Well why not have a server for 56k users and then at least ppl with a decent line can play decent games and im fed up off 56ks claiming they have adsl or cable so they can play in a tag and then the tag game lags right out u cant call that a game its more of just a mess noone can aim and noone nos whos really where, at least if they had there own server they could only lag each other and most games have a 56k server for the old timers that like dark age speed but for ppl that pay for the extra bandwidth shouldnt be lagged up by the slower users, im not saying get rid of them im saying give them a server to play on so we can actually play a decent game fore once without lag , and as for not having cable or adsl in your area any normal telephone line can be converted to adsl so maybe u should just pay the extra 10 in cash and learn that theres a whole world out there ur just to slow to see it, :D

im in rank 1 and you want to fight me and you have dsl or cable and i have dial-up..so guess what ? you cant fight me because i have dial-up and you have cable or dsl :biggrin:

if TmyApp makes a different rank system for dial-up users and cable/dsl users...

This is bogus.. sorry to say. So what.. you don't want 56k users playing the game?? You're just picking on those who use 56k moderms and it's not very nice. So what.. if someone doesn't want to use a dsl/cable connection. I believe it's their own choice... and not to criticize them.
After all, in a game like this, you're the one getting the advantage cause ofur speed... however, when a 56k user tells you that you're cheating (out of ignorance) it's ur job to enlighten him on his foolishness instead of claiming that all 56k users should be cast out and put in a separate server so that they can lag themselves out.

If you're a good player.. ie anyone, you should be able to defeat anyone without complaints about his connection speed. I mean.. I play on 2 different connections.. and when I mean different, I mean T3 and Dial up and I know the difference. However my gameplay is still the same. The only time I suffer is when I use the dial up moderm to play in tag matches I'm not hosting.. then everything happens to quickly. At that time I have no one to blame but myself for joining in the brawl.. so anyone who calls you a cheat, well, look upon his ignorane and laugh.. instead of coming to the forum and pitching all 56k users as being short handed. :biggrin:

And DJ Eric.. trust me, there's no need for a new server.. or servers that bar some users for joining because of their ping or connection type :biggrin:

In conclusion, I don't think there's any need for a new server or what not for 56k users.. Let everyone enjoy the game the way it is.

first: you wanna pick on a 56k like me, then go fliping play me with my 40 at all time FPS you know why ?
because FPS = COMPUTER, not CONNECTION !

you fliping hate 56kers, we don't care about that, we play as we want to play !

now onto your little question...
no, that option will never be possible !
and even if you had a cable to cable connection you would still have that much lag since lag isn't generated by your computer but the network on whicvh it passes while going thru the whole world !

you want the lowest lag game...

- your opponent should be very very very close to your current location.
- you both have the same connection
- you both have computers higher then 1.5 gig (CPU if you prefer)

now ewhat, you probably want an option for all of this ?
and even if you're both at the very sdame house, you'll still ahve the lag monster on your toes !

that fliping get off here before it get serious.
sorry to be that brutal to you, but damn, its been for the last 2 years and a half that i have been seeing these fliping 56k haters post. try and learn before posting lag even on consoles or emulators is always there !
