Funny thing is... it doesn't really matter you know.
Ever since the creation of PX.. or better yet, XvsSF, Ryu has always been the most balanced and versatile character in the game. If you look through histroy, he's the character that has gone through teh least amount of tweaking. Even when TMyApp adds a new character.. Ryu remains untouched. It's only normal to say that he has the capability to take out any shotokan character in this game. And whoever said that satsu version of Ryu was worse is totally incorrect. Ever since a certain admin helped by a VIP had a special meeting with TMyApp, evil ryu has become FAR better in this game than in any other game he's featured in. Why?? Simple.. He has the ability to fight in both forms. You can't tell if he's about to throw an aerial shinkuu hadouken or a temma gou zankuu. And the fact that he can also do the shun goku satsu.. and what have you got?? The most feared character in this game. Akuma doesn't even come close to defeating Evil Ryu in this game. And as TJ5 said, Ken's moves ... especially his supers leave him open for counter attacks that could really hurt badly. Take the shinryuken for instance. If you miss that move and you're not lagging ur opponent, it leaves you open and vulnerable to a shinkuu hadouken. Akuma's temma gou zankuu can be easily countered by an aerial shinkuu hadouken and his aerial fireballs.. or gou zankuus can be countered by a normal fast or slow paced aerial hadouken. So anyway you look at it, Evil ryu seems to best shoto in the game :biggrin: |

the only reason i made this poll was because my friend said akuma was the best shoto and i said ryu and then i made the poll now i won :)

invent the move.. what the hell?? Ryu nor Gouki didn't make any or their moves... Gouki learned from gotetsu Ryu learned from gouken (Gouki's brother) it's a fighting style thats been passing down for a long time... |
