can we have a pause feature? because im getting tired of when i have to use the bathroom or something they just keep attacking you

Bad idea. Want to know why? Idiots these days will pause the game and they will leave the game paused until the other user leaves the game just to get an easy win..

didnt someone already make a thread like this some time ago?? any wayz. the idea for a pause button is bad cuz what if someone leaves when they paused it .

but on the computer one is cool. Do it when you have to use the bathroom when fighting the computer.

but it would only work on 1 on 1 matches. You press 1 and gives a 5 second countdown request to the other user to accept your pause request by pressing 1 as well. The pause should last atleast go for Ten "GAME" seconds then the game resumes.

but ofcourse anybody can be disconnected in ten game seconds.

well, i think the idea for a pause button for EVERY round against the cpu (like it says game paused or something and you cant attack the cpu if you pause it) is a good suggestion. i often find myself in need of 1 during a story mode match.

I think that's a very intelligent idea. You encompased all the possible faults of the pause button and managed to create an idea which could possible work. Well done man.

Wouldn't your excellent idea cause lag? Incredible lag?
Isn't this why the topic like this before was locked. Your idea really is excellent, dominicankid098, but you did say about disconnections already. but, not only that, what if the timer lags, even just a little? You would be stuck at two different times for a while (could be VERY long or as short as a Speed Adjusted time period)
In multiplayer, it just wouldnt work, especially with computers and all the different connections out there.
As many(3?) People said before in CPU fights, pause would be excellent.
With your idea, I wish it would work... but it seems it just wouldn't.

I have a reset match theory.....

You press the reset match button...if the other player agrees to the request the match is restarted....=/

Well, you know how the start button (in 2on2 and 2on1 matches), when you press it, a message comes out about "TAG PARTNER", why not have a button that says, "HOLD UP" when you press it?? The game won't stop are nothing, its just a message that shows you that the person if telling you to hold-up.. but you know, ppl might get carried away with it.. and would start being cheap with it, telling the person to "HOLD-UP", then hit a special on their opponent. *sigh*

Yeah imagine the problems this would cause in tourneys. And in the game in general its a NO NO from pip. MeH some good ideas though.

I think that the pauseing idea is a good one...........for CPU fights if it was in a player fight then a #### wood pause and look up cheats or moves and try to beat you said cheats and moves :blues:
