Well.. what can i say... we're down...

as i was updating to the new versin of the game (0.6b ... which would include a playable version of Onslaught) the hosting plan/company that we were using finally cut us off... (at 35,000+ hits per week, and over 210,000 users... i'm VERY surprised we went on this long)

currently, neither myself or lefty can handle these hits for the 7.5 meg file of the game (that is why we were using OTHER servers all this time to host the main shockwave file of) ... in addition, i simply cannot afford to dump even MORE money on maintainig this "100% free" project that brings in no cash what so ever...

not sure what else to add.. but.. until further notice (hours.. days... weeks .. months ??) we are down... for good...

... very little can be said outside of what u'll find on the main page of our site... nevertheless, it is interesting to see the view of marve| fans on this matter...

the only thing this site ever tried to provide was a little tribute to the great minds behind the marve| characters... but, i suppose this was not enough...

as you have read, any and all attempts to find ways to keep the site up and running have either failed, or were turned down by marve|'s licensing department...

nothing more can be done on our part, thus, any and all marve| related content has been removed from the site...

as i'm sure the Official Discusssion about this will become quite lengthy and heated, i only ask for you all to please keep your comments tasteful, and not do anything which may provoke marve| Enterprises in thinking that we did not comply with their demands or disagree with their wishes...

what i personally think of this matter is NOT important... this site has always been made by and more importantly FOR the fans... and only they have anything to lose at this point...

No thats when xmvssf went down because of marve|. He's talking about the fact that marve| and capcom (the companies) are not together any more. Which is the reason why marve| vs capcom 3 won't come out.

ive got marve| vs capcom 2 and i really enjoyed, its a shame a hird one wont come out. :(
