Dr. doom is too powerfull... - Read inside before flaming ;d

i don't mean he isn't a good helper, he is a "great" helper.
but i think he is more of an attacker then a helper cause he doesn't "PUSH" the opponent away and he stay on screen for almost 5 secondes ! that mean he takes away 1/4 of the opponent's life each time you pull it out !

you can use it 4 times, now do the math... it is too easy to win with him except that you have to use an helper to get him out of reach ! so in the nutshell, it is too easy to win with him !

of course, i saw people hating Sentinel Force for the same reason !

anyway, try and do something tmyapp. i know you will do something about him !

Just because some ppl use him aganist you, then get you caught in his attack, is no reason to change the helper.

thats basically how it works.if he takes out drdoom ur opponent is simple gonna come after u and conflict extra damge so just stay out the way. super jump or whatever.

Um.............. It said in the weapon X challenge that if u complete the evil challenge u will be rewarded with great power....... so thats what Dr doom does inflict massive damage so just leave him the way he is.

I don't find anything wrong with dr doom, and as for instant kill, i have never been instant killed by dr doom. I think he is one of the best helpers we have so far, and even if your opponent uses him, you could try fireballs to keep them away untill it wears off. Or you could use a super if ya got one, and if you have a character that can multi jump in mid air then it is even easier to avoid him.

I beleive a few folks have noticed that the Dr. Doom,Sentinel combo is nearly undefeatable.

I started using this combo as soon as i saw how Doom operated.....and i have to admit.....i am damn near undefeatable with the 2....But i have been beaten SENSELESS by only the BEST players,using their favorite character of choice,when i use the Sentinel,Dr. Doom match up.These 2 characters make an extreamly powerful team....but they are NOT undefeatable....lag or no lag.

I know what ya'll are gonna say,"Lag does to make a difference! They just MAGICLY appear behind you with Doom already activated!"
Heres a tip for some of ya...YOU create your own lag. (cable/dsl users exempt....possibly) I cant even begin to tell ya how many players using Cyclops try to defeat me using JUST the low optic blast....or any optic blast for that matter.
It dont work guys....only against pigeons (i/e: new player or the 4 letter N word :).
What i see is THEM doing an optic blast....i block...as soon as the blast stops....ill super jump over them...and back off...What i then see is Cyclops continue doing optic blast after optic blast into nothing...and, in the totaly wrong direction...this will continue until
A) The player stops shooting in the wrong direction...or
B) I go nuts on 'em with a few Hypers/Helpers....and FORCE them to take notice that i have moved....Spice it up guys....Cyclops kickswork GREAT...ya just gotta know when and how to use them...they realy set your opponent up good for a high optic blast followed by a genesplice....and a few airiel blasts/Hyper blast....and dont pound the keys...press the moves just fast enough to get the character to preform the action you want them to preform,when the character is about half way through the action you requested...press the next action you would like them to preform....i enter my "moves" about 1 every 1-2 seconds...and it takes about 1 second to enter the key commands...so what it breaks down to roughly is
A) Enter key commands 'takes 1 second'
B) wait 1 second
C) Repeat
For faster users im sure it takes a few hundredths of a second less.But thats hardly noticeable by humans.
So basicaly what im sayin is SLOW DOWN...give your computers time to think and accept your opponents information as well..and when your in a match and the $hit hits the fan....BLOCK and continue blocking until you get your bearings.And then lauch an offencive/defesive attack.

But any ways...back on topic.
Dr. Doom to powerful....nah he is a "secret" helper after all.
And a one of a kind helper at that. All the other helper just dash across the screen....Doom sticks to YOU like glue :)
For those of you who dont like having Doom used against you in a fight.
Host your own games more often...and use Doom to your advantage.

Dr doom is the greatest if u know how to combine your super and him like me. With dr doom it does major damge works for ryu,chunli and wolvrine.
So i would not do a thing about Dr doom he is just fine get used to jumping back kid :sly:

He kept on doing Ryu's super kick(forget what its called) and right when he did it, he would call out Dr. Doom.
Using him as an attacker, not as a helper.....of course, he never once caught me in that move.

I would say that dr doom does take psylockes place.Now the thing is that can you jump away with out getting hit by an air super.Can you afford to get hit with that helper if you have a minimal amount of life left.THATS A ? i would like a answer to only if you know what i meanz ???

#1 Dr. Doom is the answer to the "corner trap". Instead of the attacker being pushed away from the opponent getting beat in the corner, the attacker is stuck, and has to take all that damage (which is dissappointing, b/c i always do this with wolverine :biggrin: )
#2 If you're caught in a beam super (sent., cyc., or ryu) across the screen, how is Dr. Doom going to help you!!! you'lll waste a helper and still take full damage.
So, there's high and low points to him. Let's keep him, considering TMyApp spent all this time creating him and making the DWX stories. We wouldn't want to be snobs and say all TMy's good work is not good enough, eh?

yes i do agree that he is a great helper !
yes he does an attack and yes he is a hidden helper.

but when you combined him with a super of any choice or event simple moves then he gets to kill about 80-90% of your char.
he is too powerfull right now ! he need to lower the damage cause after all, he is the helper not the super !

I understand that U're complaining that Dr.Doom is too powerful but I think TMy App made him that way too like balance the helpers............cuz we need bad helpers:spiral,venom, average helpers:Shuma Gorath, Blanka, etc... and the strong ones:Sakura,psylocke,Dr.Doom.... that's my opinion maybe people think that blanka is better than sakura but anyway, it's all about balance.........I think it's better this way......... and it will help the people that fought Dr.Doom to think of strategies to avoid his gigantic power :D

then i just called DOOM then boom i ask for sentinel force then i pull out the super and i won. i think you all say that he is oke cause you aren't good to this game and you needed some bug like cheats... people used psylock at a time cause when you had her you would beat the opponent to easily... is this what you want again people ? it is a FIGHTING GAME not "best helper can beat you all" it's already bad to have that much lag on, why do we need an helper who makes you lose 80% of your lifebar ?

anyway this is hopeless since i'm probably the only one who want to play fair here !

here is an example of what is called a "GOOD HELPER"

the guy is fighting 1on1 quick match...
he has hulk and i have dr. doom he is beating the hell out of me and when i hit him he doesn't lose any life cause there is too much lag on ! then i am trap in a corner, i am at about 10% life and he still is at about 100%... i called out dr. doom traping him in so i did get my chance and blasted it with my super (plasma storm)

what happen... he lost about 95% of his life and i hitted him with a single punch that actually killed him !

if this is your perfect helper then your clearly a noob killer that sees a way to get at the top of ranks !
