TarkanX 07-24-2002 09:12 PM

Super Mario Bros 1, the game where you only have a mushroom and fire flower at your disposal, and the game seems much blockier than the later Mario games...

oO_HoTSauCeOo 07-24-2002 09:15 PM

Ah....I'll have to hook up my nes again...and beat the game without warping..yeesh scary.

Btw tark...does jumping over him consider as facing him?

TarkanX 07-24-2002 10:06 PM

No, You have to fight him head on(hence fire Mario)

DX Zero 07-25-2002 12:07 AM

The one with the spikes that blows fire out of his mouth.....

DX Zero 07-25-2002 12:43 AM

lol ok... try again..
u can fight him as many times as u want!
(this was my first answer b4 i edit this first post BAH!
u told me to read the question again!! )

Troy88 07-25-2002 12:47 AM

Hmm...this seems like a trick question, so I'll try to be as thorough as possible. There is a 2nd quest after you beat the game (Goombas are replaced with Buzzy Beetles, etc.), and a 3rd quest, and a 4th...on and on...if you look at it that way, there are an infinite number of Bowsers. If you look at anything past the 2nd quest as being redundant, then there are 16 Bowsers. However, there are a total of eight Bowsers throughout the first quest, as you only see him in the 4th level of every world.

But I'm not sure what answer you are looking for...so none of these is my "official" answer (in other words, I don't want to lose any points :D )

DX Zero 07-25-2002 12:52 AM

lol i know.. HE TRICKED ME!! BAH!
i thought the bosses was koopa
or is there only one boss?
.................. the truth is out there!

if not, then I say that answer is 1

oO_HoTSauCeOo 07-25-2002 10:49 AM

I think you guyz are thinking too hard..and so am I....kks might be right.

TarkanX 07-25-2002 11:30 AM

YES!!! KKS is right!!! if you shoot fireballs to the first 7 bowsers, they die as other regular enemies, but if you shoot fireballs to the last one, he dies as his own enemy....
