well they dont always fight on the street ive seen them fight on a boat before

A streetfighter is a person that fight's dirty. They like fight's with out rules and regulations. In the Japaneese Anime of street fighter Ken and Ryu were tired of fighting in tournaments with rules because there was no challange so they quit, but one day both of them got there asses kicked By Guile (not on the same day really though ryu first beacuse Ken stood back and watched saying he fight's with honor and doesn't gang up on people when they are beating the crap out of his friends) who was a street fighter at the time ( Ken even after his intense traing) the day after guile fought ryu........before they thought that they could have easily defeated guile seen to that they both were world martial arts champions but boy were they wrong especially ryu. They learned from guile that street fighters are fighters that were above the normal fighters that they fought in tournaments (they kicked your ass by any means possible Guile threw sand it ken eye's when they fought and ken said hey that wasn't fair or some #### like that....then Guile said hey isn't this a street fight I don't remember there being any rules in a street fights or something like that) who fought with rules and honor and crap like that........So that set off on a quest to improve thier skill without just fighting in martial arts tournaments because fight's with out rules to them made them better and stronger. And thats how street fighter really got it's name atleast to me and it really makes scence if you think about it that way......anyway don't belive me watch the animated series from japan.

It's never been shown on american tv before so either your gonna have to buy the video tapes, DVD's or download them from KAzza if it's there if you want to learn more. I quit watching the series It's to long and expensive for me :D but it's on Par with the DBZ series ( :p maybe even better no offence ot DBZ fans but DBZ is to you know fake like htf can someone blow up the universe :hmmm: thats a bunch of crap ) you should watch it :D it's a Manga
