but, "lag compensation", "slow connection mode" and "error correction" do not control the green ping... so, feel free to changes those... :biggrin:

"old connection mode" (which comes on automatically when u select the "firewall" checkbox) does control/effect the green ping, so for best results, it should be kept "off" on both ends (server AND client)...

I fought someone today and got a low green ping most of the time (400 - 600) and experienced minimal lag. I hit him, and he actually took damage every time!! I asked him to type in "/fps" in his display, and after some difficulties, it was around 14.000 on his end, and 27.666 on my end... but he was using Wolverine, and I had on Old Connection mode. I thought you said that to use Wolverine perfectly it took 20fps. Dan's head hurts... lack of logic...

I think it is safest to say that the green ping number shows that you could experience less lag, just like TMyApp originally said. We know that Selvin is from Canada and has a cable modem, so what do you have and where are you from, PROfessor? It could explain why the green ping doesn't seem to do anything for Selvin.

Dan it's becuase Professor lags like #### and even with this new feature it doesn't help much against him and......selvin posted those pic of him showing that hes kicking ur ass and nothing happens to ur ass so u should be the one losing the match pro cause i know selvin is better than u

No green-ping in any of my matches, but my average ping count per game has gone down about 1000. Lag is noticably smaller, good work TMyApp.
