magneto and storm own VS games. please don't vote for any shotos. they don't make great combos, and they can only do fireballs. im tired of hearing haduken, shoryuken. so i URGE U TO VOTE FOR THE SKILLED COMBO MACHINES MAGNETO AND STORM. someone tell me why you all want to vote for shotos.

Silly you. That character isn't emulated (yet...), so we can't get him. And what do you mean, Shoto's can't do combo's? I bet you never even tried to do combo's with any of them. And think about it, if storm was in, we'd only hear "TYPHOON" all the time instead of Hadouken.

and I voted for Sakura (a shoto) because she is one of the few characters who can stop projectiles without a projectile, and she can't use her hadouken's in a cheap manner.

i can do combos with shotos. Shotos have had a decline after super street fighter 2 turbo. the only shoto in mvc2 who is good is ken, because of the ken glitch and an invincible shoryuken. It's also easy to woop typhooning storms instead of combo storms. typhooning storms stay in the air, you just have to stay above them.

Well i was going to vote for Magneto, but since the odds are stacked against him becoming the next character, i voted for Akuma instead. Why, well it's blatantly obvious it's a two horse race between Ken and Akuma, maybe with Gambit running along the track. Ken and Ryu are far too similar for my liking. Akuma with a few exceptions.

back me up tarkanx. tell them why shotos suck in vs games.

Man play the real XvSF, then you'll see that shotos suck... like SRK said the only good shoto in MvC2 is Ken... but Mag, and storm are way better, and dr doom, blackheart, Iron Man, psylocke, sentinel(revised), spiral, rogue, iron man, war machine, charlie, and cammy...

How come shotos don't appear in many vs combo videos? cause they cant combo/trap/rush the s#!T down.

LiQuiDSRK, even if Magneto enters this game, he won't be

yes indeedy fo sheezy rob, i agree with u. but hyper grav>>mag tempest and typhoon are fun ways to win, and storm's project. can go through anything and its better than a friggin shoto fire ball. magneto EM disruptor is very good too.

P.S.do Street Fighter Characters count Alpha and III? And would it be to difficult to add a character that has never been in the vs series, like gen or alex?

well, i, princevegetam, have come back to this official forum only once to express my opinions on the next character.

I believe the next character should be a street fighter character, because there are already 3 marvel characters and only 2 sf character. personally, i voted for akuma. but i do believe the most suitable addition to this game is a character with a slightly different fighting style (e.g. charlie, magneto/storm, bison, etc).

tmyapp, i personally don't think it is fair with the huge amount of more marvel characters overwhelming the puny population of sf characters. you seem to be placing your own interest(marvel) above the interest of others. you are taking characters from games ALMOST exclusively featuring marvel characters(e.g. msh, cota and not sf alpha). i think capcom characters from mvc1 should be included (why not?).

and one last question:

if zangief is added, will throws be avaliable in the game?

I say either Sakura or Ken you peopel put them down just because they're shotoken characters! the at most only have 2 moves liek Ryu the Hadoken and the Wirlwind kick. But I just have one question. Did they ever make Joseph for any of those games? You know he's Magneto after he looses his memory and joins the X-men. He's way faster, younger and stronger as Joseph so does anyone know if they made his for any of the games? Also anyone know if they made Blood storm? I can't remember. If they do I hope they make them for MvsC3 they are so fringin cool! But on the problem at hand no mater what you peopel say. It's gona be Either Ken, Sakura,Cammy or Akuma(ugh.. :crazy: :baaa: ). But I voted for Charlie Nash because that's who I use in the game and his style is diffrent from everyone elses....except guile.I want to have more fist to fist or foot to fist or foot to foot fights instead of who can start throwing off projectiles first and keep the projectiles coming....

princevegetam: not so... the problem is that we can take ANY Marvel char made by Capcom and throw them into this game without a problem... but when it comes to SF, only those seen in vs. games can be used... we can't grab the Alpha chars because they dont' have the "hyper x powers" (@least nothing that can "work" in the vs. game)

from the very start, XvsSF was just COTA/MSH... plus SF chars with crazy powers that they were "never" ment to have... they are the underdogs.. (don't flame me for saying this, i'm only talking from the "technical" point of view) and there is nothing i can do :(

i've taken every single SF char from the vs. games... NO ONE was left out... but in order to be fair, i did the same for the Marvel chars :biggrin:

again.. we just dont' have the animation for other SF chars to make them work in the game... i have nothing against SF chars.. and i plan to keep the voting list the same in the vote after this one (which will probably result in another shoto... tippin' the balance over to SF for the 2nd time in this game's history)

kingryu1: no need... i already got my "Scott fix" (and was flamed for it more than once)... plus.. i still got DWX to satisfy my "creative" side :biggrin:
