The point of this topic was to test the minds of this forum.
Actually, TarkanX started this topic first just under a different name.I am deeply inpressed with everyone here.I had no idea some of you actually pay attion in school. *claps* Now if Roll,TarkanX,and Nantuko Joe would get in here this topic would become intense. :laughlong: |
[quote:post_uid0="SolidSnake76"]its been determined that the sun is 5,000,000,000 years old, earth: 4.2 billion. but the universe: 15,000,000,000. that gives me a thought:
-how hot was the temp during the big bang? -is the universe slighty warm? -is the universe still expanding? -how was the sun formed? -how much percent of dust was used for the creation of the sun? the planets? -how big is the universe? note: space your answers please.
c'mon answer these questions. dont make me get smart, which i already am. |

lol sybrd :laughlong: ...lame topic anywayz i learned about them in science class already. I actually learn alot from that boring class :D
|
This topic is interesting.
I say this because. Well People all over the world. As well as in different states and countrie's. The book's issued out for and in education. May have been rewritten or fixed. Having new facts for science or for anything. Else of that manner of element. As well this is interesting. Why cause if some one asked you. For 1 million dollar's can you answer this ?. About science or education. Would you be walking home. With a fat wallet HmMm... I guess not. You mista sbyrd continue. Posting on with this topic. As well as any one else. Who want's to learn. If you can't stand the heat. Get outa D Kitchen aight   I have a ? before I get out of this conversation. Why is space black? Why is the sky a reflection of space somewhat? As well why can't their be a way. To make a Ozone layer. With out having to pollute it. For it to form into one. For Example Mars. It to ah forget it neva mind. I am just a dodo who had a straight B. In Honor's Science something last year. Hey Roll and Joe and Tarkan. As well as Dan get in heya now [/color:post_uid6] |
This world will get destroyed in 50-100 years. Why? Someone quote me, and I'll tell you.
|

yeah why? |
[quote:post_uid0="TarkanX"]This world will get destroyed in 50-100 years. Why? Someone quote me, and I'll tell you.
ok ur quoted..lol so why ? |
Why?
The Ozone layer is getting destroyed as I am typing, it's only going to get worse. the Ozone Layer protects us from Ultra violet Rays from the Sun, if we get hit by UV Rays, we get skin cancer. The Ozone depletion is the size of North America(I believe). I read an article that every year, the ozone layer gets depleted by 3%. And also, we need plants to survive, without plants, the ozone layer gets worse. in 50 years, all the forrests will be destroyed, unless something is done. I've got more to say, I'll be back in a few to post some more. |
the ozone layer? o well not my fault people can be such dumbasses and destroy the ozone. hey it wont happen till we all die maybe. the thing that will probabably destroy everyone is when the polar ice caps all meltand all land goes under water. i cant wait :laughlong:
|
ur evil. it wont happen. i make sure of that.
|
[quote:post_uid0="SolidSnake76"]ur evil. it wont happen. i make sure of that.
LOL |
IF WE BELIVED THE WORLD WOULD END IN FIFTY YEARS OR 100 WE WOULDNT BOTHER BUT AS A MATTER OF FACT ALLTHOUGH THE OZONE LAYER IS BEING DEPLEATED THE PARTS OFF THE WORLD THERE DEPLEATED MORE IN ARE THE ONES ON THE EQUATOR , PLUS 50 TO 100 YEARS IS A UNDER-ESTIMATION FOR A START ALTHOUGH THE OZONE LAYER IS BIENG DEPLETED HUMANS CAN SURVIVE WITHOUT IT AS THE OZONE ONLY STOPS UV AND ULTRA IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH KEEPING AIR IN AND AS FOR THE RAIN FORESTS BEING ALL GONE IN 100 YEARS ,,,, HMM I WOULDNT HAVE THOUGHT SO AS WE HAVE MANY REGISTERED PLACES WHERE TREES ARE UNTOUCHED FOR INSTANCE THE LATEST ONE IS MADAGASCER ISLAND AND THERE ARE A LOT MORE TREE PRESUVATIONS WORLDWIDE IF THE EARTHS GONNA GO ITLL BE SOMETHING WE DONT EXPECT LIKE A COMET OR A ICE AGE...
|
also the ozone is linked to global warming i believe. look, i can repair the ozone. all i need is the right materials and research.
but it is believed it is gonna repair itself in half a century. |
All we need to do is removie stack smoking factories, gas contained cars, and plant a hell of a lot more. Also, we need to stop litering. Tell your people to clean up! recycle, plant trees, or do something to save the environment!
|
Where is "Smoky The Bear",or the Planateers.lol
Kids today don't have does roll models to look up to. |
i a role model.
lights a cig |
the world will end because of humans........we are destroying the earth........we are the only living beings that destroy their habitat.......with our houses, cars, roads, farms........anyway.......we'll die because of ourselves........it's sad but it's true :(
|
Very true, last I heard the melting of the ice caps is faster than what is was a decade ago.
|
[quote:post_uid0="Squall87"]Very true, last I heard the melting of the ice caps is faster than what is was a decade ago.
yep.......we're heating up the earth, destroying the wild life and the vegetation........we're polluting the water.........anyway.......it's sad....... |
At least we'll die before the end of the world
*Blackhole in the galixy, destroy the earth in something mill. years.* |
trust me, i will save this planet. thats a promise.
|
with Current Tech? I doubt is Snake, though if you do find a finding, I'd be surprised.
and you can't kill a Blackhole, there all gravity, crushing anything that dares enter them. |
i not talking about the black hole. i need research about that. a WHOLE lot.
|
Blackholes spawn when a supernova goes out in a very big way. *If I'm right*
and even if we don't hover toward it, there is the big crunch theory. |
in the other hand Big Crunch Theory there is the ever expanding universe theory.

