i lived in NYC 2 years i didnt seem that bad back then guess this war and the terrorist attacks have changed it

getting a ticket for that crap? now that is just stupid.

maybe its quotas they have to fill (ie, every day, a cop needs to give out X number of tickets...)

in any case, thanx for the warning...seems like instead of stopping recession, its just gonna make it all the worse...

so you're basically saying that nowadays, they give tickets just to fulfill a certain deadline instead of an unnecessary fault committed by a driver .. PATHETIC

i dont think cops gotta fill ticket quotas but maybe they do ... ne way my aunt owns a resturaunt in Queens and they gave a guy a ticket for standing on the side of the road. he was standing like where cars park and the cop said it was obstruction of parking or something. But maybe its just a whole cop consiracy thing...
