25 tournament?? What's that?

There's just way too many #### tournaments going around now adays to keep track of...

Currently, only supersonicx and Kingryu1's tournament seems capable of being finished (even though I wouldn't through any money on any tournament that got slapped together in a few hours/days).

Look I'm serious about my tournament. I'm not saying that everyone else here is not. I'm hosting the first all GIRLS ONLY tournament. The Name of this tourny is "Lady Killer Tournament"(LKT). To me this could be one of the biggest tournaments in XMVSSF online history. I will try to the best of my skills to make this tournament a success.

I believe this is the first tournament for girls only,and like 2000warrior said"Check the success and mistake of past tournaments". I've read though ALOT of past tournaments when I first joined this forum realizing that the girls have never had there own tournament.

I don't expect to recieve respect or anything I'm doing this for the girls of XMVSSF. I realised that I can't give the girls a prize,but I can give the girls the honor of being in the first tournament only for them. Also those that join will have my respect.

Remember the chicks have skills too.

Not if you're serious about hosting it... make a great website for it, have very well thought out/planned rules... and have been around long enough to gain some respect among the forumm junkies.

Please, share with us you're vast knowledge of Tournament hosting so that tournaments might once again be semi-efficiently hosted, instead of 10+ crappy tournaments per week being started and disbanded a few days later... :biggrin:

i lost in in zings toc1 tourney at round 3 against tarkanx
and i came in 2nd place at mastaq's bfa tourney

all these new tourneys are not even organized

hey guys wishwarriorx here from streetfighterx.org representing. you guy might remember me from last year.. (hosted a tournament, sank like a rock with only 15 out of 50 people showing up for the tourny :angryfire: ) anyway, my site has taken off quite a bit since then, and we are now the number one goto guys for tournament stats for 3S and sfa series. and i remembered this site so i thought id give it another try as far as hosting a tourney. but this time im making sure i got some support. i just need to find out if anyone could help me gets some info on this though, ive taken a look at some of the rules and setups and allot of them seem a little over complicated. and i was wanting to come up with a stable tournament. anyway someone give me a wordup or email me wishwarriorx@streetfighterx.org

I'm posting LKT2 I thought I should infrom you 2K2 warrior and staff.

first, when I make a tournament, will it just be a normal game that says tournament in the title? If not, how do I make sure it's a tournament? Second, I would like to host a tournament, the Supreme Tournament. I would like the prize to be a helper, and I would like it to be Collosus from x-men. thanx.

if you DO want an "official prize"... you will have to have your "idea" approved by me and/or other mods... and, you will need to get @least 100 people involved (that part shouldn't be hard)... a prize can be a new color for a character, or, a special/new helper...

1)What if they are not use to that person and
2) people cant use up to their full potential if they cant use the fighter they are best with.

I think we should leave tournament rules to the people who are actually hosting them.
