What is up with you people. It isn't the modem that matters, it's the computer. I have a cable modem, and I have the slowest game in the community. No one plays with 9 fps, as i do.

heh i keep telling my dad that. but does he listen? no. i have pentium 3 he has pentium 4. i did i test on the internet speed.

i have 10 mbps he has 100 mbps

tsk tsk tsk u guys have no respect to this guy... bloodpack just says top 5 list is a dumb idea.. unless u have something planned. His idea would be more accurate... (ex. basketball: most rebounds, most shot percentage, most attempt, etc.) he was trying to help the people and he has nothing to be jealous about :hmmm: anyway .. continue :D

i agree a little on what bloodpack said...

its true that thos efighters busted their asses to get that kind of glory...
but people like me that fights only once in a week and sometimes only 1 in two weeks... will never get those glory rewards... that's what he meant. myself will never be seen on those lists. why because i will never fight those who actually talk in here. why, because i'm playing around 2 AM the morning !

a good example of what bloodpack mean...
when you look at the GOLDEN GLOBE'S award...
do they make only one CATEGORY in which nominey have a chance to be winner ?
no... they have a lot of categories !

listen, i don't bitch about it either... you have a big project coming soon, do it. i really hope to see this project coming to a final stage ! (too few project gets that far) i will be with you too.

but by top 5 players...
you actually ask that only those who play about 40 times in a week have a chance to get nominated. you could at least got that to 10, it would have been a little more accurate.

but like i said...
its not gonna be taken as a BLAME or saying your wrong... you have the same right to dot hat as bloodpack as to say his opinion !

you know... i wonder if would be in any of the sus mentionned category ?
maybe i could get a chance to at least get famous around the place for at least one thing ! :colgate:

the modem, the computer doesn't make the winner...
i had an OLD AMD K6/2 500mhz with a connection under 33,6k and i still got a lot of wins !
its tru that i have a better computer now, but i still have the connection i had. still, i have about the same WIN/LOSS ratio i had.

you're actually simply giving you a reason to lose to someone and that kind of thought will eventually lead to a nobish flaming thread about how some person beated you just because they had better computers, which is definitely not the case.

example of that... (its actually true)
i had less lag then someone who was cable at some point in the game.
i have to make you remember that i have a damn 33,6k modem !
which is 2x lesser then a 56k
which suppose to mean a lot more lag.

conclusion: the internet make the lag, you make the skill, the computer has about only 15% anything to do with the way you play.

must i remember you that if your the type that use HELPERS only to defend against SUPERS, then you deserves to lose ! that's how i was playing until i saw people use them as ATTACKERS ! then and only then was i able to get my WIN/LOST ratio up a notch !
