the best way to counter spideys kick is with a helper or a projectile. evil ryu would be great for this mission cause his super air fireballs will dominate.

Well......normal Ryu's fireballs are too slow to counter Spidey's kick...he can get hurt but then still keep on doing the air kick without even touching the ground....But if you are using Evil Ryu, it would be OK because his projectiles are fast and he also shoots faster.....But I think the best best way to counter his moves is to super jump, projectiles or trip him with the kick and ground hard punch him up and then shoot him...That's the combo that I always do to beat Spidey or anybody that I fight... ;) Now I hope my skills work for you Elena....and stop being a hillbilly saying "yawl" :laugh:

That has nothing to do with what i am saying? I said maybe he can tweak spideys kick by not letting you ppl who use spidey gain lvl for ur power bar unless you hit me because the person who i was fighting keep doing that move and web ball to gain power to do a varible. And i couldn't do anything Because he turned off helpers and if jumped i would get hit by the web ball or the spidey kick. And does it look like i can use Evil ryu.

all you really have to do is punch him while he's kicking and do a hadouken while he's up in the air if he keeps kicking to get his energy bar up and beat the him up before he can start kicking you again the web balls need tweaking to much range

I don't think that E-Ryu's fireballs are any faster than normal Ryu's. I fight with VIP's, havent won a fight yet but it's usually a good fight, it's usually that ragingdemon attack that gets me in the end. :(