[quote:post_uid0="Squall87"]Blackholes spawn when a supernova goes out in a very big way. *If I'm right*

Nucleus Nova=The name is not corect, but stars are born from cloud like figures in space. The cloud compresses and forms... Stage 1=This is the infant stage of a star. The star is to wild, and spreads it's heat to wildly at this stage. The Sun=This is the stage are star is at it is more matured at this stage, and spreads it's heat and gravity evenly. Red Gaint=I may have spelled that incorrectly, but his is the star at it's largest form.At this stage the star is considered to be at the adulthood of it's life spand. White Drawf=This stage is some times skipped, but it is know as a White hole or an hig gravity star. The gravity of this stage is very powerful. Dark Drawf A.K.A Black Hole=This is the final stage of a star. But to see a Black hole makes you ralize that this universe is perhaps more than a trillion and plus years old. |

I don't beleive that theory everthing ends eventually even the universe. |
wrong SBYRD, now let me explain how a star is born and dies
there's two types of stars, one is the type our sun is and the other is damn, i forgot its name, lol. anyways, Process of a star like our sun: nebula: infant stage of star, when it's still giant clouds of hydrogen next, it starts to become very dense and heat up, and eventually, nuclear fusion occurs in which hydrogen atoms are fused into helium after all these other stages of the star(i won't go into specifics, since i don't have much time) it becomes red giant, like you described SBYRD then it becomes a helphoid(can't remember what it's called) where there is very little hydrogen left and most of the star is helium, and the helium starts to fuse with itself into carbon. and then finally it becomes neutron star(a.k.a white dwarf) with extreme gravity because the red giant's core collapses on itself The other type of star's process: the star pretty much follows the same process, except it becomes a supernova instead of a red giant. the supernova goes through the same thing, except it has a possibility to become a black hole or a pulsar. anyways, a blackhole's tremendous gravity CAN infact cause a nearby star to go nova. |

Ok since u guys are really smart i want to know........
Is the Universe Exanding? and if its true then how did they find that out? And who found it out? Oh and another question is......... Why do fools fall in love?? |

Tupac I think the Universe is still expanding because of the heat that is still given off from the Explosion that made the Universe. This theory is called "The Big Bang Theory".It basicly states that the universe was perhaps very compressed at one time. The pressure made a massive explosion that thus created the planets and etc. Now, some of you are wondering how did life begin on earth.Ok, I'm going to give the scientific answer even though I'm a christian. There was a lake on earth after the molten rock cooled to from natural rock.My guess is that the lake was made by the ice in space. Well, anyway in that lake, pond, etc. There was bacteria the first form of life. This bacteria evolved and so on. Fools fall in love(That is not a science based question) Because there names say it all,but a real answer is that there attraction for who ever grows so strong that there willing to make hardships for them self to see the other recieve affection or joy. |
okay, here is a question for all you "scientists"
tell me how you would define a living being. what facts would you base on to determine whether a "thing" is living or not? (don't give me retarded answers like: well, use your common sense!) |
if it breaths, eats, move around, sleep and is composed of cells, not molecules, its a living thing.
cell: the smallest unit of living things. e.g.: skin cells, muscle cells, white blood cells. molecule: a non-living substance. e.g.: oxygen, carbon, hydrogen. molecules are also in the periodic table of elements. there are currently 118 elements. who can name them all? |
uh... actually i think almost all living beings are made out of molecules.
cells: what is it made out of? molecules of carbon and other stuff molecules: not elements, but multiple elements combined together e.g. water has molecules, oxygen doesn't have molecules, it has atoms |
yall kinda smart damn didn't see that one coming
:0 |
Actually, my theory on Smallest living thing is diffrent.
*Booting up First year Chem. Honors student* Well, Snake is right, Cells are the smallest unit of life, but my theory is, what are the cells made of? Basically, in the human body we are mostly made up of Water. Which is what children? H20 *points at Electron Dot Diagram* So you see, Living things are made up of basically O2 and H, otherwise why would we always have to have something to drink after running a marathon or something simliar to that effect *and meh, I forgot what I was going to say with the electron dot diagram.*-_- |
[quote:post_uid0="princevegetam"]uh... actually i think almost all living beings are made out of molecules.

O is a ELEMENT
A Molecule is a bond of a Element to another Element Atoms are Nu-, Pro-, and Elec- trons [edit] and Snake had to edit his post. well, I'll leave it up for others. [/edit] |
your all WRONG.
a molecule is made up of three subtances: protron neutron electron now hydrogen is made up of one protron, one neutron and one electron. oxygen has eight. now put two oxygen molecules and one hydrogen molecule together and you got a compound. a compound is two or more elements mixed or fused together. and a element is a molecule. |
