old prisoner: watch.......cast slow on Piccolo and KH Cloud....and hast on Brooklyn and Nanaki.....when these spells are used togeter it generates a false sense of reallty...you are now moving faster than any eye can see.

Before I continue the story, I'd like to mention that Piccolo forgot to write the portion of HOW they found out where I was in the first place... But it's ok. They probably asked for directions like any smart person would do! (....) Well, moving on....

Roll: Nothing..
Brooklyn: As much as this puzzles me, me and the other gargoyles need to patrol the city tonight. Wanna come with?
Nanaki: No thanks. I'm gonna sleep.
Roll: Ok. Maybe I can find out more about this with you...
Goliath: Alright then. Broadway, Brooklyn, Lexington, and Roll. You will patrol the city tonight. We will gaurd the tower.
Brooklyn, Lexington, Broadway & Roll: Okay!
Brooklyn: Ready, Roll?
Roll: Hold on.... *pulls out a bowl from her backpack, and a bottle of milk from the air. (NEW ABILITY) She pours some into the bowl (after warming the milk), and places it in front of Nanaki along with some food* Eat up, k?
Nanaki: ...ok... *blinks*
Roll: Ok, now I'm ready!
*That being done, and everyones surprised looks being lifted, Brooklyn placed his arms around Roll, and flew off while carrying her. The other two Gargoyles followed closely behind, and all four of them began to patrol the city*
Hudson: I'll just go read a book, then.
Goliath: No. You're to watch the lion. I'm going to follow the others.
Hudson: What? But lad, if you follow them and they see you, they will think you do not trust them. You do, don't you?
*Nanaki's ears twitched*
Goliath: *quietly* I don't trust the visitors. Did you see what the girl did?
Hudson: Yes, and quite a bit of nice sorcery it is. But what's your point?
Goliath: I think she might try to hurt Brooklyn. So I'm gonna follow.
Hudson: Alright. But if they were traveling together for such a long time, then I think the lad's safe. But I am not one to stop you - YOU being the clan's leader after all.
Goliath: Well spoken, but I am still going. Remember, keep and eye on him.
*and he flew off to follow Brooklyn's group.*
--At Brooklyn's group--
Roll: So what exactly are we looking for?
Lexington: Any crime.
Roll: And when we do?
Broadway: *in a highly infatuating voice* Stop the crime.
Roll: Sounds easy enough.
Brooklyn: Not all the time...
Lexington: There's one now! *points at a bank robbery, where the robbers have Bazooka's and a strange capsule in their hands.*
Brooklyn: Let's get them!
*They flew down, and landed in front of the robbers escape routes. Brooklyn put Roll down and told her to stay behind him due to the weapons. Roll looked at the weapons. Since she didn't know what they were, they just looked like huge guns. And when she imagined a huge bullet coming out from it, she grew worried for their safety and cast Barrier on the gargoyles. They saw a metallic shield materialize and disappear in front of them, and grew a bit confused. But, when the Robbers saw this happen, they shot at the gargoyles, fearing an attack. The gargoyles proceeded to dodge, but when they couldn't, the explosion hit them into a wall. They got up again though, and weren't hurt as badly as they thought. They looked in front of them and saw the shield disappear again. Brooklyn looked at Roll and she nodded. Brooklyn smiled and ran at the robbers to stop their robbery, but they shot two shots at Brooklyn, and he was blown back into Roll. Unconcious and unprotected, he lay on top of Roll, and she didn't move and stayed near to protect him. The robbers aimed and fired again, but, unfortunately, they shot up at the building above Roll and Brooklyn, because they were attacks by the pther gargoyles. If they had struck just a moment sooner, then everything would be fine. But they did not, and the robbers shot the building. The building came on fire, and pieces were crumbling down and were about to hit Roll. Roll looked up and cast Trine. (NEW Magic! ^-^) When the rocks fell into the Trine spell, they disintigrated, and then the Trine spell disappeared. But they still had the problem of the building, because people were inside. Roll used a pheonix down on Brooklyn, and then she cast Cura on him. Then, after Broadway and Lexington came up and explained what happened, they thought of how they were going to be able to stop the fire and/or safe the people inside the building. Thinking quickly, Roll and Brooklyn looked at each other and got the same idea. Brooklyn grabbed Roll, glided high above the building, and Roll cast Water on the building. Unfortunately, it didn't have the best effect on the building, because people came flooding out of windows, doors, etc. But it was ok, because the fire was being put out, and the other people landed safely on the concrete.*
Roll: See? Told you it would be easy!
Brooklyn: Yeah...easy...right....
Roll: Don't be like that. We did it, didn't we? And besides, I learned something today.
Brooklyn: What?
Roll: City folk are really easy to fight! ^-^
Lexington: Guys, we'd better go. The police are coming, and you know what happened last time....
Goliath: *from far away* Maybe they have grown up after all..
--At the tower--
Nanaki: *fake sleeping* zzzzzzZZZZ
Hudson: .....this is boring, and he isn't going anywhere.. I'll just go read a book...

*After Hudson left with Bronx, Nanaki got up and walked outside to look out for the gargoyles and Roll and to think about what that shadow said.*
Nanaki: wonder what he meant by that...
Hudson: Good question.
*Nanaki jumped* Nanaki: Don't DO that!
Hudson: Sorry, lad. Now what are you talking about?
Nanaki: Well... *and he told him everything... about the shadow person, and their quest, and why they were here*
Hudson: hmm.. I haven't seen any of these... uh.. muggles? are they? Oh, moogles.. I haven't seen any. Just simple folk, Elisa, and Books.
Nanaki: Elisa?
Hudson: A human girl. Goliath seems to like her.
Nanaki: I see... then maybe...

