Obviously you don't really care about that as you are using the internet which everyday is cutting down trees and land to put up receptors and telephone lines. Secondly, what about it? Just because some people are going to clone animals, more animals will die? Where's the logic in that? Quote:
You tell me, you look at all the poverty in Africa, Asia and south America and you say "No, I won't give you food because it's cloned. Yuck!" Quote:
Since when do scientists studying in a labratory destroy millions of trees in the rain forest, killing millions of animals? Again, if you REALLY cared, you would stop using the internet as if makes carbon dioxide, which burns the earth's atmosphere, which flips up the global enviornment. Why don't you just stop breathing, while you're at it, since that also destroys the global enviornment. |
im with virtual on this. we need them for transplants, food, and other needs. hell if we really need it, we can even clone them for war so theyd stop recruiting people who dont wanna go but are forced to. u may think its wrong cause its like playing god but just think about it. is there any other way?

Cloning humans not only would be really complicated, it would really be stupid and useless. Cloning animals, well there's something we can do to feed the world.

[quote:post_uid0="(ShinKu_Ryu)"][quote:post_uid0="Virtual Fighter"]Hell yeah i'm for cloning.
If we clone animals we could end world hunger. BUT NOOOOO. all you fliping bible thumpers wouldn't want the world to be fed, now would you?
Im not sure many people would think of eating a cloned animal as (pleasant)...
Actually I'd agree. Although cloning animals good help, I see people refusing to eat something that's be cloned. People are too fussy. Though then again all the cloned stuff could be sent to Africa, they wouldnt complain.. |
If you put up the argument "eww, yucky, clone", then you're REALLY spoiled and have never faced hunger (both literal and hypothetical) in your life.

u know, virtual fighter made a strong point. I didn't consider the fact that we could produce more food and end world hunger. That kind of changes my opinion on cloning.
I'm definitly against the cloning of humans though. But that's the main problem, if they start cloning stuff like animals, eventually that will lead to the cloning of humans, which i'm AGAINST. So even though you think about how we could benefit from cloning, I see some big negatives as well. so it's kind of a half/half thing now. I'm half for it and half against it. |

There is still way too many negatives to just put aside and deal with it later when it actually comes into effect. History should have taught as not to neglect a situation untill it becomes a problem to deal with. Cloning cant be the last and only solution for world hunger, even if it happens i dont think it will help much.. |

even if cloning humans did lead to problems o well. we already have enough problems. yea we could clone animals but that would also be a problem. it would mean more diseases, more animals the pound has to take care of, and other problems. its not like cloning will bring an end to all of our conflicts

I'm all for cloning parts. Parts of healthy humans such as hearts and kidneys for those who need it so they don't die before getting a part. Scientist could clone a part of each blood type.
