I meant, Akuma does NOT have everything. He has a lot of good moves, I admit, and some great combos, but he isn't better than Ken or Ryu. Ken has focused his fighting style on close combat (Shoryuken) and therefore improved it to the maximum extent. His training in thoses areas gave him advanced speed, defence and comboability. Even though he doesn't get a dark/evil side to him, he doesn't need it, and never will. Ryu has all the moves, though, some are raw and less effective than others. He has nice strength, defence, and Vitality, but not the best speed. He also has an evil side. Sakura has completely raw, but VERY effective attacks. Nice comboability, and speed, and great defence, and she has a dark side. Although, I prefer her normal side. Akuma has almost everything put together, except that the attacks have a pure evil power in them. Thusly, his strength is high, and so is his speed. But his Vitality and defence are lower than some, and they lower his standards. Basically, my point is, is that everyone, including Akuma, has their weakpoints. Akuma's actually hurts a lot of "professional" Akuma players. Sakura having no aerial Hypers hurts the players that use her frequently (like me...). Ken having no projectile hypers hurts all Ryu lovers who want to try Ken. Ryu being slower than some, and having massive recovery lag after certain attacks hurts some people horribly. Akuma's lower defence, some of his attack lag (into and out of), and his range hurt him so...
But still, you be the judge of how you use those disadvantages. (.... some people are able to over come pain and anguish, vanquish their faults, and grasp the light of power. Can you do it? Or will you fail like the many others...?) :sleeping:

Don't think Dan doesn't have weaknesses. He has a *very* low range, a large amount of strength, and an ok speed, but a low defense (but not as low as Akuma's... thank the lord...). Though, Dan does have 5 hypers, all have extreme performance lag, and/or recovery lag. Same goes with all of his special moves. Although, his strength makes up for his range. But seriously, in a world where Cable roams around, he's gonna have to use a lot of technique to live through the battles.... But I'm not saying you're not good with him. Although, I would like to find out. ^.~

Psh.... I wipe out sooo many Akuma players with either Sakura (MvSF) or Roll (MvC2). He's definitely not match for the utterly, overlooked me.

Third of all the best character to fight Shin Akuma in CvS2 is, unbelivably... Dan with K-groove... the damage you get from S. Akuma goes into the super bar, and Dan's supers are just about [i:post_uid8]the only thing that S. Akuma's weak against[/i:post_uid8]! In fact, Dan's the only char. I beat him with! Fourth of all, a place to find an MvC2 arcade machine is FunTime America. Phew! I can't believe I wrote all that, considering that I hate writing...

My my my u know your stuff roll but when you said he is not better than ken or ryu :lol: come on now Akuma and his brother learned the Shoryken from thier master Goutetsu and he even taught akuma and his brother Gouken 3 deadly moves (not the raging demon) akuma thought it was foolish cause of the fact his ancestors banned it to be ever used again so he went behind ther backs and learned the move during the time akumas brother gouken took on 4 pupils Dan,Ryu,Ken and Retsu dan and retsu left early and since there was only two
(ken,ryu) it was much easier he taught them every thing(except the 3 deadly moves whicth he left out) but thier training came to a dreadfull end when thier master was killed by akuma by using the raging demon (akuma also killed his master Goutetsu with the same move) Ryu,and ken know that Akuma had Mastered (keyword MASTERED) the Shoryken and took in the dark hendou wicth turned him somewhat into a
demon which made him twice as stroung so akuma travels the world for great fighters like ryu he has no need for ken he knows ryu is stroung but is not sure if he should kill him our make him evil even in the move Sreet fighter Alpha he tells him that in order to fight him he must use the dark hendou
so Ryu and ken are no macth for akuma as for sakura who takes ryu as her rolemodle she is like a female version of ryu but still no threat to akuma only ryu is what akuma wants so he is the greatest and has everything :sneaky:

Ahem... look at the underlined part. Now, since we're talking about the movie, they never made a movie featuring Sakura fighting (I think) and in the game MvsSF, DARK Sakura was teamed up with Gouki (Akuma) as his EQUAL in the secret battle. Sakura is a match for Akuma in CvS, CvS2, Sfa2, Sfa3, MvSF, MvC2... so is everyone else. It just depends on what/who you're playing, and the level of difficulty. But still, Akuma and Sakura aren't very similar, although, she gained the ability to do a raging demon and to transform into her dark form. This was a big impact on the fighting series, because now they had two forms of fighting. With Dark Sakura, you get extremely high strength(Way higher than Akuma's), great comboability, instant (!) Shinkuu Hadouken, good speed, and (like Akuma) Bad vitality and defense. With Normal Sakura, you get moderate of everything except speed, strength and Vitality. Speed is a bit higher, and strength as well. Her vitality is a bit lower than the rest, and is a bad thing, but her ability to go through projectiles made up for that, along with the fact that all her basic attacks can be performed in the air. But Akuma fights that with his aerial Hyper. So basically, Akuma and Sakura are Rivaling in MvSF and MvC2.

u say that dark sukra is in CAPCOM VS SNK or not cause i only saw the regular sukara but if she is and u are right what u said about her then that adds another fighter on my list to kick my friend ass with :corky:

Did I say Dark Sakura was in CvS? Oh my... (checks her last reply) wait... no I didn't, wacko! I said SAKURA. Not DARK SAKURA. And I am right about Dark Sakura being more powerful, but losing a lot of her vitality and defence. Even though Dark Sakura has horizontal projectiles, she loses the protection from the ground shouoken.
Street Fighter Alpha 2 & 3 proves that Sakura has bested Ryu in many ways, especially dancing.

well my friend has CvsS2 and i notice sakura but never used her but i am wondering ryu is better than evil ryu to me in the game but is sakura better than dark sakura? oh and thanks for all the info about sakura she seems like a good player i will have to check her out
