how fast would it run?
if youdid update it's coding to include dreamcast again, becuase i would mind having to use linux to run it, and i would move rather perfer a keyboard than those controllers with only 4 face buttons. |
Karma: Can you post some pics of SFO on DC? I've wanted to try it, but when I got a DC (about 7 months after XvS first came), I forgot about playing XvSF on a DC.

Sorry TarkanX, i don't have any web cams or numeric materic to do it.
the worst part is, it did work back in 2001, very slowly and very buggy, but it did work, but as the game kept going, the DC itself stopped following, thus when we reached SHOCKWAVE 7.0 the game started to go even more impossibly ! now werre on 8.5 and things starts, but they seem not to be going further then the loading ! probably because the game itself is now too big to be played entirely in the memory of the DC. CONCLUSION, it loads, but stops after a while ! its too bad cause i was glad to try it back then, wonder what it does now a day, i'll try and pick up my mothers cam and try it int he next few days, how about that ? |
err... XvsSF was done on Shockwave 8.0 (ie: 7.0 was never used  )
but, i really dont' see much of a point of running SFO on a Dreamcast... as said.. it will never be as fast as a computer, and the bugs that it will have... i can't even imagine  |
