i was thinking for a while...
about kens rushing special which always misses
and about helpers like juggernaught...the hulk...captain america and sakura...

these helpers have 1 thing in common...they have a very wide arc infront of there attack to prevent the opponent to jump over them (except super jump)and i was thinking...

y dnt u put that same sound breaking barrier in his special when he booms across the screen...because really...


all the other speicals of the other players...u have to super jump or block or dodge like crazy...

but kens special...(hop) "yey im safe and i can use my special while ure punching air!"

even ####ies know how to dodge the (down, back kick)
special... and this isnt even askin for much.. the barrier will just make it a slightly better special and it'll STILL be ez to counter...
Ken has got to be stronger...
even tho i prefer Ryu,
i admit Ken is ez as hell to beat with Ryu in this game...

Howbout no. He can actually catch you in mid air if you are close enough. You have to actually super jump, jump block to avoid it, or just block. If you are having problems just be smart enough to do it when the enemy releases a projectile. Ryu who can throw a very fast hadouken has some frames where he cant do anything to avoid it. It already passes through projectlies and has sometimes an unblockable shinryuken even if it misses, unlike the other one that can be easily stopped with a projectile and if it is not hit right it can have a short period of extream chance of a super right where in the face. I am a great fan of ken but it in here he is more powerful with a super uppercut that is way bigger than in marve| vs Street fighter, and a shipu jinray kyaku that is almost invincible to anything.

i think the dude is right, theres also that pause between him crouching, and then the black screen
and then he pauses again and then attacks, which is really slow and sucky

yea evil is right i never got caught in that ken super and never will(on less i get doulbe team) that would make the game kind of better for ken user's :ghostface:

Do you guys read? Is it so damn hard to find a period of total vulnerability. All characters have it, even ryu. If you can't you ain't got skill. Use a helper first, when the other one throws a projectile, landing from an uppercut or air move, etc. It is more powerful than normal because it is projectile resistant, it only has a few disadvantages. First I never heard of ken able to teleport ( not that the idea is dumb) but breaking the sound barrier? At least be realistic this ain't Dbz, maybe fire barrier or something else.

kens special has a smaller hit percentage than ryu or the other characters, doesnt mean he always misses
it think it should be a little faster like ryus Shinku Hadoken

i like the idea because all i do is press up then forward and i just start killing the person who does it. the idea is good because at least the move will have a chance of hitting instead of never hitting some1

... a Ki Barrier... not sound barrier, not fire barrier. a Ki Barrier you slut... and yes there HAS been Ki barriers in Sf Alpha. and obviously wer using Alpha models in this game(except chun li)

btw radd, ifur so confident about your part, y dont you try to use Ken while i use Ryu .no helpers. perks off. I doubt you'll even come close to beatin me.
The thing is, you can jump over Ken right b4 he does a Shoryugen too.
even after you get hit, its pointless.
the only way to do this the good way is, which is what you said,
when they r near the ground in air shootin projectiles and won't be able to block when you come in.
only when Ken's attacks keep them in the air and keep em in the air till it ends, thats the only way to use it succesfuly on a non-####ie.
If anything, i'd like Ken's movement durin the time it starts and the time it hits them to be faster.
or.. yes.. the Ki Barrier.

and also another problem is if in case u do get caught in his attck and unable to jump it... all u do is crouch and block...
the normal hits do absolutly nothing and his finish with the uppercut only does like 2 damage total

ken improvements = unnecessary in my view he has other specials so use em instead

Well this idea is for new people I think for advanced people don't need it. but it still nice idea. :)

yea. i mean evil ken is my fav (i dont really need that extra "ki" barrier cause im good enough without it) and its kinda sad to see him do absolute crap with 1 of his hyper specials (shippujinraikyaku). In Sfa3 if you block it it still takes off about 1/4-1/8 of their health. And when you do it here and its blocked it does like .0001 to their health. its sad. lol.

yeah thats a good idea Evil...but also Ken should be alot faster...Because ken is faster then ryu....but on sfo he is not =\...Ken=Fastest shoto
