Marriage is useless, it has no responsibility, and I totally agree with Montalvo, if you want to waste your money, play it on the slots, or something.

I believe it is necessary for two people to get married if they love one another. Once they get married they know they will always be together and will never depart. All people do not do this, so that is why they have the choice to divorce. The ring is a sign of loyalty. It tells your husband/wife that you will not turn on them.

you get married because you love someone........ and because when you ........... you dont have to worry about getting a disease.........

If you marry, it doesn't mean you trully love eachother, why is there divorce? And the ring stands for the man owning the woman, not for loyalty, that's how it was way back when, and that's still how it is today.

If your catholic and want a divoirce your screwed. You cant divorce in the catholic religion(although that wouldnt mean anything to me ). so whats the point in getting married?

We live in America-we don't have arranged marriages. People choose to marry if they love one another. Things have changed big guy. In the South they still may treat women like crap but in the North they're treated respectfully. They have many opportunities now and can live just as freely as men.

montalvo: If I would ever want to divorce, yes I would be screwed. But I'm sure that when I choose to marry a woman, she will be the "one."

Women have unequal oppurtunities everywhere compared to men, though some places have better conditions. Look at Pakistan, Women are just flies, I've seen chains around a womans neck, and a man dragging her. They were killed for cooking poorly, but compared to America, women are almost as good as men are.

Why does the Woman cook, and the man work? It might nt happen to all, but it's majority, the man owns the woman.
