Hey tantrum I was here back in december dont get me wrong i really like this game and i support it to the fullest....but there was still lag...and if youre talking about when there was only ryu and chun-li to pick well...you can only say that those players were only the best with those characters not THE GAME..in case you havent noticed the game is not finished yet and that is one of the reasons you cannot decide who is the best in the game.

And also back then you guys were a small group of players where were tupac2westsider, CaSe, SSX....the list goes on and on. Just because they happend to join a little after those "greatest" players means that they can never be looked at as one of the greatest???! Pffft plz!

Hmm, well im not the best at playing this game. Basically one of the best around here who uses 56k. :D

Tantum is right...sort of. There are a few good players now, like myself. I stopped playing because I got into web languages, and the game often made errors on my computer. I see myself as a pretty decent player when it comes to skill.

Virus, I'm talking about Before ToC1, (which was in November) Right before the final match in ToC1 (Me and TarkanX)... a really bad version was released, and it has been super laggy ever since.

P.S. Ask DXZero, He was around during my time, and after, ask him.. who has more skill, Me and TarkanX, or the second generation fighters.

Just because ur living in the old days dosent mean there arnt better fighters now a days.

If one of the second, third, fourth, fifth, sixed or what ever genaration was back in the day when u usto fight would they be better?

Well we really dont know, so u cant just say that the new genaration just plain sucks.

Thinking about the old days gives u a warm feeling inside that will never be replaced. But those are memorie..............

I didn't say the players now suck, I said that you don't have anything relevant to go on anymore... records don't mean a damn thing when you win based on lag, or just kill #####. So, if you wanna go on skill you can see with your own eyes... Like I do, I only rate players from back when you could tell how good they were.

U cant rate todays fighters, because u dont fight no more. But can u really judge them that harshly if u dont play the game no more??

And if u Rate the oldskool fighters how would they stand in todays standerds??

Also i can see why TOCs were important in history, but none of the new fighters where even in them so they never had teh chance to prove themselfs.

If a bigger tournament than TOC comes and A person wins that will he become better that the Vets?

as for skill i think i was up there
i know how this game runs i know where lag comes from and i also know when players are just bs
and i have to say tantum is right to a point
back then we had some awesome players
and now we got ppl who are on a 28k downloading porn from kazaa while fighting :angryfire:
i have seen some good players lately
they know who they are they play for fun only cuase they know their good and dont have to prove it
