Gothic, Yes it lags, it'll lag even more if you're downlaoding...
And SSJKarma, I've already tried that before. Nferno allready told me about it... But, when I use a big screen, I actually LAG LESS than the small one... But I still lag more... And LordCyris, If both of the people lag, then how come it tok them both 22 hadokuns and took me more? Someone else please do another test for me and tell me if you get "22 hadokuns" result! (I've also tried it on Barney)! |
playing fullscreen doesn't change lag on the other end !
it changes it on your end ! ok tmy i know that you say lag is the same on each end but i dont think that way ! since there is a client and a server i think the lag can be different on each end ! try this, record a game then look at it and you'll see that what the recorded has is different than what you saw in the match ! at least on my computer so like ####### i think that lag isn't the same on both end ! |
####, I wish it was.. cuz Im tired of losing!
And yo TMyApp, I've asked but before, but I got no answer, so ill ask again. "When the Full version comes out, will it stop lagging? or will it lag even more due to more charactors?" |
first of all ####### play the game more then you post =)
second no one hosts a game its peer to peer connection (can i say that? tmyapp?) so the lag u get is the lag he gets and even if u have 2 cable connections becuase of distance there will be lag hello!!??? am i the only one who pays attention to all the online multiplayer games? |
No, I play BZ2 and I have a ping of 250+ when I face my friends in Toronto, but if I play some guy in England, ugh...
|
ok, maybe i was wrongfully understanded ?
i didnt say that lag was way different on each machine, i did say that i think that lag isn't the same on two separate machine ! for the we are connected directly (peer to peer) i dont think so. i know it is, but a third party member come in the equation, INTERNET (multiple machine interconnected to form a really big network) the information doesn't go directly to the other computer it passes throught other server in the network to find the best route, the best route isn't always the fastest on internet ! if im wrong, then say it, tell me your pov and ill change my mind but for now that's the way i think it works ! TMYAPP: tell me more on the principle of the game connnection... server = the comp where we download the game client = the PART of the game we have exactly what do we download when we install the game into cache? |
