Imust agree with darkpicolo.I have that honor of fighting you once.You were a true warrior and you did what you could have only done by not putting a limit on your mind.I have to say that you are another person that's spirit could never be touched nor broken nor crushed so easily if at all.I was looking forward to fighting a vet like you again.However now I won't have a chance ??? :( Even though you can't see this I wish you the BEST IN YOUR LIFE!!!! :alien: :D Sorry I can't say any more If I do I will really crie til it hurts more than I can bear. :( Sorry but I hope I can 1 day measure my steps to tarkans or spirit.I think I knew how he felt a lil about wanting to become stronger and prove himself..

well... i am a little surprised...but in away... i'm not...

... since Tarkan couldn't/didn't play the game for so long (or @least wasn't as active l8tely) and the fact that the whole community is falling appart... these things should be expected...

in fact, i think we will lose a few more "old timers" between now and the next few months... (or weeks ??)

for some.. it will be the lag/bugs (u can only take so much ??) for others.. the lack of updates (or the long wait between them)... but in the end, it will probably be one thing: the game itself...

XvsSF is not a MMORPG... or even Quake... the replay value is only so much (quite good for some, so-so for others)...

from a developer point of view... it is kinda' sad... anyone who makes a game wishes that it would be played by all forever... but... form the gamer's perspective... i hardly play any games for more than a 2 months... so... i really can't expect anything more from most of the players...

constant updates do keep a game alive (something that has and will be a bit of a problem over the next few weeks/months... since i am no longer able to put in 30+ hours of work per week into this project) but every game has its limit... b4 the only thing u can do is.... well... make another game :biggrin:

... i've seen it all... from people who quit after giving the game a chance for only a few minutes... to diehard mods who (used) to spend every waking moment in the game and the community... all.. vanish...

what can i say... all that i can do is one thing... keep the game alive at all costs (which are quite high l8tely)...

next update: Sept 30th... who knows how many of us will be around by then...

No...Everytime i went into the chatroom and i seen TarkanX he was so nice...this was a few months back. I hate to see another vet leave this game/forum. I wish you would stay but i cant do anything about it. I considered you as one of the best fighters around. I really hate seeing you leave. :( Bye and good luck on whatever your doing :(

And so TarkanX passes on to become another "legendary" fighter.. I didn't expect him to last this long... and I serioursly doubt more then a half a dozen will ever last a year.

Everyone gets bored with a game... everyone leaves eventually... and nothing lasts.

there was a difference between FORUM and GAME !

he perhaps retired from the game but he was still in the community, talking to us ! now he,s gone for good, or is he ? none can say, i've seen so much vets coming back after 3 or 4 months just to see where the game has gone to. maybe, maybe he will come back. even if it's just to see the game it self and just to know ehre it will be. i consider doing a game lots of work, but being as good player is harder to be.

from nothing, he became a living legend !

only a couple of us will actually get that level, but there is something in all this can keep me coming in. we all find our way like that to keep coming here, but when there is nothing new in about 2 month, you just quit. and that's what he did !

but like i said. HE WILL COME BACK someday even if its just to see where it has gone to !
