Aight.. well, I got a question for everyone who's posting here. How many of you actually MADE your avatars? And I don't mean "borrowing" sprites or frames either... I mean actually made everything you see as your avatar 100%.

that's what i ove in someone's avatar or banner...
when it's 100% original and truly your's !

i mean, everyone can go and fire up their favorite paint program and do a great avatar and banner with still shots he had... but they still aren't 100% orignal as everyone else could easily be doing the same.

that's why i love those who really drawed their avatar and banner or simply take the time to rip the sprites from the different games and made a lot of changes, made some more GFX and bringned them back together... still not 100% theirs, but still is better then simply taking a GIF of GOHAN FIRING UP a blast and claiming THEIR avatar is cool !

for my part, it took me about 5 hours to make my banner frame by frame (that includes the transition even tho PSP5.5 did them)

then i had to take 2 more hours to rip the 32x32 avatar and modify it a little to give what i now have !

think its good enough !
not gonna change it for a big while... it's too damn my DB:LS on character that picture ! :biggrin:

I finaly found a magneto avatar hehe so happy :buttrock: :D

Drew it? Hell no... I can't draw for ####. I did manage to use a pic of myself, make it a LOT smaller (into a near 16X16), then "animate" the thing into what you used to see... but that was deformed, and just couldn't get the animation right again... so I gave up and put that deformed thing up as my avatar for a while.

Until today when I added somewhere around 2 hrs. to the original 8 or so (not sure if that was 8 hrs on the face or body... seems like it took me days for the body). But yeah, I poored a lot into that avatar (which would be me, 'cept animated and hair changed... missing some acne, and above all, HEAVILY modified).

Mines' 100% Original!

My old one was 250% original~! :p :buttrock: But because my hosting service had problems, I had to use this one.... and it`s pretty cool.. :laughlong:
