Yea Karma I agree it was a stupid topic to post but I also wanted to see what the "real" players of xvssf think which characters should be in here. There used to be threads like these all over but they were made by ####ies, and ####ies only voted so I didnt take that very serious. So now its good to know what the vets, mods, cool people want.

Anyways my votes go to:
1st: Ken
2nd: Guile
3rd: Sagat

So now its kinda "official" because most of the people like Ken. And I think Ken is getting this years vote.

ken sucks big floppy donkey dick. he is just like ryu, wats the point in waiting months just to have a poopty clone of ryu, why not get a ORIGANAL, NON FIREBALL SHOOTING **** MACHINE character, like dan or guile. sure they have projectiles, but there more organal than poopty fireballs. guiles you have to charge, and dans doesn't even reach across the screen.

Akuma is to powerful to be defeated by Sagat......

Akuma is his Grandfather or Uncle....probally Uncle.....

But Dan defeating akuma never actually happed it was a joke ending so there..!!!!!!!!!!

The main reason Kingryu we all like Ken is because he has a much more different and fun personality then Ryu. Yes he shoots hadou-ken's like ryu but he also has other more interesting moves then Ryu. exmpl: his shoryuken lights your enemy on fire which makes you wanna use it over and over again whenever you get the chance. He also got the
shoryu-reppa which is much cooler then ryu's Shinryuken.
His hurricane kick is also much quicker then ryu's and hits the oponent multiple times. His Shinryuken is like ryu's shinryukenexcept with a big fire whirlwind surrounded by it.
So there I hope this changes your mind about Ken.

Exaclty why I've been routine for Ken all the time..
I mean he's much more fun to use than Ryu.. and very flashy too :biggrin:
I mean with all the Shoryureppa and Shinryuken and Shippu Jinrai Kyaku... :biggrin:

My respect for you just dropped 5 notches...

Ken is NOT a ryu clone... They are 2 totally different fighters. I would explain why and howbut I'm totally not energetic enough to type 3 pages right now.

but if you're too fliping damn retard to notice those differences then you clearly isn't an SFA fan !

RYU = PROJECTILE MASTER
KEN = CLOSE QUARTER FIGHT MASTER

they are very very very different and that ever since the ALPHA serie.
and yes ken has PROJECTILES, but so is guile, so is almost all the fliping SF crew !
so what's wrong with damn projectiles ?

if you never noticed, KEN HADOKENS are like half the power of ryu. so basically, any HADOKEN made by KEN are like all CANCELLED by other projectile. but ryu, cancel all other projectile, which should give you enough hints about the fact that KEN isn'T a projectile fighter !

but like i said, what's the point of arguing with a MORON that can't even open his mind enough to know other thing then his fliping self !

When I was inexperienced I perffered Ken Masters over Ryu.....

But now after actually blocking while I fight,and discovering that Ryu later develops his lightning uppercut I'd say Ryu is the superior fighter.....

(KEn looks cooler....acts cooler when he wins,etc.)

But Ryu is a superior fighter....

To be serious I'm use to whooping his ass all the time,but when I actually played with him in ALPHA3.

He's like a gaint Ryu....with a nasty uppercut....he puts his whole body into it.....

and that foot tech. is nice also.....

sbyrd5: believe me, KEN as as much power as RYU !

but they all have their own techs that are stronger then others !

examples:
RYU's HADOUKEN are much strongers then those of KEN, best fit would be the fact tat they are twice bigger as KEN ones !
but, KEN SHORYUKEN is much strongers then RYU.
RYU has lots of fighting tech that combo's.
so as ken, but ken gives more hits then ryu in a combo, because ryu isn't made for close range fights, he is mainly a middle ranged fighter while ken is a lot more of a close range fighter !

see it all depends on what you are saying of it, yes they seems identical, but for all i know they aren't !

Im gonna vote for some1 like guile even though i prefere ken. dont want 2 many shotos.

I don't understand what is so bad about Sakura... I mean, she's just as good (if not better) than Ken and Ryu, she is original (somewhat), and she looks so kawaii. ^-^ I'd choose her Haru Ichiban over a Shinryuken, and a Shinku-Tatsumaki Senpu kyaku any day of the year. And in team battles, her Shinku Haduken has some great uses....

Next person who says that Ryu and Ken are the same person im going to bicth slap them. You jackass dont see it do you, they are suppose to me somewhat similar. They have the same style of fighting seeing that they were taught by the same dam teacher. And he is Akuma's brother so those 3 of course will have have similar moves.

And great example for u. If you are in a dojo and u all learn together from your teacher will u not be able to do the same certain kick he taught u. And will everyone be able to throw a punch the same as someone else? No not everyone is good at kicking some are better with ther fist or feet.

Then you can look at Teken, Heihachi taught Jin Kazama the Kazama style of Judo and Mishima style of Karate. Jin's father know that style too, as you can see the 3 of them have a same style but fight a lil diffrent. Jin to me is quick and powerful with his hands and feet making combos with him a breeze. Now his father Kazuya, packs powerful moves but slower and is a fighter who shows no mercy. As for Heihachi the boss of all Teken games is both in speed and power.

Ken is like the expert to the Shouryuken (Rising Dragon Fist) most ppl thin ken just has a pretty fire swirl around it thats all. But actually kens is more powerful then ryu's. And look at Ken Hadouken is weak small and does not travel full screen like Ryu's. Sakura is almost better at that move then Ken.
Tatsumaki Senpu Kyaku (Whirlwind Tornado Leg) Ryu is like a 1 or 2 hit then the person hit the ground. But ken goes on till it ends. Ken kick is weak but faster then ryu's strong heavy kicks.

Then the supers Shouryu Reppa (Rising Dragon Render) hmmm now have I seen Akuma do something like that before but not Ryu wonder why? :0

Then there is Shinryuken (True Dragon Fist ) only ken could pull of this great uppercut that I find better then ryu's.

SF3 characters aren't evenemulated, and therefore, no sprites can be taken. That rules the SF3 crew out, so don't count on getting them any time soon. Oh, and next time, use the edit feature. ^.~

ok, let me clear something up dudes !
when i said i was hoping for the whole SFA3 crew to be in, that was because its the game where there is the most SF chars !

its also the one that is kinda almost similar in graphics to the VS series !
we don't want crappy graphics do we ?
so i think the alpha series is a good thing considering its the first of the games to really have lots of animation for the chars !

I mean... play SFA3 and you'll understand that they're more than just clones of each other!

I picked sagait and not dan because hes a waste of character.He's just an imitation ken and ryu. ;)

Dan's actually just his own person, and compared to some certain crazy characters (......Balrog......) he's a very formidable fighter. Still, Sakura kicks Ryu, Ken, and Dan all the way to the MOON with her innocent butt kicking skills! XD

guile. for some reason i kick butt with him...

I really wanna see blanka i think he will come to being the most electrifying man in SFO
