A serious glitch - Hits and combos

Well recently I noticed that when playing tag and especially if I am not the host. The hits my opponent gives me seem to multiply. It's like wolverine doing the drill claw and his claws just get sruck in my characters chest and the poor guy's life keeps on zapping away. And then two moves take out all his life. ??? . Well I do not know if it just happens to me but I use different computers to play the game and it's always the same(i e both 56k and DSL). I wanted to ask if this was normal or if there's a problem? ???

yea wolvie does take away a lot of life but usually its just lag...
