Thanks for the replies, Im sure its not viruses and spyware/adware. I have the downloaded version of the game. Can you please help, is there anything to do?
|
so.. um... does your game still freezes with the d/l version of the game? Does it freezes during the game? If it freezes during the game, please let us know what character it freezes on (ie: when you select Ryu)
Go to your SFO folder that you should have created and see what files you got, you should have: sfo12d.exe cWolverine.cct cChunLi.cct cCyclops.cct cHSentinel.cct cMusicb.cct cOnslaught.cct cRyu.cct cSounds.cct cBack2b.cct cSpiderman.cct cHelpers.cct cAkuma.cct cKen2.cct cBison.cct Most of the time when your game freezes on a character, you may be missing a file for that character that your game frozed on. Maybe the videos below can help you out. http://www.maximumspider.com/help1.avi (D/L MOVIE 1) http://www.maximumspider.com/help2.avi (D/L MOVIE 2) Having codec problems?? go to the link below. http://www.divx.com/divx/download/ It's kind of outdated.. so don't get freaked out when you see sfo11c.exe  |
It doesn't freeze, it just goes in extremly slow motion when in the fighting scene, where you have to fight, I've only fought with ryu, againts that girl. It used to work before....
|
You sure the person didn't select normal mode? =/
|
What do you mean normal mode? How do I say this, it goes extremly slow during gameplay, when you are susposed to fight somebody. My whole computer goes really slow when fighting.

Man, I think its sad that I can't play this game, and no one can help me, what are the system requirments? Are they above 256 MB Ram, 57.6 Connection, 1500 MHZ, 1.50 GHZ, and if I am above these then why does my computer operate so slowly while playing this game? Also 1 more thing, I am not playing on full screen, I have sound off, and backgrounds off and same result.

Well.. you can try playing the web version. Anyways, here is more information on this "computer running slow" thing
1: turn off programs you don't need while fighting (ie: AIM, MSN) 2: turn off sound, music, and select no background (you can do that by going to "Options" and then click on the "other" tab to turn on "no background" and for music/sound select "sound" ) 3: use the d/l version of the game or make sure screen small when using the web-version 4: be the host 5: start fighting in servers with the less people are in 6: close out some .exe files using the Task manager (you shouldn't do this if you don't know your files on your computer because you might just exit something out that doesn't/shouldn't be exited out) 7: disk defragmenting your files |
go to ur internet options and click temorary files, A new window will open, where it says: "check for newer versions of stored pages?" That should be set to "Automatically" or "Never".
If it is set to "Automatically" and your browser still makes you download the game every time you try to play SFO, then change the setting to "Never". At the bottom of the same window you'll see a slider for the "Amount of disk space to use?" Make sure that is set to 100mb+ through 200mb+ Click "OK" and you'r done. |
