pip is right. For me anyway a clan made this game more fun, if i wasn't in a clan i prolly would have left a while ago. Untill you have actually been in one you can't say they are good or bad. Its like saying i don't like sushi even though you've never tried it.

Also i don't think clans are NEEDED the onlt thing that is really needed is the game and some users, actually if you really want to get into what is needed and whats not neededyou may want to think about if your own existence is even needed. Will the world not be able to survive with out you, i doubt it, wil the game die without clans i doubt it.

although KARMA made a valid argument, the clan thing can also be compared to a family

its like...WHY DO WE NEED FAMILIES or WHAT FAMILIES FOR? WHY CANT WE JUST LIVE ON OUR OWN?

well all i can say is this. joining the samurai clan was and always will be a great experience in this game for me. we are no ordinary clan. we are a clan that thrives on quality not quanity. we actually help each other get better. my good leader haohmaru2 actually helped me gain extra skillz even though i thought i couldnt get any better. we train each other, enter tourneys, make banners for each other, give out helpful info, and more. and if u dont believe me about training each other then take a look at me and aftermath. i actually helped him gain more skillz and experience. now some people say that his skillz rival mines.


so basically clans are and arent needed. it depends on the type of person you are.

i read all your posts... and still, i don't see the need for clans !

if i wanna fight people, i just get in the game and ask for fights,and believe me, i have lots of them !

tag matches lag like hell, i can't even compete in tag matches !

example:
MY PING (hosting) = around 60-100
MY PING (joining) = around 300-600
MY PING (TAG, HOSTING) = ? don't know i never did it !
MY PING (TAG, JOINING) = over 1500 at all time !

i ask you, how can you love that kind of game ?
no wonder that all clans says there are tons of lag in the game !

like i said, CLANS being like FAMILY ?
i doubt it... i actually need my family and i don'T know what i would do without them.
CLANS, its far from being a family and i don't see what is so cool in having clan friends ? compared to FORUM FRIENDS who happens to play the game as much as myself !

also... i don't play that game much, why because i like it, and even tho you people think i lost interest in it. i assure you that i didn't ! i was playing a lot more when i started, mainly due to the fact that i wasn't passing an hour before playing in the forum !

but interest in the game is still the same cause the game is different from any other game i've played !

all that mater is finding a way to love things around here !
if you guys love clans and that's what makes you happy with the game, then i say that its not the game who makes you happy, its having friends and nothing else !

anyway...
i'm not saying anything about clan members.
you are happy with your things and that's all that mater !

which clans there are and who is the masters and members of them all ?
give me links to their web pages and i'll look into it, but i doubt i will ever join one !

CLANS are very unlike FAMILIES, if you call that family then its because you got a big problems with yours and you need a replacement one !

karma, youre basically combining the concept of CLAN of this game and the word CLAN where it actually originated from

of were talking about clan of this game then DEFINTELY not my kinda family

but the CLAN im talking about is the REAL clan
i dont even know why the WORD CLAN is used in this game bcoz in reality, CLAN is really about long dynasty of families that has very deep roots and role in their community

btw, i dont need replacements on the family that i have right now :sarcasm:
