If Gore had won 4 years ago, then we would have done nothing following the 9/11 attacks. Gore would make the United States even more of a laughingstock to other countries than it already is.

Granted, I've argued pro-war in the past, there's no denying that. Hell, had I been eligable to vote 4 years ago, and if I could go back in time, I would have voted for bush 4 years ago. Only because having bush the past four years was a lot better than even thinking about what it would have been like with Gore.

Out of the two, bush was the best guy for the job 4 years ago. Not now though. Hell no, not now. First term, good. Second term: BAD.

I was pulling for Kerry this entire time, and it sucks that he conceded. Big time. It is true that neither Kerry nor bush said anything that I like. However, Kerry would have been a far better president this election than bush. Hell, the crazy redneck wants to reunite church and state, basing LAWS around his BELIEFS (IE: check out his stance on stem cell research). And there's no doubting that with him in charge yet again, he's gonna invade someone.....could be North Korea, could be anybody. And when he does, I wouldn't be surprised if a draft is tied to it's tail, with all the talk about it thus far. And I know this: once a draft rolls around, I'm gonna have to decide whether I'd like a permanent trip to Canada, never to return to my country, or live in a dingy little jail cell for two years.

bush said he would not go to draft...but if he does many peole on this forum will go " bye-bye"

Actually, it is true that N. Korea does have weapons of mass destruction. The problem with that is that although they might not use it on us they might give to someone that might.

I never heard Japan had WMDs. Where and when is this? Oh lord there might be another pearl harbour.
And y did you change to orange. go back to pink...

blanka09 11-06-2004 11:17 AM

Ironic... isn't it??

On one hand you have.. well, had Saddam.. who we weren't sure had WMDs.. but there were speculations; yet America went and attacked without the approval of the UN Inspectors and all the likes.. and then you have North Korea who we're certain have WMDs... yet we're not able to do anyffin.

I'm not so sure how bush won that election.. but I just hope we survive. In the words of a democrat;

We survived Regan, we'll survive him

Shingko 11-06-2004 11:27 AM

just pray that your country will not be attacked next

Maybe we should elect somebody who is actually qualified for the job....

That would be a first in like 200 years+...

i think he went after saddam to follow up on his daddy's term
but his daddy said himself that going to get saddam was a bad idea

Even if there were wmds in japan they wouldn't use them on us...

There economy depends a lot on their exports to the U.S.

if the us tries to attack Japan they have to be careful...Japan has crazy winds on its coast...Japan calls them
kamakaze (ka-ma-ka-z)

Their kamakaza has saved them from many attacks throughout history

very good, iplay2win. i guess you're a bit smarter than we all gave you credit.

i forgot, was it the ashikaga shogunate when the kamakaza saved japan from the mongols?

Japan's military is the U.S. military, so let's get back to the topic.

Elena 11-06-2004 07:13 PM

Well, the topic was the election and it's over...so now lets talk about uh bush's big head :sarcasm:

before you lock it, right?

lets go to a simmilar subject... guess the next four years in three easy steps.

i say:

1) another terrorist attack, this time on chicago. *i'm obviously not gonna say los angeles*
2) bush goes to war with... uhh.. lets say... saudie arabia?
3) bush's approval rating goes down to 25%

uhhh.. and chany wins the next election (cause he's a "mans' man, and he looks you in the eye")

KenDaShoto 11-06-2004 08:20 PM

My Turn

1.) Another terrorist attack (doesn't matter where)
2.) bush is ridiculed talked about and hated by all
3.) bush becomes President again even though he wasnt on ballot

ledmonkey 11-07-2004 08:29 AM

1. The economy is now on the uprise...
2. bush really wont do anything drastic...
3. People will be indifferent about his second term...and not care...
