Something about ryu and ken - Something about ryu and ken

Well basically if you've ever played the original street fighter games on super nintendo you'd have noticed how after ken and ryu do a specific amount of hadokens they turn red and do more damage...But seeing as how this is SFO and hadokens are easier to do on the keyboard I don't think it will happen unless you do like 10-20 in a row..Anyways I was just posting this topic to see what other people think..

Well perhaps a seperate command for the red/flame hadoken would be good since continuous hadokens would be cheap.

People are cheap enough as it is without the reward of a more powerful hadouken. I agree with alamgir, a button combo would be good but im sure the fire hadoken was just some kind of glitch....

What i noticed about Ken...he can do shoryuken in the air. With the other characters...you have to tought the ground first..before you can do shoryuken (drgaon punch).

Who else noticed this?

we all did but no one else should get it cause ken has no air air special or projectile special so it kinda balances out (still think he needs a new special)

would down back punch solve this problem? and i really think ken and akuma need the down back p1 p2 shinkuu hadoken!! or maybe just akuma but yea i would like that...... to compete w/ ryu!!!

i agree on that :biggrin:

his air shoryuken helps to evade moves. When i think someone is gonna use a special on me, and i use kne (usually i'm right here when i guess it :D ) i would do a high jump, then a (high) shoryuken to move myslef over more..then i end up behind my opponent..and blast him...

it's pretty helpful and shouldn't be changed :biggrin:

I agree with Vash...ryu is fine the way he is... Ryu isn't cheap nor Ken...but if we add more moves to Ryu..Then Ryu is going to be cheap, unless he is slowed down a bit like Ken

In the original Street Fighter Kens Hadokens are green. They should be green. A good move for ken would be his hurricane barrage super where he does an intense hurricane kick that spins inside the air from the ground sorta like his regular hurrican ekick only thing its super strong and fast and last longer. I also think Chun Lis Air Bird KIck is useless I never saw someone ever land that move its like its made just to waste a level. Ken should also be able to do his Shinryuken super in the air that would make him the poop on SFO just the way its suppose to be XD. I also think that kens double fire punch that was in the game b4 they took it out be put back in. Ken was the best character when he had that move. I also think that Ryus Super Hadouken should be implemented in the game not the shinkuu hadoken but the Giant Size Regular Hadoken that goes across the screen that would be ownage. I also think that onslaughts teleport should be implemented in the game because of all helpers that make him useless like guile and cody and tlfs. I also think Chun Lis Shadow RD should be put into the game where she kicks u and 4 Chinese Symbols Pop up on the screen and turn into fire.

But you know these things will never happen :)

Shin akuma is already cheap enough with his lvl 1 raging demon so I dont like the idea of him getting anything else..

I'd love to see those moves in this game Metal_Ken. But considering the "punks" who are desperate for wins/rage factor/rank, there would be TOOO MUCH people taking advantage of those moves.

Let's take it back to Dec 25, 04. When Sakura's shougen attack was abused cause it was a bit too strong. TMy would have to think about how storng to make it, and is it reasonable. Even though, Ryu's bigger shinku hadouken would just be abused regardless.

I understand it was some ideas, some of them might never happen. But for all we know, TMy has them on the "Maybe List"

i agree with that. The only good thing he has going for him is his lvl 1 RD. Which some desperate people abuse.

I think E. Ryu is the best. He has moves atained from other characters (Akuma) as well as his own. I think that makes him the best.
