Simple solution... you become V.I.P. if you play quiet regulary... otherwise use someone like cyclops and pray... ???

Its a crazy world out there, a reminder!!! Evil ryu is not cheap, that is a fact, and if u think he is cheap, u porbably just jealous u loser! anyways, theres alot of ways to beat evil ryu, like to get either hulk or juggernaut so if he uses ariel shinkuu hadouken, he'll be womped! anyways, you can also pick cyclops(but he's cheap, and kinda...u know!) or u can pick sentinel(but when u pick sentinel, evil ryu can use hell murdur and you cannot stop him withe the beam!!!!!!!!) or you can use...lets see....well all i know is that if akuma was a playable character right now, i'd be ranked number 3 right now!!!! well anyways...lets continue.

It is true, if you think Evil Ryu is cheap, well believe me he's not, just cuz he has cool moves and stuff(woo-hoo! go evil ryu!) doesnt mean he's cheap. cuz if u say that, that is that you dont even knoe what cheap is!!! i mean sentinel is gay and cheap, he only has 3 moves!!! what im trying to say is, dont say evil ryu is cheap or gay, because he's not, if u keep saying that, then that just means you're jealous that you're not vip and get him. So, stop the hating for evil ryu, he's not cheap, or anything, he's just like the other(except he's got 3 good moves*extra*, especialy Raging Demon(instant hell murdur) must be at lvl 3 to do it). So peace aight, and stop the hating! Thats my advice, and if i was you, i'd take it! ;)

Evil Ryu was what changed my cheap ways! Now I always select wolvie and E. Ryu over Cyclops and Sentinel(Use wolvies drill claw to charge up to level 3) :buttrock:

Bah..you just "think" he is awesome.

He isnt as "great" as he appears.
He requires alot more skill to use then any of the other characters.
His aerial Hadokens...have to be precisely placed or they miss your opponent.
His his aerial super...pretty good stuff, i have to admit...but it is still buggy..and will inevitably be fixed. But I have yet to see my opponent not be able to block the move....it's slow as hell and you can see it coming a mile away...and if you select the right helper, the move is easily broken....Oh yeah...some skill wont hurt you game against him that much either.

The Raging Demon...yeah it's great againt players that havent figured out how to stop the move from happening yet...But in a match up against a skilled player..they almost always stop E. Ryu from preforming the Raging Demon.
Especialy against all the Hadoken, Web Ball and Optic Blast queens out there.[/quote]

Ahh, yes I remember when you beat me... with normal ryu. But i never inteded to win anyway since that fight was really unfair! You had cable while I was lagging like hell(56k). So basically NONE of my moves ever hit you and all of YOUR moves did double damage to me. I just hope someday in the future we never have to complain about lag in this game no more.

evil ryu is not cheap unless the person who controls him is. The only problem i have with him is that if i use a helper or do a projectile on him while doing a raging demon a few secs later it happens.

oy, some more misconceptions to clear up.

Termin8tor: about your 56k modem causing his moves to do double damage: NOT TRUE. I have a cable modem, and i play da_vipa on his 56k modem; without lag, i think we're almost equal, with him a TAD better. And guess what? he almost always wins. My moves dont do extra damage, nor do they always go through. And his moves DO go through , though not always. If the connection is bad, its really not gonna give one player a huge advantage unless he knows to play with lag.

HELLOTHERE: E. ryu is NOT just ryu with 2 new moves. Besides his 2 new specials, he CANNOT perform an aerial shinkuu hadoken (replaced by dragon rage), and he CANNOT throw a straight aerial hadoken. It has been replaced by a diagonal fireball. Also, he can do a forwards and backwards warp. While you may think, "he still is pretty much the same", think about how much those aerial changes affect gameplay. He is NOT like black spiderman; E ryu is almost a different character. (unless youre one of those trigger happy, fireball throwing people who only move to jump from one side to the other...)

I think e.ryu is pretty cheap...but it doesn't matter only people that suck use him anywayz....

e-ryu ain't cheap... just ####s doing hadoken and hadoken over and over again in the same time, and his super was pretty dumb, it took too much space but now you have no need cause his air special doesn't take much space now so if you're under him you won't get hit anymore :laugh:

Try to use less of the "n" word and yes a very good norm ryu user should own e ryu... :biggrin: Norm ryu is quicker

Youre right, normal ryu is able to beat E ryu if you stay in the air and repeadtedly do hadokens since they try to Zankuu Hadoken you to death. And be sure to keep spamming hadoken if he tries to do that raging demon

lol yall think the best way to beat evil ryu is to constantly throw hadokens. well many people tried that on me and they failed miserably. so im gonna give u a good strategy.


a lot of evil ryu user like to stay in the air 24/7. what u can do is not rely too much on your hadokens. stay close to evil ryu and use your close range skill (if yall have any). a truely skilled evil ryu user (like me) will get past all of those hadokens and beat the crap out of ya. and to the person who said that regular ryu is quicker than e ryu your not totally right. evil ryus air fireball is slower than regular ryus. other than that they have the same speed. also remember to use your super jump to the fullest.

lol people tell me that i really suck. so the tell me to fight them as a non vip. i fight them without my status and i beat the crap out of them. then they make up some lame excuse like lag. its really funny :laughlong:

I never liked fighting against other VIP. THey just too hard. Every time I fight them I end up getting Tenma-Gou Zankuued to death cause you cant really avoid it if it's on the ground and ur in the opposide corner ???

:biggrin: Constant movement by Ryu can really be a problem for E ryu and that gives non vips a chance.. It's all about Ryu's speed :biggrin: Anyway, if termin8r really beat cyber akuma perfect then vips should be a breeze for him :biggrin:

Actually, the comp was quite easy for me. It's human players that are so unpredictable that their VIP perks make me lose.

its not that evil ryu is cheap its his ragin demon. Today i fought a vip and he used ragin demon i called a helper, but it still happened and worst of all it happened twice leavin me helpless!

if there's lag and the person lags you, you'll just have to use lag and lag the opponent to stop doing it, true you can't do anything to his screen, but you can do things at your screen? wonder if you get it??

VIP members who are on 56k or lower are pretty easy to cancel their Raging demon with. I never did it without getting hit by a projectile, so, it never happens.

You might be wrong there my friend.. Vips with 56k would execute the raging demon alright and it'll happen on his/her screen Now you with the dsl or cable would not know for a while and all of a sudden.. from no where he starts the thing and even with your helper and a projectile the screen turns black! ... let's face it you have to bombard him with hadukens b4 you can actually stop it

i have a 56k dial up modem and my comp is pretty slow most the time but i ave special prog that does something to the internet and all of asudden its faster and more accurate but anyways i get lots of lag but if i rented a cable modem and stuff i probobly would be a really really good fighter because the lag makes the person your fighting dissapear alote and his or her life doesnt go down when your pownden on him but then gradually it goes down but ive learned how to work with the lag but i still nead a cable modem plus evil ryu is the bomb!! :buttrock: and soon i will get him and be a VIP..

The thing that really enoys me is when people say oh you cheap vip user then they say a minute later..