Roll: *in Brooklyns arms again* Well you'd think that battle would be tougher with those huge guns, don't you?
Broadway: Yeah...
Lexington: About that battle... where do you think those metal shields came from?
Brooklyn & Roll: A magical girl....
Broadway: Huh?
Lexington: Lemme guess... that girl is you?
Roll: Yep! ^-^
Broadway: Yeah, right! Don't magical people usually wear robes and stuff?
Roll: I dunno. I don't, because I like these clothes.
Lexington: *chuckling* Yeah, and so does every adult male that sees it.

Broadway: I don't get it....

Roll: Let them go. I'm sure they'll be fine, and besides, we still have to patrol the city you know.

Lexington & Broadway: HELP!
Brooklyn: Damn! *he flew down to see what happened to Lexington first, but he was gone. And to his surprise, so was Broadway* Looks like someone set up traps for them... but who?
Roll: I dunno... but think for a second. Broadway and Lexington couldn't have gone very far if they were carried, and they are no where in sight. So let's look at where they were held, ok?
Brooklyn: Ok. Let's.
*they checked around, looking for clues of their where abouts, when Brooklyn noticed there was a hollow tone where Roll stepped. He examined it, and then pulled Roll off. He put his hands on the spot, dug his fingers into the spot, and pulled it out, revealing a small hole.*
Roll: Why don't I go in here, and you go in the other one? We need to make sure they'll both be ok!
Brooklyn: Alright then. But be careful.
Roll: Don't worry. When we left Xanatos, I took something from him that could help me fight anything, so don't worry.
Brooklyn: Ok then. Just BE CAREFUL.
Roll: Ok, ok. I will. *and she jumped down the hole, and Brooklyn jumped down the other one (after finding it). After Roll landed, she noticed that there was nothing in the room she was in*
Roll: *yelling* Lexington? Lexington, are you here?!
? ? ?: You don't have to yell. He won't hear you.
Roll: You again!?
? ? ?: You're right... now let's get down to business.. You want to know more about the "evil" I was talking about, right?
Roll: Yes, but I also want to know what you did with Lexington.
? ? ?: Oh that freak of nature? He's hanging on the wall behind me. Tell you what. This will be my last encounter with you. You can either have my information, or you can save the gargoyle. Your choice.
Roll: WHAT?! That's not fair!

? ? ?: Yes, pet. You think I can't have pets because I am evil?

* ? ? ? whistled, and a Large dragon came out of nowhere and stepped in between Roll and the man. Brooklyn was still preoccupied by getting Broadway, and Roll was all alone. Roll then took out the weapon she told Brooklyn about... the "Katana of Ninth Life"....*

a limit break is from FF games...its like when your character's health is low they can use a speacial technique.....
for example Squall can use his speacial attack called Lion Heart...........you can also use a limitbreak after you cast Aura :D

Simply Karma when your about to die you have a special tech. to use.

I can use team limits too....

*Today, Goliath hudson and Broadway were patrolling the city. Roll was sitting in between Brooklyn and Nanaki*

Nanaki: What's wrong, Roll?
Brooklyn: Yeah, you're usually filled with happiness.
Roll: I know... it's just that.. *places her hand on the map* I feel a bit.. scared and alone.
*Brooklyn and Nanaki looked at Roll*
Roll: I mean, I've heard so much that I am this "savior" and I have no idea what anyone is saying... And it just seems to be me...
*Brooklyn and Nanaki placed their hand/paw on Roll's hand*

*In a small lake about 20 miles away from the city limits, you could hear some splashing. The atmosphere around the lake was beautiful. Their were flowers, green grass that highlighted in the moon, a crazy amount of trees taller then certain buildings, and then the crystal clear lake itself. In it, Roll, Brooklyn, and Nanaki were swimming around playing water games and having fun*
Roll: Marco!
Brooklyn & Nanaki: Polo!
Roll: ...Gotcha!
Nanaki: !! Not again! And by the tail, too...
Brooklyn: Don't feel so bad. Roll got me too.
Nanaki: Not 10 times.
Roll: Yeah, so? It's cute to see you swim with your eyes closed.

Brooklyn: *Steaming* Let's continue, shall we?

*And they played for about two hours, and then got out of the lake. Roll prepared a Night-time lunch for everyone, which consisted of Fruit Juices, sandwiches, fruits, milk (^-^), vegetables, and, surprisingly, brownies for dessert. They all ate contentedly, and when they knew it would be sunrise in about an hour, they went back to the tower. When they landed, they were all very tired, except for Roll, who still wanted to check out the map.*
Nanaki: I'm tired, but I can't sleep.... at least not knowing that you are going to stay up all day.
Brooklyn: I know what you mean, Nanaki. But I can't help my sleep...
Roll: You guys should sleep. I'll sleep later on.
Nanaki: But I can't... I don't want to either...
Roll: Don't say that. I know you... you want to sleep, you need to sleep, so you're going to sleep. *Conjures up a pillow and blanket for Nanaki*
Nanaki: well, if you would make those things appear with your magic... then.. ok...
Brooklyn: Finally... Now, I'll rest...

*hugs Brooklyn right before he turns to stone. That was the end of the song. She smiled sweetly at her companions as they slept happily. She then laid herself in between Nanaki and Brooklyn and read her book until she fell asleep happily and quietly. Somehow, during their sleep, Brooklyn moved himself directly next to Roll and his hand was on her shoulder, and Nanaki layed his head across her stomach....*
