mass falls until it reaches a certain speed appropiate for mass and then cant accelerate more than the current velocity
|
Well, I didn't specify a specific weight now did I?

the weight doesnt matter period, a object thats a ton couldnt reach the speed of light falling two thousand miles straight down, it would gain velocity, and then stay at the max velocity when it gets to it |
physicals, quit making a dumbass out of yourself.
Okay, here is Einstein's theory of Relativity, because nobody seems to know it. Speed and time are connected. The faster you go, the slower time progresses to an outside observer of you. This means that effectively what is one day to you if you travel near the speed of light is actually 1 year to them, making you effectively travel forward in time, and by the perspective of others not actually travel at the speed of light. Also connected to this is that the perception of objects is connected with speed. As one goes faster the perception of objects is stretched, making objects appear much longer than they are. Now can we have a serious debate? |
It's not possible, I mean it doesn't take long before you have to take a good breather. Imagine traveling at the speed of light. *goes a short distance* *heart attack*
And imagine a test rocket used for training to go in to speed. These things travel so fast they make you dizzy. This is no where near the speed of light. Imagine what would happen if you traveled at the speed of light.... Your brain would melt, your blatter would burn due to oer-calorie burning. I don't know though. It could happen. Not likely. |
I just used a person in the example, but let's make it inanimate so that there are no nauseating problems with it. Is it possible for an object to reach the speed to light (other than light itself) by the perspective of an outside observer? Also not taking to account it would explode from the energy absorbed?
|
i think it will be possible someday near the 5xxx year future !
otherwise i think it is simply not possible... by mantally, i was meaning the miind of an individual can travel at that speed ! |
Well of course you can think of traveling at the speed of light, anyone can.
*thinks of a topic to follow through* |
:plain: Did anybody read my explanation of Einstein's theory of Relativity, or are you all effectively ignoring me?
|
Just a question, how fast are gallexies moving appart?
