[quote:post_uid0="Virtual Fighter"][quote:post_uid0="Dan Hibiki"]Oh, and just recently, did you know that your neighborhood gang can now buy assault weapons? The ban on assault weapons has lifted, and now they are available for purchase. Why did the provisions expire? Because bush wouldn't pressure congress to pass it again. Now, our streets are less safe thanks to him.
oh great... its the holywood bank murderer all over again.. *for those of you who dont know, the thing i was reffering to was when 3 men ransacked a bank, shot up police with a automatic gun, and could not get hit because of their armor. they killed 13 people.*
I believe that was actually two people, but I know what you're talking about. Horrible event. I saw a special on it on MSNBC. Those people were so heavily armed and armored, bullets bounce off of them and the police needed to raid a nearby weapons store for more powerful weapons to fight them. That can happen again, thanks to bush. iTALY: all bush can do is attack John Kerry. "He threw away his medals," this, and, "No he really wasn't under attack when he received those medals," that (which, incidentally, is a lie), and, "I voted for the $87 billion before I voted against it," twisting of words. It's all they can do, because they have a record to run from. Check out those books. If you dislike bush, or are neutral, they'll open your eyes to what's going on in the bush White House. |
my golbal hist teacher showed me this book in class 'all that is evil' by bush or sum1 associated with him. the man said its a scary book like mein kampf. u know anything bout that one dan? i couldnt find it anywhere.

Hibiki, Hibiki, Hibiki... After all the chats and debates and such we've had, you call Republicans all those bad things? I'm a Republican! Am I all those BAD things you mentioned? Hmm? You're just mad because Giefy owns Dan...
Anyways, back to the topic, I'd have to say that if bush has Dyslexia(sp), what of it? Is it right to diss someone simply because they have a reading disorder? I think it takes a bit of courage to go and make public speeches on T.V. that anyone in the world can get a hold of when you have a disorder such as Dyslexia. At least bush doesn't flip-flop all the time. Since SUV's are more expensive to buy and better for industrialists, he tells them he has one. but, when the environmentalists talk about howbad they are for the environment, he tells them he doesn't have one. bush may have lied before, but at least he keeps telling the same lie over and over again without changing midstream. At least we know what he's going to do. You can't say that for Kerry. Kerry doesn't care about America. The only good Democratic president I can think of that we've ever had was Clinton, and he ended up screwing up, too. Oh, and I forgot... It isn't bush's job to pressure Congress into passing the law for automatic weapons. It's Congress' job to just do it. bush said he'd sign it, and he would have. Congress dropped the ball. Not bush. *Cough*Vote me to be your President.*Cough* :unclesam: Edited By blaze985 on 1095422646 |
SolidSnake: I dunno. Haven't heard of that. I'll look into it.
blaze: Kerry doesn't flip-flop as much as the RNC would like you to think. He has flip-flopped before, but at least we know that he DOESN'T stand where bush stands. How can you say Kerry doesn't care about America, when he went to Viet Nam and fought for America, and was wounded 3 times? You're incorrect about bush and assault weapons. It IS his job to pressure congress to do what he wants. Just saying that he'd sign it isn't pressure. He should've pressured them, and gotten the bill to pass, and he did not do that. He caved into pressure from the NRA and let it slide. Now we are less safe than before, thanks to him. Oh, and this too... I don't want a president that can't read or say things right. Leads to serious problems with relations with other countries. Personally, I think that bush is an idiot too, and that's what most of the WORLD thinks. Can you ignore all of the horrible things that bush has done? Iraq? Screwing up the economy? Assault weapons ban lifted? Whether or not you think it was his fault, it happened on his watch, and thusly IS his fault. And the horrible rederick coming out of the Republican camp? It is almost beyond my comprehension how a person can be a republican in these times. Edit: SolidSnake, is this it? The president of good & evil : the ethics of George W. bush by Peter Singer Haven't read it. I don't know. Might want to check the content when you find it to see if it is what your acquaintance was talking about. Edited By Dan Hibiki on 1095439735 |
Have anyone seen that 9-11 movie? It speaks for itself why George bush shouldn't be a president any longer.

Welly well well.. not that this is my strongest field.. but it doesn't hurt to add my two cents here and there.
All I have to say is.. the so-called freedom fight in Iraq gives enough reason why this so-called decisive president who thinks making decisions when they count is what matters (not even thinking whether or not these decisions are right) shouldn't have a second term. Nowbefore anyone quotes me.. I seriously believe in what the word of God says about praying for our leaders.. and I sincerely hope that bush is well and his family doesn't see any harm.. or no harm should come their way. However, you look at that and think about the 1000 or so troops that have lost their lives in the unnecessary war in Iraq and you begin to wonder.. what the hell was he thinking?? I mean.. they didn't wait for the UN investigators to do their job.. they just went ahead and unleashed hell on those folks. If you think about it, the US might be doing more harm to it's own land than good. Why?? If you look at the teenagers that would surivive this ordeal caused by the USA, those would be the ones who would bear an unreal grudge against the US and would want to commit "terrorist acts" against the country that scarred them years ago. That's exactly how it starts.. and once reality kicks in, the USA would begin to know that Newton wasn't talking Jazz when he said for every action there is an equal but opposite reaction. George bush keeps on talking about how he has created jobs.. but if you look closely at the economy, you'll notice that the amount of jobs lost FAR exceeds the amount of jobs that are being created. And Dan Hibiki, I'd like to thank you for bringing that assault ban lift thing. When you seriously think of it.. why the hell would you want to have a gun in ur own home. Legalizing weapons such as these are the things that enable the rise of crime in our streets. If you're Mr. A and you know Mr. T *cough* ownz a gun, and you're not sure whether or not he'll rob you, what's stopping you from going to get a gun of yours to try and stop the forseen danger (which has a probability of 1 - 100) from happening. It's all bull crap. Why legalize weapons?? It's not necessary. It would be much safe to know that no one has a gun that to know that at least everyone has one to protect himself or herself. And even though it's the congress' job to pass the law, I thought president was the head of the armed forces/every single poop in this country of America. There are ways to make things that would help your country work possible. As far as I'm concerned, both parties do have their short comings... even though I'm not priviledged enough to pour out that of Kerry's right now.. but the fact remains that Mr. bush has done far more damage than good to have him remain as the president of the USA. |
Hibiki, you're wrong... A statement I wouldn't make without cause, considering you're as smart as you are. As the President, he's the head of the EXECUTIVE BRANCH of government. The Executive Branch does nothing but inforce the laws. Congress (the Legislative Branch) is the one who has the job of creating the laws. Congress is the one to blame for the automatic rifle ban being lifted, not bush.
In addition to that, you speak of how the Republicans do nothing but diss the Democrats. The only thing (and I do mean ONLY) I ever hear Kerry talk about are his stupid medals that mean nothing after he came back home and fought against the Vietnam War and how he thinks he's better than bush in this category or that category. Oh, and about the medals... I know a Vietnam veteran who has read up on the medals Kerry "won." I asked him about them, and he told me how the medals Kerry won are, for the majority, awarded through group efforts. That means Kerry isn't some hero. He's just some dude who happened to be in the right group of people. |
I havent even registered to vote because I really dont care who wins when you get down too it because I dont really like either one of the canidates but on the other hand I dont want bush too win again =\....Ill register when its worth the time...=\
