i think there should be like a dbz character like goku or trunks or vegeta to either be a helper or a special character but te next character i vote for will be warmachine or something and i bet the next character that will be made after akuma is made is probobly gonna be ken or gambit!! :D

Akuma... meh oh well at least the non Vips have a reasonable chance now against E Ryu, but at the same time they're probably gonna use him to death like the VIPS do with E Ryu... ??? Don't try to deny it guys! I've yet to fight a VIP who hasn't used him, you only have yourselves to blame for Akuma winning the vote.

Ken should've won.. he may use the same style but he practised his moves in a different way meaning his skill is different to Ryu and Akuma's.

Ken's hadoken is more defensive then offensive for a start, which means you have to get in closer, but boy it's worth it... who needs 'keep away' tatics?! Not Ken... :laughlong:

i'm best with sentinel and Spiderman, but i do play with those other chars, except wolverine... i'm very weak with him, still i will try and play against the comp and train my skill with him !

and no, people would have voted AKUMA anyway, even if E-RYU hadn't come out !

because what most of the people, including myself, does when choosing a characetr, is not choosing by their cheapness or techniques... they took him and think he's the best because he is good looking !

AKUMA = EVIL, red hair, black uniform, etc... see, he's good looking, people don't care what he can do... they just care about his look !

I do have a thing for Ken I won't deny that, but you have to admit people wanting either E Ryu or Akuma now have the added motivation to also want him to be able to counteract VIPs, just look at the votes there's only like about 12 votes between the top two! This could have easily be influnced by this factor which is why I place the vote blame on VIPs (hell if I was in a bad mood when I voted I would've picked Akuma for that very same reason)

Should be interesting though, I've always wondered how high priority akumas moves would be against E Ryu... and not forgetting maybe now we can get something called (shock horror! ) collition detection working properly with them on that air super fireball and the raging demon, which might I add was a big factor on why E Ryu is soo powerful because of it currently being...

Dan would suck on this game, why?

Gadouken: a little lag at start up, and the fireball only goes barely a distance away from his hands. He'll get flat up owned by fireballers

Koryuken: As we know in this game, anti-airs suck, and Dan is no exception. If Ryu's is bad, if Cyke's is bad, if Wolverine's is mediocre to bad, if Spider Man's is mediocre to bad, if Cunli's is horrible, then Dan might jus as well be on the same line as Chunli(or even below it)

Dankyaku: It COULD be good for traveling to get to the other side, but it's not good for dealign damage. It'll probably be a slightly better Cyclone Kick, and that move itsself is bad enough

Shinkuu Gadouken: If gadouken is plain bad, then Shikuu Gadouken must be slightly better, which doesn't cut the cheese at all.

Koryueppa: For this to connect, you have to be really lucky, or hella smart to connect this a lot.

Hisho Buraiken: same as Koryueppa


Overall, for Dan to do damage, he has to do it up close, and with the very poor variety of up close moves, Dan is a lame duck. I like Dan, he's my 8th favorite SF character, but having him as a character would be put it.... waste of time.
