Well click on control panel>add or remove programs, search the list of programs and click shockwave>remove/change. After uninstalling it you might be able to reinstall by downloading the latest version again.

My friend had the problem one time. And he had to put the files on the desktop, then make the SFO Folder and put the files on the desktop, and put them in the SFO folder "manualy". go to this topic and check out the videos. Also, try re-installing Shockwave 8.5 again. (from http://www.streetfighteronline.com/download.htm Note: Make sure you un-install it first. Edited By Bob~Marley4004 on Aug. 01 2004 at 06:19 |

umm you can always make sure...push alt+control+delete and then click on task manager then goto the processes tab and see if thier is a IEXPLORE.exe running and if their is just right click it and end TASK. but it's best to unistall shockwave 10 if you only have that installed and install 8.5 1st then shockwave 10 over that for less problems. |
I uninstalled Shockwave and did 8.5 and it is still doing it :(
Also I went to processes and it doesn't show iexplorer.exe at all. Edited By TJ5 on Aug. 01 2004 at 23:45 |
Close any other application if you have any running.

Ok I downloaded shockwave 8.5 again and then I shut down my computer and turned it back on. Then I tried to download it without running anything and it still says browsers are open.
