Just to keep you up to date, servers mamy go down, and isn't accessible. Most likely try SFO Backup Server or SFO Tournament Server. Those ones are open most.

[quote:post_uid0="Dark_Paladin_X"][quote:post_uid0="nightmare1"]every time i want to join a game on any server it tells me i cant for some reason...

P.S. im new so i dont know if this was posted before or not[/quote]
Do you have a router and/or firewall?
-If so, in the main menu of the game, Click "Options". Then "Network", and check off "I am behind a firewall or proxy". When you click it, another check will auto-check. Make sure "old connection mode (for firewalls)" is it.

This may also be a factor. Your Port Number. Once again, click Opitons>>>Network. and look at your "Use Port" number. For most people, it's port number 1626, and the sec port is 1627. That's for some people, for others, the port numbers would likely set themselves.

Check that out and see if there's still a problem.

Ok. A router is a device that splits the internet connection to other soucres (i.e. more than 1 computer).

A firewall, protects your computer from unwanted intrusions, hackers, etc. If you don't know what firewall program you have, search your computer for it.

If you have 1 or both, then you won't be able to host. Regardless, with certain computer/programs, you can host with a firewall. But i dunno off the back of my head.
