But trust them? Trust them to do what? EVERYONE here who wants to be a mod (aside from the ####s) wants the same thing: End spam, ban spammers, clean up the topics, and make the forum a better and more enjoyable place to post.

On my forum, if I need a new mod, I pick the most responsible, most intelligent guy on the forum and ask them. If they dont' want to, then I move on, it's that simple. But what's he afraid of a mod doing? Deleting the forum? Going on a power trip and banning everyone? If he does that, all TMy has to do is 1) revoke his modship and ban him 2) just remove the banned names/IPs from the list and finally 3) make sure he doesn't "hire" someone who'd do such a thing.

I for one know that I would clean up this forum and get rid of all spam and such. I have the same feeling that Tarkan or Dan Hibiki or princevegetam or NoSoul (if he starts posting here again) would be good mods.

But really, until additional mods are appointed, none of the current mods should complain about their job is so hard, because it'll be in vain. all the problems can be solved right now. All TMy has to do is make the decision: who's it gonna be?
