doesn'T scare me !"

Branek: "Fools his Gauntlet of his steals the souls of other demon's, and it makes his demon stronger. And have you even fought him?"
The soldiers stand still to scared to even answer.
Branek: HAVE YOU!
*they all mumble no, Branek turns back pushes them out of his way as he marches to complete his task, as the other demons follow after him*

Dante still running threw the forest on the same path Angela went threw. jumping over logs and dodging strange creature's he didn't even know what they were. So much was racing threw his mind. 6 hours left till what, and who is Richard and what ever happen to the girl. He kept at a same pace so deep in thought he forgot all about where he was going or didn't even bother to think where he was.

*Welf looked in the sky and saw Raven doing circle above them*

Welf:"Great, he must be around somewhere."
Drake:"Come on Welf, get out of this bush. You can run like the coward you are but you can't hide forever."

*Welf and Angela jump out of the bush and prepared themself to face their oppenent*

Welf:"How did you find us???"
Drake:"Well it seems that I have few tricks. Now lets get down to business. To bad that I have to bring you back alive."

*Drake take out his sword and slash at Angela. Angela move fast and dogde the attack. Welf take the opportunity to jump onto Drake's back and hold him*

Drake:"Damn traitor what are you trying to do?"
Welf:"Angela do something."

*Angela began to hit Drake with all her strength*
*After a short time, Drake get out of Welf's grip*

Drake:"Well, she's got skills. Ok now no more cheap shot. I can't beleive that I said that."
?:"Stop Simon, don't hurt them anymore."
Angela:"Maria, what are you doing here???"
Maria:"You tell me to keep an eye on him, that's what I'm doing."
Drake:"Well it seems that all the gang is here. Three against one, it's unfair, I mean for you."
Angela:"What are we doing with this monster?"
Maria:"Just hold on, there's someone who can handle him. He's on his way, just hope that he will help us."
Drake:"LETS BRING IT ON!!!"
