ur posting dis juz becuz itz laggy :shocked: , doesnt matter if it'z laggy or not atleast it workz ??? search for a shockwave download at www.google.ca and don't be lazy searching for it, it can't kill u :D

I have shockwave 10 I don't experince any problems there may be a bug. I mean you should update shockwave frequently.^_^

no im posting bcz shockwave 10 dont work for me u moron, and i have looked in the web but it keeps linking me to the latest version, so next time think b4 u speak ####, btw this can be closed now, i got the previous version and it works fine.

i need a download for shockwave 8.. or do i? i redownloaded everything and made sure that my shockwave was fine, and it is. but i still can't play my downloaded sfo. could there just be something wrong with my browser or somethin?

its because the shockwave player 10 doesnt read sfo the players that do are 8 and maybe 7 so enyone who has
a shockwave player 8 install can be gratly aprecited if he email to me :

Macromedia sucks... thats u'r answer...

i had the same problem with my main development system... solution? just hit "cancel" when it asks u to fix the errors... also, if the game just comes up with a black screen, delete "Control.dll" in the game dir... and that should get things going again...

side note, on my other test system, which went from "nothing" to Shockwave 10, there were no problems...

my best guess is that there is a problem updating from 8.x to 10...

... no issues with the web version though...

Neosoul: i'll need a better description of the error (ie: exact error message) as well as what happens before/after you get the error...

just a question...

why taking the chances of playing with the shockwave player, when you can just use the flash one which is the same except there is no real soft, its just the dll's to make it work !

in any case, i never updated my flash players... except when shockwave itself was telling me to. and i never had any problems with it !

you're answer is...
why updating if everything is fine ?

its the same question as this old one everyone knows about...
why changing something that works fine ?
