[ NEXT VERSION: 02q ] - official discussion

well, tiz been a while since i made one of these posts (or updated the loading screen for that matter)

so, here is what you can expect in the NEXT release (prob on or b4 the weekend):

-a "game recorder" which will allow you to record, and SAVE the games u play to a file.. then, send them to friends, or post them on the web for all to see... best part is, these files will be between 10 and 100k in size
-possible changes in "speed" to Logan and Li (she really needs to be a bit faster)
-fix for various bugs/glitches

it's not much, but, but i think the recorder will be a little something we can ALL use (to post cool matches we have with friends, or for tournament purposes)

now.. what to expect in the nearest future (1-3 months from now) .. well, thats a tough one... there are a number of "major ideas" i have on the to-do list... new features to the top-scores, new graphix, new chat.. and so on...

but, after thinking about it for a while, i think what will happen is me spending about a week on the "database changes" (internal stuff that no one really cares about) and then hit the 4 player mode...

there will be support for 2-4 players in the game, AND .. up to 3 observers.. and, if all goes well, i plan to release Scott and the 4 player mode pretty much @ the same time...

u can expect new player moves, and little features/changes between now and that time (as well as a new "gameplay mode"... well, maybe... thats all i'll say for now).. and a fairly good upgrade to the graphix player animations once the 4 player mode DOES hit...

... oh, and if someone wants to host a tournament (besides Zing/Quass), plz do... i'll provide an official prize... (blue ryu, after i dust off the bastard)... so, anyone can do it, just write me an email of why it should be you, and the rules that you plan to have :biggrin: iwanttohostthebloodytournament@cyberfuturism.com

we are close.. VERY close... and i swear to all of u, the 4 player mode will be NOFFIN' what you all expect or can even imagine... just, hang in there people....

really cool tmyapp i really have to say that i will record my match even they are really laggy sometimes cool thing happen and i reallly want to look into them !

the 4 player mode will bring death to those helpers but hey you still can make another mode of play ! and this 4 player mode will be cool imagine cyclops and ryu VS wolvie and chun-li wow what a match it would be if chun-li and wolvie wins !

Well I have a simple question, will this 4 player mode be able to do battles with the same character?

example: Wolverine and Wolverine vs Wolverine and Wolverine(the laggiest match of all time)

You can't assciate a character with lag??? That would be like a cheat. Someone could be faster, but not laggier. (That would mean Juggernaut would have the least lag)

If your meaning to say associate(not assciate) then... Wolverine is too fast... he lags up the place, goes from one place to another without walking, his berzerk barrage is too continous... which might make the weapon X extremly laggy.


And about the Juggernaut quote, Juggernaut might not have the least lag, and its just not speed depending on how laggy it is(Ryu,'s shinku hadouken)

Well if you say Wolverine is fast already. Be happy the Berseker Charge isn't here. Also, that continuous thing is stupid (no offence) and should be changed.

Well, basically, if you put someone into the Berseker Barrage in a corner and you do it again before the touch the ground they can't block while in the arcade they can block.

yeah it helps me alot cause i wont have to use camstudio anymore cause that makes me handicaped during fights

yeah camstudio makes you move slow even though you press turbo mode :(

The best way to put it is that Juggernaut won't lag more than anybody else, but due to his size, it is a lot easier to hit him if he does lag.

A better video recorder then cam studio is camtasia. It works alot better and you get to do alot of different things with your video after you recorded the match. Just go to www.camtasia.com its free.
