Um, sorry about those anti-Charlie comments. I just went back to MvC2 and looked over him again. He was one of the first characters I unlocked (Dan Hibiki being the first), and I was too impatient to learn to link together combos then. Charlie is fast when it comes to combos, and I know that now.

BTW his somersault flash kick shoots a wave of energy dianglely across the screen so no jumping or get wacked. It's a great anti-air/combo ender/projectile move.

This is true, this is true. His flip kick super also shoots those waves. I prefer to end my ground combos with a Down+FP, and continue the combo as an air combo.

i think it may be pretty interesting to see what cyclops and ryu players will end up I mean think about it. Wolverine and chun-li will be battling close up while cyclops and ryu will be having massive projectile battles. Pretty nice.

I agree - that balance would be quite interesting. Having Chunners and Wolvie as the closer characters and Ryu and Cyclops as the far ones - I think we need to add a character that is neither. A wildcard-type, like Magneto, would be interesting (although he plays a mean game of flying keepaway!)

i think it should be storm because we have 2 street fighters one a boy and one a girl and for the x-men we have one boy wolverine. so it should be STORM!!!!!!

Chalie IS SLOW, but have you seen is defensive ? it is the best anti-air/blast defensive player ever. anyone who9 really has played all player without any thing again anyone can reallly say that charlie and guile are defensives player and those who play with know that defense is the best offense.

to bring thing up no char are better than other just better player, if you cannot play with someone cause you're not able to pull out there move than dont play that player but stop killing them with shit talking about how stupid they are cause i know a friend that is really good with servbot in mvc2 !

Now THAT is an accomplishment, being good with SERVBOT, of all characters... it (of course) isn't that SERVBOT sucks, it is that SERVBOT deals a whopping one to four points of damage per normal and special attack! Just as a comparison, SERVBOT's combos deal up to 12 damage, while M. Bison's deal up to 40 damage.

I think that you should just add all of the charachters at once. The game would be so much better that way. It's starting to get stupid having to wait a month or two to get a new charachter and when the new charachter comes out you get bored of him/her in a week. Just add 'em all!

go make a game like this and see how long it takes you to get "all the characters".

I don't make the game, but I did once try capturing all the frames of animation for each character in X-Men vs. Street Fighter for the arcade for animated gif purposes. I abandoned that in-depth project because it takes an insane amount of time and patience to get all the frames. To give you an idea, it takes up to one minute to capture all the frames for a character standing there without walking, attacking, or jumping... and standing usually has very few frames compared to the attacks. GIVE TMyApp A BREAK, WILL YOU? Even after all the images, he has to program code to make the images make animations and do damage, right?? And then he needs to alpha test, then beta test with us!

Cyclops. He is an interesting choice that I have wondered why he was picked in the first place. But, I think its great he's next. To tell you the truth, most of the characters that people hate the most are actually some of the better fighters (eg: Zangief in every streetfighter out there). Anyway, good luck with the programming. And take your time...the game is already fun, just make sure there's no errors, and that's all I can ask from anyone.
