A pause option - What do you think?

i think we should have a pause option for the practice...give me your opinions...

Yes yes! There should be a pause feature...but how would it work? U pause ur game and the other person is forced to pause aswell? Or something else...

I think one person pauses, then the opponents screen says the game has been paused, but the game resumes when both players hit an ok button

there is no real opponent in practice.
my question goes like this, why would you need a pause option ?

Oops my bad..it would be good in practice also..but i think it would be better when u fight other ppl..what if u got to ####? But ur in a fight and ur winning?? Or have to do something? It would be better that way..but itz cool in practice also...i bet this will happen..but TMyApp proably dosent have time or thinks that its not as important as other features that need to be added.

I asked this in September(or October I think)....

Imagine this is an arcade, there is no pause menu when your in the arcade, if you have to take a wiz, then you lose 2 coins....

No, no need for one, like Tark said, ya lose 2 coins, or a match in the real game, and why on earth do you need one in Practice?

u'r all missing the most important point ... there IS a "pause" option in there... right now !! :biggrin:

just "taunt" the sntinel with u'r "start" key ("1" by default) .. and he'll stop kicking u'r arse'... :biggrin:

can u make it pause in the game
but not actually pausing,
like press start, and the opponents sees a word in the corner "pause" then he would stop fighting, so u wont get hit while ur typing ... ??? just an idea..

if the opponent is a newbie, or wants points badly, he's going to keep going...

thats just cheating!! u pause the game when your opponent is about to do a super and then u get some time to block it or jump

I kinda think its a good idea. If u could pause the game, the game should have a counter so u can only pause the game for a maximum of like 2 minutes until the opponent can start to kick ur arse. if there wasnt a counter then u could pause the game and leave the opponent on the other end paused so they would eventually quit.

btw i didnt mean to pause, i meant to show up on the other players screen so they will stop, u can block or jump until they stop or something, and then chat.....
